  Two reasons the most common for what you describe is disruption of the compacting process, (never touch anything until it's finished), or bloated folders. More about that below.

  Recovery methods:

  If you use XP/SP2 or SP3, and are fully patched, then you should have a backup of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin (or possibly the message store), copied as bak files.

  To restore a folder bak on the message store folder, first find the location of the message store.

  Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

  In Windows XP, the .dbx files are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.

  Close OE and in Windows Explorer, click on the dbx to the file missing or empty file, then drag it to the desktop. It can be deleted later once you have successfully restored the bak file. Minimize the message store.

  Open OE and, if the folder is missing, create a folder with the * exact * same name as the bak file you want to restore but without the .bak. For example: If the file is Saved.bak, the new folder should be named saved. Open the new folder, and then close OE. If the folder is there, but just empty, continue to the next step.

  First of all, check if there is a bak file already in the message. If there is, and you have removed the dbx file, go ahead and rename it in dbx.

  If it is not already in the message, open the trash and do a right-click on the file bak for the folder in question and click on restore. Open the message store up and replace the .bak by .dbx file extension. Close the message store and open OE. Messages must be in the folder.

  If messages are restored successfully, you can go ahead and delete the old dbx file that you moved to the desktop.
   
  If you have not then bak copies of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin:

  A general warning to help avoid this in the future:

  Do not archive mail in default OE folders. They finally are damaged. Create your own folders defined by the user for mail storage and move your mail to them. Empty the deleted items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 300 MB, and also empty as is possible to default folders.

It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages.   We have a desktop in JavaFX application. In this application, we design and implement the interface using SceneBuilder, so our windows are in the fxml code. To give a few functional parameters to nodes window, components, we have generic methods that load these settings from a database of information and give them to their components or the node. To do this, identify us each of these components using their identity cards:

  Using the previous version of JavaFX, this method getId() returned the fx:id specified in the fxml for this node. The problem for us is that the new version of JavaFX, dated Java8, send us the id of this item in the fxml, which is empty at the moment.

  Is it possible to get this fx:id, as before? Any other ideas apart from the copy of the fx:id the id of each fxml we have? (trust me we have a lot...).

  @pfurbacher is not that Node.getId () changed to features, it's that (probably) the changed FXMLLoader the feature.  If you do not explicitly set the id attribute in the FXML, but set the fx:id attribute, then what was once happen is that the charger set the id of the node to match the fx:id attribute.  Implicitly define the css of a component id is a feature not documented the FXMLLoader I remember the original creator of FXML display on these Forum threads a long time back (good luck using the search function of the forum to find this post ;-).  I have not tested lately, but the question of the origin of the poster, it seems that the FXMLLoader is no longer works that way.  It's an unfortunate change of behavior in my opinion, because it makes them the FXML more verbose and less DRY leading to a greater chance of unnecessary errors, preventable such: "challenging brain as to why I can't find a node that has obviously a 'id' to realize that I think hurt"id"

  To 'restore' function, you need to create your own custom FXMLLoader class that defines the id implicitly.

  CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP FORMAT FOR DEVICE TYPE DISK to 'C:\oracle\flash_recovery_area\PROD\AUTOBACKUP\%d-%F ';
  CONFIGURE CHANNEL DEVICE TYPE DISK MAXPIECESIZE 2 G FORMAT 'C:\oracle\flash_recovery_area\PROD\BACKUPSET\%d-%T-%U ';

  When you specify a FORMAT, Oracle takes this format as the backup location. It may happen to be physically identical to your FRA, but it is not logically the same as your FRA.
  A BACKUP RECOVERY AREA is not 'find' these backups because they are not logically in the FRA.

  You will also find that Oracle automatic management of the FRA (where it automatically removes OBSOLETE etc backups) will not work against these backuppieces - once again, because they are "not in the FRA.

  A good backup RMAN that goes to the FRA relies on 'db_recovery_file_dest' (and "db_recovery_file_dest_size"). This is set up, a simple "BACKUP DATABASE" (or "BACKUP AS COMPRESS BACKUPSET DATABASE") will create BackupSets in the FRA. It will automatically create the appropriate folder structure (each day is a new folder). Controlfile AutoBackups, too, should use the FRA.

  If your on simple click to open, what you have to do is (dot) in the file.

  Click to open, tap Select.

  If you want to change this setting go to your libraries you are interested in, click on organize in the upper left corner, and select the folders and search options, general tab, change to double click, save.
