Alienware area 51 25 fps...

Hello

Sorry for my bad English, I'm French,

I have Ben Ali recently an Alienware Area 51 with 32 GB of Ram and 2 graphic cards Nvidia Gtx 960, I activated the SLI.

I have a few games 400fps as League of legends/rocket League etc. in Ultra quality.

But in other games like Rainbow Six seat or the forest, I need to be in the moderate to get 20-30 FPS... I have a monitor dell of 3840 x 2160...

Can someone explain/help me why so I have less FPS?

Thank you very much for your help,

Antoine Bedaton

The fps you get seems quite normal for this resolution with these cards as it turns be 4K resolution. Try to run games in 1920 X 1080?

  • Problem updating display on Alienware Area-51 m15X Vista drivers

Hello. Recently, I had a virus on my Alienware Area-51 m15X. It finally did my restore my computer to its factory site. Most of the drivers was missing. I reinstalled my wireless card driver and the graphics driver, but the graphics driver does not work correctly. I uninstalled and went on the Web from NVIDIA site to reinstall the appropriate driver, and it still doesn't work right. I used Driver Sweeper to clean all the files on my HARD drive that are associated with the NVIDIA device in safe mode. I reinstalled all the and restarted my computer and I still get the error message. I can't send it because it is not under the manufacturer's warranty, and I have little money to send it to Best Buy Geek Squad. Please, if there is a way to solve this problem, even though it requires the formatting of my HARD drive, I'll be ready to do so.

I solved the problem. For future use, if you own an Alienware or use the NVIDIA 8600 M GT card, uninstall the driver using Device Manager and use the driver Sweeper to remove all traces of the driver. Once this done, do not restart, but go on the alienware website and download the NVIDIA driver (you must know your operating system, ect. ect. for the driver) and install it. Windows will say that his signature is unreadable. Click on install anyway. reboot and your laptop must be as new :D

  • Alienware Area 51 (ALX)

    Hello

I have an Alienware Area 51. I think that's not the ALX, but I'm not sure. I have a few questions:

    1. the Dell website does not recognize my service tag when I he returned in product support, my tag is the NOTE from the ADMIN: maintain the label removed according to the rules of confidentiality > (generated by the system Dell detects)

    2. I think that my collar closed not automatic, but how can I be sure? I see that somewhere?

    3. the active ventilation does not work correctly. 2 fins are not going up, they get stuck after one or 2 centimeters. They go down in the normal way. How can I fix?

    Thanks in advance

Remove the two side panel access doors. Remove your signs of topping top skinny black acrylic finish on both sides of the case so you can access to the fins, their hinges and screws. When you turn on, look to see what makes your 2 flippers paste. If you need to, "help" take off. Command center can open, active evacuation, have CC open the fins and close once or twice. Do test for bonding. Usually, it comes down to the torque of the screw end, or the torque of the screws of the trim panel. Unless of course you can see what is the cause of bind, as an obstacle.

You can try back a little torque on the screws of the fin on the 2 fins that stick. Reinstall the screws to the appropriate if - couple when they return to normal. Retest w/Command Center, open/closed. If everything is fine, reinsert the finishing trim panels and reinstall the screws, but not too tight just yet. Repeat the test with the command center to open the closed fins. Usually, the screws from trim to finishing nearest you for what purpose clings is the culprit, then tighten or loosen based on the question whether one of these tips have helped. As long as the finishing pad screw is almost tight, it will keep the filling and not make the stick of fin...

Basically, remove your doors case, remove the upper trim, power and go from there...

  • Profile of Alienware Area - 51 ALX Intel XMP A10 does not work with DDR3 1600 MHz

I bought three Kingston 8 GB RAM DDR3 1600 MHz 240 pin DIMM that totals up to 24 GB of RAM and install in my desktop computer. When I turned on and the message appeared saying:

Maternal health and infant is running with DDR3 - 1333 MHz

WARNING! Previous overclocking failed, and system restore its default value. Press F1 to continue, F2 to enter Setup Menu

When I access the BIOS setting (version A10), I disabled XMP and then it went through fine after the reboot. However, I have to have XMP allow at any time? How can configure profile 1333 MHz to 1600 MHz XMP?

