Hey,.

I used to be able to have an album cover view in itunes, where it was bascially showing all albums in itunes with cover it's all over. about 10 albums in a single line. Is it not possible more in itunes 12.4.1.6. ?

Thank you!

If you don't see it, enable the sidebar via the view menu. Select music as kind of media, and then select the Albums as a display option.

  • Why iTunes 12.5 play my library of songs together, instead of playing the album from the chosen song

When I get to the album, and and select a song in an album, itunes plays all songs in the library, instead of just playing this specific album, beginning of the song I've selected.

Double-click the first track you want to play instead of use the blue play button.

  • iTunes displays wrong work when album field is empty

I use iTunes on Windows 120 12.4.1.6, but I had this problem for a while...

I have a lot of tracks where the album field is empty (for example, singles, mixes, radio shows) that have added work and work correctly shows when I go to the tab work on 'get info '.

However, when I choose to be considered the 'Playlist' or 'Albums' of the work that shows is often mistaken for tracks where the scope of the album is empty - it shows usually work by the same artist, but another track.   If I change the album field to give it the same name as the name of the song the work then is displayed correctly (and disappears when I empty the album field once again).

I don't want to put an album name in for all of these tracks (it makes no sense and would also blow a lot of smart playlists, I have) and I wouldn't need to do.  I tried to clear the cache of the work, but this does not solve the problem.

I looked on many forums, but can't see anyone else with this problem.  Is it me?  Anyone have an idea how I can fix this problem?

    Thank you

    Select this option.

Each track in iTunes is part of an album. If you leave the field empty album, then it becomes the unknown album. iTunes still unknown albums of groups of their artist or album artist if it is present. The correct treatment for a simple is to use the name of the single under the name of the album. If you have smart playlists that currently use the titles of the white album as a criterion for selection, you can change other values as group save say unique before you change the titles. See different KeywordsToField scripts to http://samsoft.org.uk/iTunes/scripts.asp for an easy way to quickly and systematically update the properties of the selected titles.

Order of songs is controlled by the number of drive and the beaches. Set them accordingly.

  • iTunes albums back reading

A few weeks ago, all of a sudden, my songs started playing an order backward. When I play the first song from an album, itunes it identifies as something like the last song, and once the song is finished, playback ends. If I start playing the second song, and I press the 'next' button, it goes to the first song and the playback ends after that song. If I am in the opinion of the artist, and I have several albums of this artist, after the first song of an album, continues to play until the last song of the album.

How can I fix? I'm under 12.2.2 itunes in Mac OS X Lion

    Thank you!

Switch to the view of songs and make sure that you use an ascending sort order. You will find a small triangle at the top of the current sort column. Click this option to reverse the sort order. You should find playback now works too.

  • iTunes does not play albums in order of track and jumps around the tracks. How to restore order in the right way?

Recently iTunes won't play the album titles in the proper order. When I click on an album tracks are listed in the proper order, but when I play the album iTunes jumps all about order.

It's obvious, but please confirm that you have not selected shuffle option. Just turn it ON and STOP could also help.

  • view iTunes Album snaps back to the top

Hi all, I have a problem with my iTunes, which I fear may now default to iTunes.

When I press 'play' or double-click a track for 'Album' iTunes snaps me back to the top of my list of album.

I have the music for 88 days.

As you can imagine, this could be rather irritating, a lot of the time.

Is there something I can do? Or something Apple can do, such that go back to the good old days where you could actually watch what you play?

    Yours sincerely,

    Timothy Morton

Yes, there is an annoying bug. A quick solution is to hit Cmd - L... Will take you to the currently playing song.

I came here looking for my iTunes annoyance: when I double-click an album, all I want is so that he can play and open this album. Unfortunately, they are not properly handle double-clicks, depending on whether the album was already open, as iTunes is at the forefront and most annoyingly, according to where the album is so vertically scrolled on the screen, it may or may not play and peut or cannot open.  This bug you mentioned also another problem. (Although I only saw him intermittently).

  • 12.3.1.23 iTunes won't download album despite the correct metadata artwork

For some albums, iTunes 12.3.1.23 will not download album despite the correct metadata artwork.

It will download other graphic works (sometimes even when metadata is not correctly match).

Is it possible to determine the metadata that should be used to force iTunes to actually download the art for a specific album of the store?

Or is it possible to download the work of the store to an album without metadata change?

If iTunes works the same as it has for a while, I don't want to download the work manually and then manually associate the iTunes tracks, because that adds a copy of the work of each of the files.  (if iTunes has been changed to not insert a copy of the work in all track files when you manually add work instead of download from the store in iTunes, please let me know)

It seems to be a problem in the interaction between iTunes and the store which results in the failure to return the work even when metadata are matched.  Drawn from here and elsewhere, it started with the release of iTunes 12.2 and the launch of Apple's music and many receive some press releases, pending a fix (which could be an iTunes update or correction for the operation of the store), there is no alternative other than the addition of work from other sources.

  • How can I create 2 albums in the same name and the same artist

The guy is anyway to make the 2 albums in the same name for the same artist? If there is no way so please someone tell me how can I suggest updating to iTunes

    Faisal,

If they have the same artist and eponymous album, iTunes will think they are from the same album.  The best way would be to change the title for the second version, for example 'Loveless' and 'Loveless 2.'  Or you could put parts in separate lists.

