Alta UI: selector for components of deep venous thrombosis

Hi all

I am currently implementing a front-end using alta UI. I have some DVT components, I want to skin, but I am unable to find the correct selector.

It's the integrated popup to open when you move in a series that show the details (name / value in the series).

For some reason, in my interface user, the height of the popup takes all the space in my cursor to the bottom of the page so I want to clarify my custom height / width but I can'f find the CSS selector just to change that.

Can you help me?

Thank you

J.

The ToolTip, take up too much vertical space is a known but we intend to publish a patch for in the near future.

    Hello

    I am installing a GroupSpace community which also uses tools dynamic visitor (PST). I know that there is a bug where communities have not specified DISC and even when active DVT in their de.portal/.community file. I received code for a callback class that solved the problem for non-GroupSpace communities, but do not know how to change it to communities GroupSpace. Any guidance would be appreciated.

    TIA,
    AMT

    Hello, TN,

    I think that you need to do is to make your callback class extend the com.bea.apps.groupspace.security.GroupSpaceCallbackImpl class and make sure that all your callback class methods delegate to the upper class, having the necessary fix - up. Make sure that your new callback class is used instead of the GroupSpaceCallbackImpl class.

  • Deep URLS for venous thrombosis map: map

    We do a few prototypes with PST: maps. Currently in the COP, I put the URL mapviewer and geocoder as
    http://elocation.Oracle.com/MapViewer
    and
    http://elocation.Oracle.com/geocoder/gcServer.
    But, when the customer goes live, can they still use these URLS, or are they only for the objective test? I had these URLs to a tutorial.
    The customer must install the Oracle Spatial in their database (if they don't already have it) and on their application server Mapviewer application and point the URL mapviewer this local installation of MapViewer.
    In addition, if the data comes from Oracle Spatial, does that mean that the map data are not streamed on the internet and offline. How the customer will go to update the database space (say, a few years in the alley when the data may be potentially outdated.)?

    Thanks in advance

    You can identify the selectors required either by looking at the definitions of page templates and the region you use (Home > Application Builder > Application > shared components > models), or use a browser with a web inspector to display the source of the component when the application runs.

  • 4540 proBook s: need help for components choosing to upgrade.

    Given that I like much this laptop, it has a very good design, good durability and all that, I decided to use it until it breaks up what is unrecoverable. And because I use it for years, I thought to upgrade components. But there is one thing that keeps me, white list.

    Normally I buy a bunch of components and complain about here "WHY IT WORKS NOT HP * T' for each component that would not work, but I decided to ask you what components are in the whitelist so I can them carefully chosen.

    On my laptop, I can pass these things: CPU (plans to go for Core i7-3940XM), RAM (as much as possible), WLAN (any Intel with AC wireless card), SSD storage and use a disc HARD caddy to use the HARD drive. (who uses CD/DVD these days anyway? ) and screen (any IPS 1080 p with finishing screen mate, my current screen does not me, it's terrible.)

    So would anyone recommend me the components are whitlisted for this model? Or tell me how can I find out what components will work? Or if anything at least tell me if someone managed to recover a laptop (this model) via USB flash drive after a BIOS flash failure method, because I'll be playing with the white list, if I can't find the right components.

    Have you thought about what all of these components will cost?

    Anyway, here is the service manual for the 4540 s:

    Manual

    The top of the processor page seems to be an i5 - 3380M double heart and 8 GB of DDR3 - 1333 is the most memory you can install.

    There will be a white list of wifi and it is the only list of authorization. Compatible adapters are listed in the reference Guide. You must get the Ref. HP version of the map; not just one will not work. HPs are the hardest to try and install a hacked BIOS because there is a BIOS checksum block but go ahead. There is help out there if you look pretty hard.

    The SSD and installing a disc cart hard drive are certainly options. But by the time you match it all this you will be in the range of a new laptop, I think.

  • Read-ony selector for the visualization of the State?

    Hello

    I created a small sample QML application that uses a selector to display a list of steps. Basically, the idea is that the selector displays the current status, the previous state and the next (3 ranks) State. So more or less the selector is used to view the progress through a number of steps.

    For this I would need a read-only picker. The idea is that the current state of the selector will be transmitted by the application. The user should not be able to change the currently selected status.

    However, I tried a number of things like:

    -together enabled: false for the selector in QML.