What bothers me is that I had three former PIN of Kingston 4 GB RAM DDR3 1600 MHz 240 DIMM which total up to 12 GB of RAM and the XMP worked very well with them before they were 1600 MHz.

The type of computer I have is:

    Alienware Area-51 ALX

    Intel Core i7 980 Extreme 6 c with 12 MB of Cache

    Windows 7 Ultimate

Please, help me to solve this problem. Thank you.

And I certainly don't have the answer, but I'll remember these points:

    1. I think that you can set manually nothing XMP adjustable (but with more control).

2 machines often memory need to be slowed down when you are near maximum capacity look maintenance manuals.

3 area-51 has never been tested or even allow the 8 GB DIMMs. You are in the new territories.

    4. If you really need 24 GB (and it works at 1333) then the 267 speed drop is insignificant.

  • Mother ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition in a matter of Alienware Area 51

I use an Alienware Area 51 case temporarily install my new system. The front panel connections are compatible with the ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition motherboard? I have no idea where to connect a power button on the motherboard receive the system to turn on. Thanks for any help anyone.

Assume that it is a case of Alienware base, trying to integrate into an Asus mthrbrd. I want to emphasize the use of a black base type USB connector 5 x 5, where the 8 wires are used, 2 slots are open.

You've been making photos & links to posts that show that the Asus boards use what amounts to a pair of 5 x 5, or a solid 10 x 10, imitated by the Q-connector. Mthrbrd Q-connect & Asus will be the printed text. If your son of façade are currently inside a type usb connector 5 x 5, like the photo above, you must identify the reset/pwr sw/pwr led/hdd led son:

    • pairs of son reset & pwr sw are not polarized +/-
    • HDD led/pwr led are polarized, you must obtain the + / conduit into the correct slots

I don't know how to tell another that, Mr President, rewire your façade according to the diagram below, using your choice connectors, 2 pins (as shown) or a pair of 5 x 5 usb-types or a solid 10 x 10

  • (Redirected) Speakers with an Alienware Area 51

I had crazy computer problems lately. A few friends put in place a computer for me and there were a lot of problems that I won't detail here, but it culminated with the motherboard is fried when I plugged in the speakers.  I finally gave up with home-built computer and ordered an Alienware Area 51 with a 1500w power supply. However, I am relics afraid to connect the speakers for fear of frying another card mother, though everyone tells me that what has happened is a stroke of luck and the other motherboard was faulty.  Right now I use a computer + 7 years, I had in the closet and the speakers work fine with it, and they also worked in my old computer, which was also an Alienware. My question is, is it possible that the speakers might be 'too powerful' or 'too high a power' to work on the computer that is on the right track? The speakers say they are 120-240 v, but I don't know how powerful they are. My future computer has a 1500w PSU and two GTX 970 graphics cards, but it seems that there should be a lot of power for speakers. Am I paranoid? Has anyone had the motherboard is fried by plugging in speakers?

  • (Redirected) Alienware Area 51 R2

I recently bought an Alienware Area 51 r2. Its been works like a charm, until recently. I have about 4 months and recently he shot himself. I push the power button to turn it off, and it turns on. Sometimes it's instantly, sometimes it's a few hours later. There is no model really. Is there a way to check it and see why it is light on its own?

Can what specific food I get? I don't want to buy one just to find doeant made. I know that the base line, one is 800w. It is very good for my setup at the moment. Any adjustment or is there a way I can buy the same as that which is used in the Tower alienware Dell but the aussie version? Or do I still need a new power supply? Will it work if I buy just a transformer and an adaptor dick smith?