  • All I seek Tunes produces only the Album options

WWhenever I search for iTunes, if I'm looking for the name of the artist/group or the title of a piece of music or the title of an album, iTunes displays only the titles of the Album of this specific artist / group.  ITunes will display a screen with the artist / Groupmost popular Singles, followed by albums, followed by byRingtones.  I have not changed any options in the preferences.  Could I have selected an option on the main screen of iTunes by mistake and not noticed?

    Darrell,

Just to be safe, I assume you mean on the iTunes Store, not the research in your own library.

In the store, put the point under the albums songs.  Most popular show first, and then there's a 'all' to see the complete set, as in the example below:

  • Update album artwork, but then always change in return.

OK so I have several works of the album that update very well, but then as soon as a few seconds they change back.

I think I just do: I remove the work of old in the section to read the information, select my new and I do this for every song in the album.

So every song Gets the old deleted, added a new and updates of the entire album, and everything seems fine... just a few moments!

I think it's as soon as iCloud music library and/or iTunes game work on synchronization, and that they synchronize the d * mn ancient works of art that is in the cloud... to my new!

Is there a way to make this STAY? Otherwise, it's a hard work useless neverending.

In case you're wondering: no, he did not buy the music, never had this problem, since she gets the work automatically store.

It's imported into iTunes music (just a few albums this), what can I say had low resolution, and work when I find the right I want to CHANGE.

It does not change, but at the end of the day, I always end up back with the old work I've had for a while and which is in iCloud/match.

I even tried to remove these album iTunes AND the Music Library/iTunes Match iCloud, just completely deleted, and then import again.

Oddly enough the problem remains, the work failed to REST ever!

I'm doing something wrong? I hope that Yes, so I can fix it!

  • iTunes Store recently added missing purchases

Since the upgrade to iTunes 12.4.1 my purchases of song/album iTunes Store is no longer appear in the list "recently added". Individual tracks are also not appearing in 'Song' registration and my iTunes game does not synchronize these purchases in any of my devices. I am referring only to purchases made since the upgrade.

I tried logging in and on my iTunes account to "reset", but it does not work. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem?

In fact, it turned out to be a matter of connecting to iTunes. Turning off iTunes game, quit iTunes, restart iTunes and then iTunes game (or iCould music library, I guess that) did the trick.

  • iTunes not finding files in the same directory

I have about 350 missing files in my library of thousands of songs iTunes music - I do not know how iTunes lost track of them, because I did not move, but I replace the hard drive that my library had a few weeks back.  Apart from that, if I find a single file to an album, iTunes then asks the standard question, "would you live iTunes to use the < name of track > location to find other missing files in your library?  When I click on the "Search files" button in this dialog box, iTunes allows you to easily search the rest of the album that was missing.  However, he is not doing this and now impossible to find one of my other missing music.  I'll have to match every file missing one at a time, which will be incredibly tedious.

Is this a bug introduced in a recent version of iTunes?  This feature is used to work properly, although I have not used in the better part of a year now.  My PC is running Windows 10 and iTunes v12.4.1.6.  I've probably will eventually present it as a question to the support of iTunes, but wanted to see if another person had this same experience first and might know what is happening.

    Thank you!

The "missing file" error occurs if the file is no longer where iTunes is expected to find. Causes possible is that you or a third-party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, one of its parents, or the reader, records it feeds has been a change in the letter of the drive or you have moved a non-portable library to a different path (see make a split cell library for more details). It is also possible that iTunes has changed from waiting for the files in the presentation of pre-iTunes 9 post-iTunes 9 layout, or vice versa, and so looking for a bit in the wrong place.

Select a track with an exclamation point, use Ctrl - I to get the information, and then click No when asked to try to locate the track. Look under the file tab for the location that iTunes thinks that the file should be. Now look around your hard drive. I hope you can locate the track in question. If a part of your library has just been moved, renamed a folder or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse actions. If the difference between the two railroads is an additional music directory in a path, then it is a problem of layout. I can explain more if this is the case. If everything is where it is supposed to be trying to fix the security permissions for iTunes for Windows.

In some cases, iTunes may be able to repair itself if you go through the same steps with Get Info, or during playback of a track, but this time, click on search and browse the lost track. Then, it can offer try to automatically correct the other broken links. Although he said something like 'use the same location' I think he expects to find titles in the same provision, artist / album, they were previously, with a systematic change to the path.

If another application like Windows Media Player has moved/renamed files, or the library was moved from OS X to Windows, then chances are that subtle differences in naming strategies it will be difficult to restore the media to the precise path that iTunes is pregnant. In this case, as long as the missing files somewhere, you should be able to use my FindTracks script for reconnecting to iTunes. See this post for an explanation of how it works.

If you want me to try to provide specific advice, please post back the following details:

    1. The location of the media under Edition folder > Preferences > advanced

    2. The location of a sample of missing follow indicated under Get Info > file > location that begins file://localhost/

  • The real path to the file which you gave 2 details
