  I have a form map of comments or Satiscation survey I created by Adobe LiveCycle Designer and I need help... I want to use the 'Send e-mail' button BUT I don't want that it sent back to me in the form of data... There is a button they click for 1 to 5 satisfaction and a comment at the bottom of the form box, but I want the shape, not the xml data...

  So my plan was to use the advanced changes the tab tools on Adobe Acrobat Professional... Then use the link tool, I think he put a mask on top of the 'Send email' button and send me the completed return form... I have not tested this theory yet because the form is "safe" in PDF and I don't know how I can get my idea to work...

  I suspect that the form is "secure" seen in Acrobat, because you have set a password to open for when the formed is open in the designer of the LC. This applies security to the form (which also prevents a user to print to PDF).

  Even if the form doesn't have any security, you will not be able to use a form of LC Designer AcroForm tools. They are different animals!

  There is a solution, which is in a lot of posts on the forum. If you use a standard "button" instead of a button 'send e-mail', you can have JavaScript in the click event that might look like this:

  Submit custom PDF will ensure, you get the shape and not only the XML.

  When you develop in LC, it is best to make all the scripts in LC, rather than trying to adapt certain parts in format Acrobat (IMHO) ;-)

  Hello. I recently installed Office 2010 on a new HP Mini. Intermittently the sessions of Outlook there is a window "HP Tools Data partition cannot be found". To close this window, freeze Outlook - cannot display messages in the Panel overview, or read emails or links in emails.

  Is there a solution to this?

  Not sure if it is connected, but whenever Outlook is launched, a window on HP Quicklook Add - In installed is also.

  If you do not use the glance, you can uninstall Quick Look of your system that would solve the problem.

  Look: allows you to save valuable time by allowing you to view and edit your Microsoft Outlook data, including your email, calendar, contacts and information about the task, all without having to start your computer. Your changes are then automatically synchronized with your computer the next time it starts.

  NOTE: I don't know if this software is compatible with HP Mini...

• How to add validation rules - do not have access to data tools

  I would like to add a validation rule so that when import us data from Salesforce to Eloqua we provide are mobile phone numbers in the international format, in order to send SMS messages.  Oracle Help was given instructions to do this ()http://docs.oracle.com/cloud/latest/marketingcs_gs/OMCAA/index.html#Help/DataTools/DataTools.htm) but, it requires access to the "Information Tools" and pay more money.  Is there a way I can add a validation to otherwise rule?  Maybe using program Builder?

• Advanced vSphere Data Protection restore client connection fails

  Dear all,

  I have a problem with the Data Protection restore vSphere Client. Including the option advanced. If I use the option of database connection I can get to my saved VM and I can also restore a single file if I want to. If I want to use the advanced option (I don't want to install flash player on each server, thank you vmware!). Whenever I try to log in with my domain account and the account root POS I get the message "failed to connect vCenter username or incorrect password.

  I tried both with my domain account (which incidentally is a valid account, I can connect to POS with the vmware client). I know that the root account is good and the password as I can also connect to POS via the menu of the server vcenter5. I am also able to enter the configuration of POS with the root account. I've stopped and started services POS with the root account.

  I am at a loss. Someone has an idea?

  Credentials change requires a restart of the device and I saw the PW in a config file, so I think it's hardcoded.

  If you have changed, may be the cause of your problem.

• CS3: alignment of the Clone Stamp tool

  This has been me mad for years and I finally decided to post it here to see if I could get help.

  Imagine a photo of a wall against the horizon. Dead-level in the framework. There is a smutch at the intersection of the wall and the horizon, I want to clean up with the clone stamp. I use the sliders 'accurate', btw.

  So I pressed at the same intersection a little on the side of the smutch option. Once I did the crosshairs disappear to make things more difficult than they should be, but I move tool directly horizontally , and then click the center of the tool to the specific intersection.

  The tool sticks an image which is moved vertically by a number of pixels. No matter how to move tool when I click I can't get the hotspot of the tool on the ground where it should be.

  Why is this? Happens all the time. There must be something I am doing wrong.

  You can always press the option key to get line of sight again, then release the right of option before starting the cloning. So: Press option, reticle is just between the finger and the wall, click on to the bottom to get source. Press option again to get line of sight, move the tool horizontally and aim using crosshairs, OUTPUT option and start cloning.

