• Satellite L450D - weird load and power question

  I myself L450D that plays up a little bit. The main problem with it is that it can not be activated in without the battery being inserted. Once you make this portable tension each time. Without the battery it just flashes power after light spin a fan for a fraction of a second and do nothing else.

  Most of the time, when you turn it on it will start fine but is the ' power on ' off and battery light blinks slowly (light orange).   almost everytime I disconnect my charger magsafe, it cuts the power rather than switch to battery power my macbook pro, I did MSC resets, resets of vram and recently diagnosed

  error code I got from the trial of the aht has been ' 4xxx/6/40000005: 0... 'battery' '...

  I'm not sure what it actually means if its my battery or battery sensor etc...

  wondering if anyone knows how to solve my problem?

  Apart from this question my mac works perfectly fine running on the power adapter

  If you had Apple install the battery, it should have a one year warranty.  Make an appointment with an Apple store genius bar and have examined the MBP. Even out of warranty, the assessment will be free.

  I have a r4 alineware aurora model, but I can't find any information on the power supply PSU model is V9J6H and also, why do I this type of power supply instead of the w299g or the j556t that should come with all the alienware r4?

  In my opinion, you should contact the service because it can start diagnostic tests.
  For me, this looks like an electronic malfunction of power supply.
  If the laptop has been repaired it there a few days/weeks, so I guess that the guarantee is valid.

• A1: Power Question Widget

  It's a bad idea to have an event structure that contains code that takes a long time to run as the while loop inside the case in your situation.

  The issue started happening two days ago.  When I try to turn on the laptop, the power led lights up, the fan will start to blow, hard drive will start to spin and then everything suddenly, it turns off.  The screen remains black throughout the process.  All this happens in a period of 3-4 seconds and laptop computer repeat the process four times with attached AC adapter (with only battery attached, laptop once).  It won't start and join the BIOS, the laptop shuts down before that.   I tried several things so far.

  1 ram remove Glue one by one and replacement

  2 tried to remove the batteries and only the execution of the power adapter

  3. past autour where I used only the battery and no power adapter.

  4 taking battery and power adapter off and holding down the power buttong + 30 seconds

  5. Replace hard drive with another hard drive compatible.

  Now, I am at a loss on what to do.  Has anyone else had this type of problem? If anyone can help me, it be so awesome! Thank you in advance!

• Alienware 17 - questions of Port HDMI-IN/Out

  I have problems with my HDMI-IN and OUT port. Mainly, I want to be able to connect my ps3 to my Alienware. It does not work.

  I tested several cords; This issue has perhaps something to do with the laptop or the drivers. It does not detect anything.

  When I press FN + F9, I get a message "Please connect HDMI Input Device" even if its already connected and turned on.

  I also tried to connect another laptop and dvd player with HDMI output to HDMI-In on my Alienware 17 and it does not detect.

  I have carefully looked for solutions but only to find articles about the M17X. It is a new laptop and little has been reported previously.

  I really need help.

  Have you tried to uninstall and re install the video card driver? This could be a possible solution.

• Reference Dell place 11 Pro - load and power Question

  I have an i5 Vpro coming 11 Pro.  I also have the mobile keyboard. When I use them together power seems to draw everything first on the tablet.  I say mostly because the battery level drops faster than the mobile keyboard.  I searched the postings here and which seems contrary to what others have said, it is expected to be drawing from the battery first.

  If anyone can confirm this?

  I have the i5 VP11 Pro, 256 GB, 8 GB of RAM, and I use it with the mobile keyboard regularly. I am typing on right now. I can confirm that power is drawn from the keyboard first. In fact, mine will drain the keyboard up to 0% before application of the Tablet battery.

• XPS 8500 additional SATA Drive add...cable/power questions

  Nothing on sites Web of Dell (after two hours of seraching, including a chat with a Dell representative session) on how to add a hard drive from a dell computer. I'm simply confused (this happens regularly) it is difficult to find, or you really need to add a simple video on how to add an extra SATA (how many times people do that?).

  No info on cables, power supplies, how many readers you can add, etc.

  So this is the kind of thing I need... Thank you! How do I add a SATA, which cable does, esp if the slots for the cables are already taken by the BluRay player... can get a cable SATA outputs multiple?

  the manual referenced does not something specific on SATA wiring part I looked. Should not be too much of a pest, but do you have a specific reference.

  Yes, you can add an additional hard disk, the disk hard primary exsisting. to add several internal hard drives, you need an open 3.5"/5.25" bay and to install more than four SATA drives, SATA PCIe x 1 expansion card would be necessary.

  Turning on my U3014 power is behaving strangely and I wonder if I need to hire a return or is there something else I can do?

  While the PC is on, if I switch the monitor off I can not switch back on except if I power cycle it.

  Even weirder, if the monitor is turned off when the PC is started, it lights, but then I can't turn off, even after it turns off the PC.

  The monitor power cord must be connected directly to the socket while troubleshooting. Unplug the monitor all cables from the computer except for one DVI cable. Repeat the test.

• Touchpad Google Chrome Alienware 13 questions

  First of all, the touchpad works very well in all the other applications/system wide (so far) except Google Chrome.

  My synaptics (touchpad) settings have two fingers of reverse scrolling (scanning of 2 fingers to the bottom of page moves down). It works in all applications except Chrome who, for some reason, is scroll up the page when sliding it down. Also Chrome records strange keys and touchpad is erratic autour in Chrome.

  Chrome v41.0.2272.118 m and I think the touchpad drivers are up-to-date (from dell drivers website). Also, using version of Alienware 13 touchscreen (screen 1080 p).

  No matter who else knows this erratic behavior with Chrome and know a possible solution?

  Thanks for the link! Of these positions, they linked to this site that has a download link to a batch/regedit which adds in the controls of the gesture of firefox in chrome. It actually worked! I can now use my trackpad and scroll perfectly without weird places or hiccups as expected!

  I'm always a little irritated that I had to do it on a new machine, but at least it works now.

• (Redirected) Alienware Alpha question

  I bought this for my son for Christmas. Anyway, I ended up buying him the Xbox 1 as well. I want to hang the Alpha of its flat screen in his room, but also to a Dell 24 "monitor. The problem is that I see only 1 out HDMI on the Alpha.

  How connect both its flat screen and its monitor from the computer to the top at the same time? Some research shows that they offer a Powered HDMI splitter. Is this my only option?
