Alignment Page HP PSC1315 prints every time the printer is turned on

It's VERY frustrating.  After installing a printer driver updated to my new Win7 system and installation new black ink cartridge in the printer dang prints the alignment Page, whenever I turn it on!  I have "lined up" it several times and yet HP insists to waste my (money for waste of ink and paper) green, even though I followed the software and the instructions on the page to test several times!  Help!  It is rather ironic, given my brand new printing software (wow that download was enormous: no doubt inflate more software) has a button how to be green at the top right!

I've been a supporter of long standing of HP that buying the products of your printer for many years, but unless this is resolved soon, I'll go out and spend double what price this printer and return the money to your Kumite.  This is intolerable!  I do not think that your software help consider even this oversight, oh, but I see that I can click on a convenient button HP purchase!  Furthermore, I'm not some neophyte with computers, I built this pc and many others before it.

signed... Frustrated!

Hello

Have you tried that?

1 turn the printer off and wait ten seconds. Turn it back on.

2. let the printer print test page.

3. when the test page prints, unplug the USB cable that connects to the printer to your computer. Not turn off the printer and unplug the cable.

4. place the test page to the glass of the scanner and press the SCAN button on the printer control panel. The indicator light flashes while the page is being analyzed.

5 remove the test page when the indicator light stops flashing.

6. turn the printer off and wait another ten seconds.  Now you can turn it back on it.

It is no longer printing test pages?

Now, you can reconnect the USB between PC and the printer cable.

Please post your results.

Kind regards
ERICO

  • Pro8000 prints the alignment page after each print job

I replaced by a black ink cartridge and printed an alignment page and did a print head cleaning. Now, an alignment page prints after each print job and cycling the printer off, then on. I turned off the printer and unplugged the printer and restarted the computer and still get the same results. I then took each cartridge and reinstall each cartridge and still the same results. I reinstalled the old ink cartridges and still the same results. Running out of paper, maybe cut down another tree. Any help would be apprecaited.

    Hi tommy61944,

I understand that you have a 8000 Officejet Pro which prints an alignment page after each print job. I'm sorry to hear what is happening, but I'll certainly do my best to help you.

I would suggest you have a look through this Alignment Page printed each print task, specifically the three Solution: print and evaluate a page impression diagnostic quality. Fact the print look page like the one in Figure 10: print a Page of Diagnostics quality? If not, that's why it keeps printing an alignment, a color can be print not correctly, or will need to be replaced. If your ink levels is all good, so maybe it's the printhead (s). You can clean the print heads manually and remove any buildup that could cause problems.

Hope this helps, have a nice day!

  • is this a correct way to write data every time the loop is executed?

I created a VI, and my goal is to save data every time the loop is executed. So far, I only learned to write binary file... I wish I could write numeric value directly...

The only problem is that I am not if my method is correct, because I'm afraid that each time that the loop is executed, the previous binary data will be replaced... I don't want that occur.

Do you think that my logic is appropriate in what concerns the registration data?

    Thank you!

Your logic is fine. You replace data because the file pointer will be that your data is written. If your program stops, and then you restart, and you want the data to add to the file, you can use the file value position VI and the pointer value 0 bytes of the end. set this position once, after you open the file (so out of the loop) and then data will be added.

If what you mean by "write a number directly," is to write something in a human newsfeeds format, you can use writing to text file instead of writing to a binary file. Then, use the VI format string or fractional number string VI to convert your double into a string and write it.

  • Permanetely avoid pop bing upward at the bottom of the page, not just close every time that the page is re-open.

I hate this F * KIN bing pop up at the bottom of the MSN.com page and you want to permanently delete it, not just 'close' every time that the page is re-open. I have Windows 7 and would like to know how to do it. I'm not familiar with how to change the script or procedure to do. I Ad Block more and do not know what line of 'block' in filters. Help!

I use Firefox 21.0 and like MSN.com (except the cursed bing pop up) as home page.

The site requires cookies to store your preferences. If you accept cookies from msn.com, then the search bar disappears for good after clicking on the link close [x] .

If you want to block the search bar in Adblock Plus, put the following filter group "My masking Rules.

    msn.com##div#ls1[class="co4b2 cf co coa2 coc1 m3 ls1"]
  • Why I get every time the page "it's embarrassing," I open Firefox? How can I make them disappear?

Every time I open Firefox I get a display box window and then last site I visited with a message "it's embarrassing," and telling me to close tabs. There are no tabs opened, so there are no tabs to close, I just opened and have not done anything. I tried making sure to hit 'home' after I finished and the closure of the start page, but it still happens. Please tell me what I can do so that it opens correctly. Thank you.

