Today, after I turned on my dev alpha device I've seen this screen, I could not get into the operating system, what to do? ALSE satisfy everybody do this?

Others have had this problem this week.

What has worked for others is to close and restart your DevAlpha device, and the message must clean up.

Some had to do this several times.

Don't forget, these devices have been set for a 'dead' date which was extended until the end of this year.

I'm trying to get a token of debugging on my dev alpha device and it just cannot work. I can create, validate, and install the token, but it generates an error: debugging token is not valid. Or not applicable for this device.

I just restarted the device. It is currently 21:26 according to my computer clock and the BB10 clock is synchronized with the clock of my computer... it of doesn't look right... the listed start time is 5 minutes in the future.

    Here's what I did.

Any ideas to know what could be the problem here?

    Thank you

    Rod,

I had the same problem with my alpha chips and debug dev. Setting date/time is the source of the problem.

    Here is the fix:

    • The mode of development
    • Set your date/time to June or the date in the past.
    • Check your token security and debugging
    • Debugging token becomes valid

      My date is June 25

Let me know if this solution worked for you! Worked for me.

  • Q10 issue: call BlackBerry World

I'm trying to make a link to our page of Blackberry World of Q10 application vendor. It works on Z10 correctly but Q10 begins the World of Blackberry app and shows a black screen.

    I invoke with: appworld://vendor/

    Any idea?

You have applications that are supported currently Dev Alpha C or Q10, out in the world of BlackBerry? I imagine that the Alpha C and Q10 Dev will filter applications that are not built/released for them.

In my app, I see my name of the seller and a back (with a black screen between the 2) button when I open my page of the seller in the world of BlackBerry on the Dev C Alpha, but I see all my apps when I open on the Z10.  My applications do not yet support the Dev C or Q10 Alpha.

  • Selection of the target profile?

I use win 7-64. I have a Sony (Zeiss) 55 mm/1.8 ZA lens. Camera Sony Alpha 7R (full screen)

I start the Sony FE profile download and select the lens. Normally, it works well and Lightroom comes automatically with the correct target/profile.

Sometimes I download new photo (exactly like I always do) and the selection of Sony FE lens is not found. Only Sony and automatically zoom is selected and nothing else is available to choose. That's why Lightroom automatically select the lens bad nothing else is available, while most of the time it works perfectly and nothing changed in the download procedure.

    Any solution, bug?

Yes indeed, the answer is very simple, but someone needs to put you on the right track! Thank you for that.

    I'll look into the details.

For what is Hasselblad is I look further. I can build my own one, but it is very difficult to make a good calibration, particularly on extreme good lenses like Zeiss from Hasselblad lenses.

In any case, I'm happy to close this call.

  • Mask for some frames?

I wish I had a mask only for a time on my images. I mean, it's... I have 30 seconds of footage, I want to leave say 10s and 15s to see that some of my images, the rest when I want images unmasked. After this point, I don't want anything hidden more head room. How I managed to do this was by double-clicking on the rectangle tool (this mask set whole sequences). Can I use hold keyframes to change the mask at the desired time. Is there a way to say just After Effects to turn off the mask (see the sequence with no masks) on some images. Thank you

There are about a dozen ways I can think of to achieve your goal.

    1. Use the track matte and simply animate the opacity. You could use a duplicate of your images with a mask or just draw a shape layer.
    2. Put two masks on your film. The first would be created by selecting the film layer and double click on the rectangle tool. The second mask will be drawn to hide the box allowing you to hide or show. Then the mask modes would be possible to assign to add and animate you the opacity of the rectangular mask.
    3. Draw a mask and then animate mask expansion. This would give a nice effect if you also anime feather mask as the expanded mask.
    4. Use Effects > channels > presets and animate Alpha Set of Alpha to full
    5. Use Effects > channels > channel shift and animate take Alpha's Alpha to full
    6. If you use CC 2014 you could use effect > channels > presets with alpha set to Off, then add an option of composition using the mask and animating the opacity

I could go on and. If there is no animation required for a mask I almost always use a matte. I find much easier to deal with for most of the projects.

