• CS4 all apps are broken when opening and Mac cannot recognize the installation CD to reinstall.

  A PC virus are not likely a Mac. I don't even have anti-virus software.

  because the software does not work in an account there are 2 possibilities. We know its not corrupted prefs because a new account did not work. We not have some other corruption in the user account. so we narrowed it down to the software or the operating system. If it was the applications one or two of them should work. so I'd say it's something to do with the system.

  My next step would be to do an Archive and install of the operating system then update. In this way, you keep all your settings and applications but install a new system and a user account. If that's not it I would reinstall the Creative Suite.

  Restart your computer and restart the Safari application. You could also erase history & data website via Safari preferences.

  Working on an iMac with Photoshop CS6 and have been for some time, but I must have done something strange lately without knowing it, because ALL OF MY KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS are broken.  Undo is 'command + ≠'... is so copy, cut and paste (and any other shortcut of 2 keys).  All 3 shortcuts keys "shift + command + ≠".  Suffice it to say, none of them work.  I went in several times keyboard shortcuts to change manually, but manual changes did not work; I rebooted, reloaded by default and also tried the plugin 'whiteWindowWorkaround', but nothing worked.  Has anyone had this problem before and fixed it?  I really miss having shortcuts.

  

  You mentioned "topped up by default", this means it that you are trying to reset the preferences file? If not, press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Opt + shift as you start Photoshop start. Select 'Yes' when asked if you want to continue with reset.

• All the icons and shortcuts are gone from my computer screen.

  I down loaded a wiget google today and subsequently, I have experienced this problem. All my programs and all shortcuts are availble by Explorer and open the folder deshtop. They work very well, but the computer screen does not display them. When I opened the they seem normal, so it doesn't seem to be a problem with the monitor. When I try to drag or send to, or save, I get a message that says that they cannot be sent to their current location. The computer knows that they are in the file offers / office but don't show them on the screen. I have add / remove programs but no change. I sent a file that was in a different place and it went in the desktop folder but not on the screen. It's like there's a toggle to see the show/don ' t somewhere. There is no corruption in the programs or files. Thank you for any advise you can give.

  Attached to this day! I was able to run the restore and the date prior to the event. Only problem was Norton, I had to uninstall and re-installed but now works perfectly!

  Follow these steps and check if they help.

  Step 1:

  I would say you rebuild the icon cache and check if the problem persists.

  a. press the keyboard Windows logo key combination + R to bring up the Run dialog box.
  b. type cmd and press ENTER to open the command prompt window.
  c. in the command prompt window, type the following commands pressing ENTER after each line:
  Taskkill /f /im explorer.exe
  attrib-h "%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\IconCache.db.
  del "%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\IconCache.db.
  Explorer.exe

  d. this restart Windows Explorer and rebuild the cache icons as needed.

  If you clicked the Cancel button right after the import, then you u did import. If the REFO option is available, click on it.

  Why you use a server to a workstation?  Or are you?

  I'm guessing you have the SBS and other workstations and a roaming profile and log off when you connect in the SBS, return and then log in to a workstation that has made requests to your shortcuts are - you find them broken?

  If the answer is "Yes" - connect to a computer first to get your profile.  Then log in to the SBS and make sure the latest system, you log on that is the workstation - this way your shortcuts should remain intact.

  If resolve you paths to the correct file locations in your Template.dwt it should work.

  It's probably a problem really noobish. I worked with happiness on Dreamweaver CS3 all day and had no problems.

  Just went to a new html page and when the copy on Divs and containers that contain images, images are broken, despite the situation does not change. My other pages with the same images show no broken links, no more. If I replace the image with itself, it works, however I have a lot of pictures and they don't always click in the exact spot that I would like, in the first place so copy/paste. The worst it is until I made this page on that it was not broken for everything else I was working!

  I'll have to duplicate the pages instead, which is not really useful.

  I am not trained in coding, I'm a designer and I want to keep this site as simple as possible, as I manage all this. My knowledge is limited to modest amounts of html and CSS.