A possible cause is that you first close all Firefox Windows and then close the Firefox application.

Some noted that closing of Firefox (Firefox > Quit) while the browser window is always open works for them.

If this does not always correctly, then you can consider to disable crash recovery, but note that you will lose the tabs open in case a real crash.

  • Right align page numbers which is found to the left of the table of contents entries

I posted a similar question a while ago I think that substances or Peter replied, but darn if I can find the thread. At that time, they provided a script that does a GREP search, find a sentence that starts with a number and its replacement by a tab. I still have the script, but for some reason, it does not properly with my new table of contents page layout. It must insert a tab on the left page number (page numbers are to the left table of contents entries) and force the numbers right aligned so that a single-digit right page number aligns with the right edge of a two-digit page number.

    Find: ^ (\d+)
    Change to the: \t$1

What is happening in the new table of contents, this is the script is a figure and inserts a tab to the left of the page number. Page numbers are moving to the right, but they do not align right. They are further to the right, but they themselves numbers correspond to the left.

I'm puzzled as to why the script does not work on this new layout. Now I use CS4 and it still works on the former route. Nothing terribly different about the new layout except that the column is much closer, and there are several columns threaded in the TOC instead of a long column and the chapter titles do not have page numbers (but all other entries have page numbers.)

We should probably set the tabulator in your paragraph style: a tab aligned right for the numbers, followed by a tab stop that is aligned to the left to the text that follows this number. (I guess that there is a tab after the number.)

  • Blue system_service_exception screen every time the system starts

    Okay, so here's the deal:

2 days ago I decided to try an Oculus Rift DK2, it did not work (most likely) because I use a laptop that has an integrated graphics card and a dedicated graphics card, so I decided to restart the computer and attempt to disable the onboard via the BIOS and see if that fixes the problem. Given that I've never used the BIOS on a Windows 8, I could not enter the first attempt and made a normal reboot instead. I tried again and finally reboot force reboot of the machine before it had properly started. I looked at the BIOS successfully, but to my great disappointment, Asus (maker of my laptop) had decided not to include this option in the BIOS, so I exit the BIOS without making any changes.

(This is where the fun begins the part)

OK, so after I came back my computer BIOS (without applied modification), began as usual, but after the screen with blue logo of Windows 8 start, he has encountered an unrecoverable error. The error said that the machine collects data for the error report and that the ID of the error is «SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION» This is all the information that I received from her.

When he was made the collection of data, it restarted the machine, but instead of a regular boot sequence, it went through a process of diagnosis of some sort. It prompted me whether or not I wanted to go back to a system restore point, or if I want to cancel (do not know what cancel was referring to). I pressed cancel and waited about an hour, as it was stuck on the screen of Windows 8 logo, but he had no orbs rotation as it does on the normal start screen. After that, I had an another command prompt where it says that automated repairs had failed and that I have a couple of other troubleshooting options, including a reboot in safe mode. It starts in mode safe fine without any problem. In fact, I use it now.

Here's what I've tried so far:

    • I checked if the error can be caused by Windows updates.
    • I diagnosed my hard drives.
    • I reinstalled my dedicated GPU drivers.
    • I tried to reload twice in safe mode to "clean up the start state.
    • Digitized machine for virus/malware

No such action had no effect on the problem. It happens again every time that I reboot (outside of these times when it restarts automatically in diagnostic mode)

I don't know what I can do to solve this problem.

  • HP Deskjet 3070 disconnects every time the computer is restarted

Whenever I turn on my computer my HP Deskject 3070 is always offline. (The printer is turned on at this point and the works of the other Windows XP Machines). I need to go into Control Panel and "add a new printer. The immidiatley Wizard find the printer and add it as a new printer, and I print to my heart's content. I am running Windows 8.1 64-bit with all the latest drivers. The printer is configured to always have the same IP address. Is there something that I am missing?

    Hi JBithell,

I understand that your printer and computer unplug whenever you restart your computer. Something you mentioned may haved helped me to identify the problem. You said that you add the printer via the Control Panel, I have the impression that you choose "Add Printer" at the top of the printers and devices window. You have the full feature software and driver installed? If no please use the HP Print installation wizard. The software will help the driver keep a continuous connection. If di you already have the software installed, please remove the printer and printers and add the printer using the installation of HP and the software program.

To open the Setup and the software, press the Windows Logo key to get to the boot screen and without clicking anything that this type, CV. Then click on the printer icon.

The installation screen and the software opens and you can click on connect a new printer.

Please let me know the results of this solution. Thank you.
