• AppleTV is sharing all of my iPhone photos and not my album shared?

  My model A1625 AppleTV running 9.2.1 and I am logged into my iCloud account and you want to simply display the photos uploaded to an album shared with iCloud photo library, which is turned on. This shared album works really because I'm interested in it through the Photos app on my iPhone and also to access the shared album on an old AppleTV running an older operating system (not even sure what version). I have turned off sharing photos iCloud and home sharing is turned off.

  When I go into the Photos on the AppleTV (A1625) application it has options at the top, for Photos and Albums. There is no option for shared albums, and when I select all Photos or Album option at the top, it seems to be sharing EVERYTHING from my iPhone (all photos and videos).

  It is hard to tell from your description, that you have shot and where the parameters.

  You need iCloud photo sharing turned on on the Apple TV.

  If the shared album is new you need to disconnect to iCloud on Apple TV and sign my insert the again.

  Lately I've known something very strange.  Very rarely, I go through the steps to post a photo or a video on an album shared my Photos on my iPhone, but after finishing when I type then "Shared" downstairs to check the album, the photo is not here.  It does not appear in the shared himself album, or activity.  It just is not there.  It happened several times.   • Maximum number of photos and videos in a single contributor through all the albums at the time: 1000
  • Maximum number of photos and videos in a single contributor through all the albums, per day: 10 000

  These limits sharing are separated from the download above limit. For example, in the same day, you could upload 10,000 photos to my photo stream, then share these photos 10 000 or 10,000 other photos.

  • The maximum subscribers per shared album: 100 (the number of subscribers on each shared album)

  Yes. After photos are shared, anyone who can see the shared album can download and keep them permanently. Videos can be downloaded to a Mac or a PC. On a device iOS, videos sent from iCloud and cannot be downloaded.

  • In iPhoto or Aperture for Mac, you can add or copy shared photos or videos in your library.
  • On a Windows PC, you can copy pictures and videos to an album shared to any folder.

• ATV 4th gen Screensaver available only for Albums "shared."

  Is there a way to create a slideshow or a screensaver of my albums of photos in icloud. This is only available albums I "shared" my phone. All my photo albums are available on the Apple TV, but I don't have the option to start a slide show or set a screensaver to them. I can only manually sift through the photos.

  All I can think is that you're doing (or do not do, if any) something different from what you think you are. Photos in the camera are not the same as those in a shared album photos, they are 2 separate elements, a delete will not delete both.

  Make sure the photo you want to delete is actually in a shared album and not the album photo streams, make sure of one) have a camera and b) is where you want the other image.

• Why can not download pictures from an Album shared on my iPad?

  No sense for me to build this application around the iPad and give him sharing capabilities, but not being able to download shared albums directly on the iPad.

  You should be able to save the picture on your camera to your iPad. Go to view magnifying glass where you look at a picture you want to save. Tap the arrow in the upper right and select SAVE TO CAMERA ROLL.  I would like to know if it works for you.

  I have an old Apple ID that I use no more (but it still exists). Years ago I had shared several streams/albums photographs under this old Apple-ID. Now, I want to delete those. But as I am not more with this old Apple ID on any of my devices, I don't see how I can remove them. I have connected to iCloud.com, but these shared albums are not shown here.

  So, how to remove these old albums shared of my old Apple ID?

  I think you will have to log in under this old Apple ID (on your device) and you should see it then and you can remove it.  Don't forget to disconnect completely with the current Apple ID to connect to the old.

• How to add pictures of e.g. a year to a shared album?

  I use the Mini 4 iPad with iOS 9.3.3 (and an iPhone and Apple TV4). I would like to share my fotos (> 5000) on the screensaver on Apple TV. For that, it seems, they must be in a shared album. Since I am one of about 9000 stored in the iCloud, I have to add a subset [less than 5000, which seems to be the limit :-(]. So far I can only add one image by image or group by Group ('Moments', usually from 1 to 10 images) for the album shared, which takes forever. If I do too much at once, iPhoto crashes. I would add the year annually, if possible (about 500 pictures in one year), or anything else more effective. Any ideas? Thanks for all the help I can get.

  You could use more than a shared album and switch between them.

  I use for my photos only screensaver that were marked as Favorites.  Maybe you can eliminate your years in this way.

  The limits are there, because shared Albums are a free part of iCloud and do not count against your storage space free iCloud.

  Shared albums are essentially photo streams. They will always show the photos in the order that add you them to the album.  If you want your photos to appear in a specific order, you must add them to the album individually, one by one, exactly in the order of your choice.  You cannot add all photos in an album at once - which will give unpredictable results.

  For example, to create a new album with your photos.  Then ctrl-click on the album and select "Keep arranged by Date, oldest first" to sort the album.  Now add each photo from the album shared individually.  There will be a lot of work.

  You can not have subscribers to your photo stream, I'm not sure I understand your question.

  Check, if you shared albums hidden.  There is a "Show/hide" hidden to the right of the "Shared" title control The pointer there to reveal.

  

  Click on 'Show', if this option is available.

  If the title "Shared" does not show at all, check, if the shared Albums are enabled in your Photos > Preferences > iCloud.  If Yes, but records do not show, disable iCloud, sharing in system preferences > iCloud, then restart the Mac and reactivate the iCloud, photo sharing.
