  I called Dell phone Support and they helped me solve the problem.

  Solution: -.

  Step 1 - updated BIOS to latest version

  Step 2 - before you install the AMD driver, install the Intel HD Graphics driver 4400 (most of people think that is not necessary because we have a dedicated external AMD card. "It was my mistake too). You can download it from Dell support.

  Step 3 - install AMD Radeon HD M 8670 driver

  And yeppy it works! Windows experience index has a flexible 6.5 for the games graphics on Win 7

  My laptop Toshiba Satellite C855-155 2 years, used to run the display driver AMD Radeon HD 7610 (V8.932.5.3000 January 20, 2012). Suddenly, it no longer works. Login screen looks scrambled. I can only start the laptop with the Standard VGA driver but the screen resolution is 1024 x 768 (not the 1366 x 768 normal) and no screen dimming, automatic off tension or sleep/hibernate functions is not working either.

  What do you recommend? Is it a hardware failure?

  Best test you can do is to back up all your important data and reinstall original recovery image and test your machine with the factory settings. If the problem persists it may be hardware related issue.

• AMD Radeon HD M 7970 driver issues

  Hello everyone,

  I recently did a clean install of Windows 7 on my Dell Alienware M17X R4 system. For this reason, I need to reinstall all my drivers. I used the resource CD that was supplied with my system and installed my chipset drivers, then my graphic drivers. However, during the installation of my driver for the AMD Radeon HD 7970 M graphics card, I have encountered a problem.

  When I click on 'Extract' to install the driver from the CD, all extracts and installs fine. My problem is after that I reboot my system. When I login to my account, a ball will Flash in the lower right of my screen (on the taskbar) that says something in the sense of "Installing driver" software of device A few seconds later, the ToolTip is displayed again and said something like "Device driver installation failed."

  When I click on the ball, I see that Windows Update has acquired the driver for my AMD card, but there is a red X next to "the unit is unplugged. I can't get the names of these correct; However, they always display the same intentions as if they were correct.

  Does this mean that I can't use my AMD card? And how could solve this problem? The last time I performed a clean installation of Windows, there was no problem to install the drivers for my system and then their update.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  You will need to install the Intel driver first and then install the AMD drivers. Please let me know if you need more assistance.

  Just bought a computer laptop g6-2235tx and took a glance at Windows 8 and decided to format the hard drive and reinstall Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.  Went to the site of HP and downloaded the drivers and they wouldn't install.  No problem, I'll use Google to find... after a lot of googling and downloading different packs pilot from various sources, I still can't install the 7670M Radeon HD driver and activate the hardware accelerated graphics.

  Someone out there in the world of HP, please point me in the right direction.  Return to Windows 8 is not an option because it sucks and I refuse to use it.  I need a pack of driver for this new laptop that works with Windows 7.

• AMD Radeon HD M 7730 not really work. I've seen this discussed much problem, but I have not found a solution.

  I'm running a 64-bit windows 7 Ultimate x (I have recently reinstalled windows, but he did not before).   By default, a computer with switchable graphics uses the integrated or energy conservation, GPU for most applications. The computer switches automatically to the discreet or high-performance GPU when an application requires more performance. You can configure the applications that require the GPU performance by selecting the application in the Catalyst Control Center software. When an application is configured to use the GPU high-performance computer rocking graphics solutions when the application is started or closed.

  I recently bought a new hard drive. I installed a windows 7 32 bit. Also, I have intalled the drivers needed (I've individually searched on HP support then download and install). but I seem to have a problem with my graphics card.

  In my device manager the AMD radeon HD 6400 M series has an icon to alert next to him. Although the Standard VGA graphics card (which was also on the map view tab) has no alert icon.

• Satellite L750D - update the driver AMD Radeon HD 6320

  Hello

  We have a L750D and we just went back to factory settings due to a failure of the operating system.
  Pre re install my wife used to run the software called studio silhouette on it without any problem.

  After re install the program is very slow / unresponsive and using most of the CPU.
  According to 'silhouette support' re install may have missed to the old graphics drivers (as we have updated their since 2011).

  Silhouette must clearly be the ability to Open GL to work properly (whatever that means!) and the old graphics drivers may not. Through a program called Speccy, I found this graphics driver amd radeon hd 6320.

  Anyone know if this pilot could be updated?

• Radeon AMD in Pavilion dv7 notebook driver problem

  I have a pavilion dv7 notebook and for a few months, I had problems with my graphics driver.

  It began with a notice that my license was expired, so I went on the AMD website and tried to install the update. I ran dxdiag to find tool that I use an AMD Radeon HD 6620 G graphics card. I could not find my product on the list to manually install the update, so I tried the Downloader tool from amd driver and he had a problem of recognition of my graphics card. I then tried to update with the help of Support HP and that seemed to work for a while.

  Yesterday my screen changed the lowest resolution and a notice came it was not recognizing my graphics driver. Yet once, I tried to update manually from the AMD Web site. When this does not work I downloaded the driver AMD Downloader and after installing everything he said is that "your computer does not contain a correct graphics card" and closed the program.

  I am lost at this point uterally, and any help would be greatly apreciated.

  AMD does not support the graphics system from HP to address personalized and won't provide any drivers for it. As a general rule, HP does not provide "routine maintenance" updates and usually only releases updates to fix known problems. You could take the computer to a professional, however they will be able to do anything more than I suggested and maybe even not so much than that.

  AMD download will not work because the switchable graphics function depends on your use of the software and custom HP updated the driver. Somewhere in the fine print in the AMD Download Center you'll see that in a disclaimer notice.

  Do not install the driver separately softpaqs Intel and AMD. This will cause the switchable graphics feature will no longer function.