    -disconnect() notecard for the switch in onCreationCompleted.

    has not been the unalterable selector. Any suggestions on how to create a read-only QML selector?

  • Scroller - this isn't mainly for components, applications?

  • Generation of images on the fly as a background for components

    I created an application which has a cursor number with a background image. I would like to change the background image on the slider based on its position (such as selected by the user) using a partial trigger.

    I was able to successfully update the background pictures if I have these images within my 'Web content' folder within my project in JDeveloper. Instead, I would like to be able to generate images as needed. These images are color gradients where the power of the gradient is based on the position of the thumb of the slider (as well as other variables defined by the user). Because there are a lot of different images that could possibly be created, I am looking to generate the images when running rather than to have hundreds of images stored somewhere.

    I'm trying to generate these images using a BufferedImage that I can then write to a file. The way I've been saving to is as follows:

    FacesContext fc = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();
    ServletContext sc = (ServletContext) fc.getExternalContext () .getContext ();
    String path = sc.getRealPath("/") + file name;

    I then create the file in the path and ImageIO allows you to write:

    File f = new File (path);
    ImageIO.write (bi, "png", f);

    I'm saving this file path in a variable in my grain of support that I then use my ADF page to enter the background image for the slider.

    Problem: when I run the page, my cursor doesn't have a background image.

    Looking at the location where the file should be saved, it is actually 'save' it in a file .war, which I don't think is appropriate (or possible, in fact). Is it possible that I can save it either on the server or the client side so that the customer can see the really bottom to update using the generated image? I'm almost certain that the path that I listed above is incorrect - if it is a correct approach to this problem, where would be a suitable place?

    Pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

    Rather than save the image to a file, why not use a Servlet to write the image on the flow of the Servlet response. Then, you do point the background image to the Servlet.

  • APEX mapping 5 (and extensions in general)

    Hello

    I am completely confused with APEX 5 graphics. APEX itself has 2 types of graphics - HTML and Flash ones, but the bundled sample applications came with the graphics plugin. If I open the components shared = > Plugins, I see there in 'All LINK' a link to http://apex.oracle.com/plugins , but if I open the link, I can't find a word here on these new cards (and other plugins as well). Are these plugins (I mean all the plugins used in packaged applications) officially supported by Oracle, they are here to stay with us and what type of cards are we supposed to use in new projects?

    In addition, Oracle Application Express management representation statement mentions of new graphics engine. This new mapping engine is compatible with these graphics plugin, is it really the same as graphics current plugin or what?

    Please, any info on APEX 5 plugins would be much appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Pavel

    Hello

    as did Oracle Open World and Oracle JET (http:/// www.oraclejet.org/) was finally announced, we are now able to provide more information about our new engine for creating charts in 5.1.

    As some of you already guessed it, we plan to use the components of the deep venous thrombosis (data visualization) of Oracle JET for our new charting engine. Take a look at Oracle JET - visualizations of data about how they look and what is possible. These maps provide many configuration options and we think they have a same set as AnyChart featured, but provide much better accessibility and delicate design. In addition DVT contains some types of graphics (for example, Polar and funnel) we have not supported by APEX but we intend to incorporate into the APEX 5.1.

    It is not our intention to expose all these options as declarative attributes in the Page Designer, as he would be to trace the way most developers of complicated. But experienced developers will be able to specify a function JavaScript for each region of chart customize settings. It is during initialization and loading the data and allows you to manipulate the JavaScript object that is used to initialized the graphic widget. See the documentation of the API at http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/jet/jsdocs/oj.ojChart.html for all of the possible settings supported by maps of deep venous thrombosis.

    We believe that this will provide a customization even better one of the XML attribute custom our AnyChart maps, because developers can stay declarative for most and just add the necessary advanced options with some simple JavaScript assignments.

    We also plan to improve the wizard to upgrade existing application to migrate existing chart AnyChart regions to the new type of chart area. Of course, it is not possible for charts with Custom XML. They will be treated the same as when migrating between AnyChart 3 and 5. Any statement settings are migrated and the custom XML will be put in the text of the comment.

    I hope that this provides more information about our future direction for the new graphics engine in APEX 5.1. #SafeHarbor: with all that said, our plans could change before APEX 5.1 is released.

    Concerning

    Patrick
