All my colors are turned to gray scale!

Don't know what happened here, but when I draw a rectangle or create text and try to fill in with any color, it fills with a shade of gray. I don't know how I enabled this "feature", but I need to go back to color mode. How can I do this?

I am referring to the FH color management settings in Preferences > colors > color
Management. It is quite possible that your color management settings are
corrupted. In order to fix it, it would be useful to know how you have defined.

If you leave FreeHand, remove the Preferences of FH file and restart FH, don't you
still having the same problem? The FH preferences file can be found here:

I think to (someone told me) for the video driver to uninstall and reinstall, but I don't know anything about. How can I locate my video driver and once I click on "Uninstall" I how then reinstall? pls help!

Thank you for your message.  Uninstalling and reinstalling the video driver will be the best first step in getting this issue resolved.  Before you remove your video driver, you will need to make sure that the manufacturer of your computer has your driver available for download.  Go to the Web site of the manufacturer of your computer and download/save the latest video driver for your computer.  Once you have saved this driver, you can proceed with the removal of the driver that is currently installed.  Below are the steps to remove:
Click 'Start' > right click on 'My computer' > select 'manage '.
    Select Device Manager.
Click the (+) sign next to "display adapters".
Below, you should see your video card information, right-click on the video card and select "Properties".
Select the "Driver" tab > click on "Uninstall" (this will remove the current driver)
You restart the computer > when the computer restarts, install new drivers > restart and test.
Please let us know if it did or did not solve your problem.
    See you soon

I think that it is a kind of fixing car I don't think :/ Thanks much for any help!

  • The colors are MESSED UP!  Help!

Today, I open lightroom and all my colors are terrible - all orange and yellow and black.

It's happened in Photoshop and I reset my preferences during loading, but I do not remember how to do it. Can someone please help and at least let me know why this is happening?Untitled.jpg

It looks like a monitor corrupt profile. Re-calibrate and postpone your monitor, if you have the equipment for that. If this is not the case, try to assign temporarily a sRGB color profile to your monitor to see if it is the cause. Another cause could be display drivers, but first try the calibration.

  • DOC ID color prints MOST of the items in gray scale.

Help, please.  I'm at the end of my rope.  Deadline looming.

I have an identity document which is of all colours.  When I go to print it, no matter if it is set to the color ID management or printer color management, most of the elements of the page out in gray scale.  It is a perfect representation of the document, only in grays.  Curiously, there are elements that print in color.  Even more strange, an object from a file will be printed in the perfect color, but HAVE another object of the same file in the same doc ID will be printed grey.

Everything is CMYK.  I even use Bridge for control of colors between the programs.  I can't understand this.

    Any advice?

    PS... you don't know it's important, but I print on a HP cp2025dn.  Windows 7.  CS5.

    Try a different printer.