  Also check out the clone source Panel (window > source of duplication). It has an overlay and the shift feature could be useful. You don't seem a prime candidate for the new preview of clone feature in CS4.

  I developed a script that determines the data but to automate the process more far, I need help with a strategy to select the starting point for packaging data.  I mean, is that I have a piece of raw data that say has 2 events, EV1 and EV2.

  Sometimes, when the data are acquired EV1 is performed first EV2 is performed, sometimes that ev2 is performed first and then EV1 is made, after the acquisition also sometimes only EV1 and EV2.

  I developed a script that processes my data but I have to compensate for a physical value in my script manual then the 'FIND()' function begins to look in the right place.

  I want to do is to have my script request to the user where the script should be considered a starting point for the script or if the part of the script is executed at all.

  Here's how I'm compensating the FIND()

  CtrlTimeVals (i) = Find ("Ch (L2)" > = R1 ', CtrlTimeVals(i-1) + 3537 ")

  RespTimeVals (i) = Find ("Ch (L4)" > = R2 ", RespTimeVals (i - 1) + 35400")

  I've just updated Illustrator CC to 19.2.0 on my MacBook Pro under OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 and all my boxes floating palettes/menu and the toolbar data are all empty boxes are transparent, allowing me to see the desktop behind them by about 50 percent. Also, all dialog boxes to save a document or Illustrator preferences, etc. all open totally empty, so I can't make adjustments to what it is. I've deleted preferences, restarted, Illustrator uninstalled and reinstalled, uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe CC, rebooted about 17 times more and no change at all. I can spend the workspaces and this doesn't change anything, either, nor is check or uncheck Application frame. I can't find anything in the forums to help me. This is ridiculous and I can't work, Please HELP.

  I tried to understand a few odd cross-browser issues before I run the application. Firefox, Safari, IE 8 and 9 look pretty good. But on IE 7, the text in the map area (box 1-15 below graphic "beta") starts too far to the right, pushing the text on a second line. Clues on what part of the code could be the problem? Looking for a place to start...

  In addition, the small arrow (currently under the H1 title) must be just above 'search' on the topic 'regional research. These two things work on other browsers, but not IE7.

  Although there are easy solutions (see my notes above) here is an argument, why you don't need to cry on a possible bad presentation in this IE7 browser. The use of IE7 becomes more rare. The spread is, statistics, show very very low. The attached analysis

• How can I fix the problem of odd crop tool?

  I have PS CS3 and you have encountered a weird problem with my tool of truncation. When I get a document using the custom crop tool, it ignores the 'limits', I created and instantly reduced my canvas 1 x 1 px!

  Any ideas what's happening?

  Currently, my solution to "bypass" is to use the Rectangle tool to make a selection of the region I want to crop and then I'm going to "Image > Crop.

  Not extremely critical, but it would be nice to just hit 'C', select the cropped area and press 'Enter' again!

  With the selected crop tool, take a look at the top bar, there is a place to enter an amount, if anything does not appear in these boxes of size, press the clear button to reset. Then try crop again.

  1. I make a program and I need to insert my data in SQL.

  Previously, I was using simple DB tools Insert Data.vi due to the one table involved. It was OK.

  In this case, I need to push about 8 groups of data inside the database every 5 seconds.

  I'm not sure on how I should wire VI if I use both 8.

  I tried connecting parallel connection open tools and a data tools insert series to another.

  What is the right way to do it? Please notify. I have attached the insertion of data in my program part.

  2. previously when I try to connect all the 8 in the series, the tracks of vi, however, it does not the data in the database. But when I stopped the VI and tried to run again, the code of error-2147217900 entrant. Can anyone advise on the reasons why it took place?

• Where is the tool data object in Acrobat DC?

  I've recently upgraded to Acrobat DC and impossible to find where the object data tool has moved. It used to be under Tools > analysis > object data tool. It was useful to identify objects in a GeoPDF. Here is a screenshot of the previous version.

  I'm still able to choose a polygon around the tree of the model in the updated version, but don't see how to click directly on the polygon to identify its attributes.

  Once you open the file in Acrobat DC. Either you click on the Tools tab and search for object, you will see this tool is in the "Measuring Instrument" category or you can click on the search box in top right "Search tool" and type the subject.

  You should be able to locate the tool.