  • Features of Alpha dev - am I missing something?

Listening to some sessions recorded at the BB Jam Americas, I wonder if Dev Alphas others are less limited than mine...  So, I just want to check:

    I'm under 10.0.9.388 - it's the latest build, right?

    I've got:

    • Contacts
    • Browser
    • Calendar
    • BBM
    • AppWorld (demo only)
    • Games (something to do with Scoreloop, I think)
    • Camera
    • Parameters
    • A 'coming soon' page where will be the hub

Everyone keeps raving about the predictive keyboard and I've seen the videos of him, but I do not have ' never get it on my DevAlpha - I can see and change the settings for the predictive keyboard in settings, but I never receive any predictions or self-corrections anywhere.

Only when everybody is - or y at - it something wrong with my camera?

(I'm just wondering, because with the announcement that the apps presented in October/November would preferentially star, it seems we should have everything that we need to apply the wonderfully integrated apps, they're asking for... but I'm not sure how I can invoke (& test) something that's not here yet.)

    Thank you

    Anna

My app: Get set - get up!   Get ready for the revolution snooze.

You have the game expected of applications.  10.0.9.388 includes all of the features that made a demo in the Keynote of conference BlackBerry Jam.  Some press saw the latest releases with the experience of a full keyboard as well.

  • BB Dev Alpha - another problem after security wipe

Initially, the unit has lost ability to connect on the computers (it's not recognized on any computer to which it was connected).

So I decided to do a security wipe. After the wipe whenever the phone tried to load the operating system, the progress has reached 100% and stopped. I downloaded the autoloader driver DevAlpha A / B 10.1.0.1485 and tried to reinstall the operating system with its help, but he refused to install with error messages "OS is not material", "this file does not match the device. Then, I downloaded an older version of dev alpha drivers (DevAlpha 10.0.10.263 autoloader), but he got the same errors.

After updating these attempts of the device reached the start progress 100%, then restarts, once and once more. Software link cannot start the firmware recovery process. It is also interesting that the device hardware ID is not listed here.

I have read a number of topics dealing with similar issues of DevAlpha on the support forums, but some of the solutions are outdated and others do not work for my device. Can someone give advice? Thank you

This means that you run z10 full os on your alpha dev b. To correctly flash has another version to it, make sure you download Z10 STL100-1 automatic loader, no Dev Alpha B one.

  • Video HTML5 don't play online on Dev Alpha after update to 10.9.9.339

Dev Alpha used to play HTML5 videos inline (similar to the PlayBook), which has helped some cool design if you were paying attention.

After the update to 10.9.9.339 videos are no longer play online (the device trying to play their full-screen and displays the video controls even if it has not been specified according to the HTML5 specification), and the layout is broken.

I wasn't able to find a way to force videos to play online as before, nobody knows how to do this on a device BB10?

  • Impossible to test in app dev alpha A

    Hello

I need to test in-app on my alpha dev A. I purchase followed all of the steps for testing in sandbox mode. But when I try to add the release that it does not show the option for alpha dev and so I get the "Not available for this device" message when trying to download app on app World sandbox mode.

I need to test in-app. How can I do?

I've just loaded Alpha-A Dev with the last external beta, 10.0.10.263 and was able to find and install downloaded applications only for Z10 models that dev Alpha was not as a device supported successfully.

After making the changes on the supplier portal, it may take up to 6 hours for those on the device because of caching.

Hi, I also have just got my alpha dev and having the same problem and fixed it.
There are two changes that I've made, so I do not know which set:
1 change the date, clock and time zone in your alpha camera to adapt to your computer
2 open the SDK software, choose the menu Run > Run configurations... > download tabs > Uninstall, then install...

I think that the first solution will solve this problem, but if not then try the second solution
