Dears
I develop a standalone application using sbRIO (with RT VI and VI FPGA) and logging data to a host (Host VI) PC...
the fact is that I need my RT goal to detect if a LAN disconnect has occurred (for example the host pc crashed), he should do a collection of certain data until the connection to the local network is retrieved...
I don't know if there is something similar to ping between the RT and the host which is done periodically to check the connectivity?

The operating risk is quite minimal.
Not quite true. iSCSI and NFS protocols are clear! So, it would be possible to do a number of things (ARP Cache poisoning comes to mind) to allow the storage of data flow to a compromised host. A colleague recently made a demo just that. It's actually pretty trivial to do with the right tools.

AdobePDF.dll is in the file Data1.cab. Mine is located in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Acrobat8\Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional\ You need to extract the file "AdobePDF.dll_64" from the .cab file. You can do this with WinZip or 7-Zip. Everything you need to extract is this file, nothing else... Once you have extracted it, remove the _64, so the name of the file is AdobePDF.dll. Satellite Pro U300: Error Message: cable is disconnected, but Lan cable is connected

I have problem with interface ethernet (wired) in my Satellite Pro U300. I use in many places (home, office, customers) and when I restore in sleep or hibernation mode interface ethernet shows that the * cable is disconnected *, despite the connection of the cable * is * connected and works perfectly with all other devices, laptops and PC.
The switch also shows that the there no signal link. But re - activate the malfunctioning ethernet port, just disable the ethernet interface and then after 5s (1 s is too short!) turn on.
Then a baloon in taskbar window indicates that there are 10 Mbit/s link, but actually, the link works at 100 Mbps (I can see it in the connection status window and the ethernet LEDs switch). This is the only laptop that has this kind of problems.
I have the latest version of the installed ethernet 5.664.205.2007 driver on Win XP SP2.

Windows xp on te2000 cannot detect the wireless LAN card
I have a portable te2000 that the wireless lan card is detected as PCMCIA MTD-0002.
I downloaded the drivers, but once again I installed windows will not use it. I get the error code 10.How can I make it work?
The wireless port is enabled, but it has an orange light (not green) no idea why?

I connected a cRIO-9073 to my computer and connected to my LabVIEW project. I downloaded the software to it and configure it to scan mode. It is, whenever I connect to it in LabVIEW, it disconnects after only 3 minutes exactly. I did nothing at all with it, to make it work, no program or whatever it is. Y at - it software it is absent, is there some configuration details, I am missing or is this possible?

I found the solution to the problem.
When I format it and install the software on the cRIO-9073 from a computer win Win 7 (64 bit) the communication problem is present. When I install the same software on a computer with Win - XP (32 bit), the problem disappeared. The problem is reproducible.

Causing disconnections Windows LAN Client VPN service
Hello
I have a 4.8.01.0300 client installed on a machine WinXP SP2, speaking with a VPN3000 concentrator and its working very well through the VPN. My client complained however that when you use the machines with the client installed on their local network, they get notice of ongoing disconnection of their offline files and synchronize the failures. If manually stop us the service of cvpnd.exe, the problem goes away. Affecting the service manual and start the service instantly back again the issue.
Does anyone have this seen before or know a fix?

Please check if the dynamic firewall is enabled or disabled. Please make sure that it is disabled. To check, the client VPN application and goto startup options. You should see Stateful firewall. It must be unchecked.
