• Forms of Oracle tab page display problems.

  I use oracle forms 6i, I have two table of content and canvas illustrated tabs, but when I click on the field on Web content, disappears them from the Web by tabs. How to keep it on the form of content even if I click outside of the canvas by tabs?

  I've used show_view() to display my canvas by tabs in new_form_instance.

  Also the grid on the canvas tabs does not get filled I execute the query associated with it unless I click on the first item in the tab page.

  If your tabs in canvas will always be visible on the canvas of content I found it easier to open the Web content in the Web Editor and simply pull the canvas with the table of Contents tab.  This will cause usually forms automatically display the tabs in canvas on the fabric contained without code.  However, if this does not work you can always use the built-in SHOW_VIEW() or built-in SET_VIEW_PROPERTY().  On the thing you must make sure that your canvas of tabs is not appear in any other article that is displayed on the dashboard of your content.  In this situation, when you browse back to table of contents forms will display contained canvas 'Face' of your tabs in canvas because there are visible elements in the same location as your canvas by tabs.

  First you must create the entity object and view your DB Table required object.

  Add this point of view in AppModule. It will be published under the control of data.

  Drag and drop this point of view on your page. then select the shape-> shape of the ADF.

• Call Oracle ADF Forms - refresh problem makes it unusable!

  I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.4.0 and I need to call a form of Oracle (10g of form) inside my ADF application. I did exactly what is explained in the Oracle documentation at this link

  and it works very well. I put the code within a region which lies in a page of tabs in my ADF application. The problem is that do EVERYTHING outside this form (tab page change, press a button,...) makes the page refresh and my form resets (in fact, this is the applet which reloads).

  How can I avoid this? Is it possible to make the form stay alive, even trigger events of the ADF? As it is now launching a form inside the ADF is completely useless.

  I posted this question also in the JDeveloper forum, but no answer then perhaps someone here can help you.

  Shaped 11g, you can set the following parameter in the server configuration file Forms formsweb.cfg 'legacy_lifecycle = true', which will prevent the applet restart when the ADF pages are between the loading of the page. However, I don't know if it exists in the form of 10g. Give it a try.

• Oracle ADF Form Data was not added to DB.

  I created a VO(I have given Updatable:Always and i have checked in source that IsUpdateable="true") based query and added that in the morning, I created a form with CreateInsert operation ADF, when click button CreateInsert he created an empty form.
  After be the Date in this field empty, when I click on the button of validation Data is not recording in DB.
  After that,.
  I appointed a Readonly array with the iterator, when I click "Commit" it was seedlings that are adding data to the New line in this Table Readonly, but when I was checking in DB, The Data is not added to DB
  I use 11.1.2.3.0 version jdeveloper.

  You're wrong on a conceptual level. A VO based on a query is not insert/update/delete all DB data. You create a VO based on the entity, if you want to make insertion/update / deletion of data in DB.

  When you run a commit on an AM operation, he finds objects of entity created/modified/deleted, and then performs the corresponding DML operations on DB. (In fact, DML operations are performed by objects of entity. Is there is no entity object, then there is no DML operation). If your VO is not based on the entity (but based on a query), you have not all ADF created/modified/deleted entities, so there are noted for the outcrop of the DB.

  The property 'Can' of the VO attribute controls whether VO should allow entry of data or the modification of these attributes in memory. You can have the basic attributes other than the entities that are marked as "editable" (for example, transient attributes store temporary values in memory), but this does not mean that these attributes will be emptied to DB.

  You've seen the data in the table read-only, because it is based on the VO even and it displays the newly created line, which is in memory.

• error on service cloud oracle adf application deployment

  Hello, I hv saved cloud oracle java and database service. I hv created adf simple application in which there are 2 jsf pages only linked together. I m using oracle jdeveloper 11 g 2. so I hv created file ear for deployment in the cloud. I have deployed adf the cloud using the java console application. But after downloading applications, deployment failed. I tried 3 times, but the result was the same. I checked the logs, I got 3 warnings in the whitelist log and error in deploy newspaper.   Well hosting Cloud Oracle ADF applications is for the ADF * 11.1.1-then you will not be able to deploy an application developed with * 11.1.2 thereon.
  If you don't want to revert to the version support for JDeveloper, I suggest that you look in the other accommodation options.

  My question is what is the purpose of the forms_ie.js, should use us it when we do not run with the standard models htm and if we should how I change my code to include the latter.

  The reason why the java script (js) files have been added was the result of a change being implemented by browser vendors (Microsoft in this case). Without going into deep detail, the addition of these files was necessary in order to obtain the forms applet to load after that some restrictions have been added to IE. It was suggested that restrictions that cause once the need for these files has been deleted or modified. As a result, he peut+ _ be possible to remove these files and their references.  Oracle is looking into this possibility, but currently has not completed any formal test to prove if they are no longer needed.

  Feel free to remove them and make the appropriate changes to the corresponding model html files. Test drive it and let us know what you find. ;)

  ADF is built for the development team. Features such as the ADF libraries, bounded task flows and nested application modules allow developers to work on separate parts of the project and then merge them into a single application.
