  I don't know that I read it on another topic on this forum. Now, I'm working with the old drivers HPs switchable graphics.

  1. Uninstall your current windows program & feature AMD/ATI driver.
  2. Download your driver assigned to the HP site.
  3. Click on install once you have it ready, until you see the ATI / AMD window to install the drivers, the closing and opening to complete the installation.
  4. go to your c: / drive driver, SwSetup, video "C:\SwSetup\Drivers\Video".
  5. Right-click on the setup.exe and go to the Compatibility tab set that it is compatible with windows 7.
  6. then simply click on run as administrator and start the installation.
  7. reset. and then right click on the desktop and 'name', you get your CCC and your rear switchable graphics, the version of windows 7

  I tested it and it worked, when I unplugged my AC adapter and they gave me the old message that I used to get Windows 7, asking me if I want to change the graphics to save

I want to ask Can I improve/replace my current graphics card AMD Radeon HD 8670 m to an AMD Radeon HD 8770 M when I read things on the AMD Radeon HD M 8770, all I get is the 8770M is better suited for laptop 13 inch or more. If it doesn't work for Dual Graphics what should I do? My Budget is about 100 + Dollar. I just really want to upgrade for my graphics today to a better because I want to play a H1Z1 called game and other games with graphics way and better performance. Also, do I need to change or get a new CPU, if I want to upgrade the graphics card 8770M? Please give me the best and the BEST answer.   It does not take a genius. The answer is simply not and the reason is that the video system is part of the motherboard. There is no upgrade slot, where you can just plug something better and different. With a laptop, you're stuck pretty well with what the factory put there.

  I recently bought a HP 15-110TX.

  Installed Windows 7 Professional 64

  Now, I tried to install AMD/Intel driver switchable from HP support web site, but it does not work.

  Tried to install sp72646 and sp72066, with no result.

  Driver for graphic card intel HD is not recognized and ATI Radeon is presented as does not not with code 43.

  In Device Manager, it shows up always also Standard VGA Graphics adapt.

  Tried to reinstall windows and upgrading the BIOS as well.

  Curent version of BIOS: Insyde F.11.

  Also tried to install generic as well as HP intel HD Graphics Driver and get the message that "this system does not meet the minimum requirements.

  Tried the catalyst of AMD so driver with no luck.

  Help, please. Thanks in advance.

  Installing generic drivers of Intel and AMD has solved the problem. The drivers on the HP site do not work. It is a shame that HP is unable to specify the correct drivers for its own products on their site.

  Use the W7 x 64 drivers of th is model g6.  For graphics, simply use the graphics driver AMD, Intel, not one.

  I have a HP ENVY AMD A10 - 6700 3.7 GHz APU with integrated graphics AMD Radeon 8670 D. I have 16 GB of RAM and a 300 Watt power supply. I am running windows 8.1, the machine is surprisingly fast and HD is decent integrated graphics have come a long way! I don't play games but don't watch much programming on my HDTV. So I wonder what would be the best graphics card which is $ 100 or less with what I have, I have a PCIe x 16 slot 2.0 I think. And please recommend a food FRO the card. Thanks in advance, josh

  You are welcome.  Thank you for the additional information.

  Your budget makes it a bit difficult to find a video card that would meet your needs.  However, here is a card which I think will do what you need.  Read the reviews to see what users have to say about it.  It requires only a power supply (PSU) 350W runs correctly.  So it's up to you, but you might try to see if it works with the existing PSU.  If you have problems with installation, see the guide I provided in my previous post carefully.

  Now, if you decide to buy a power supply, I love OCZ and Corsair.  They are passionate about quality for a good price.  The PSU is not the place to save money in a computer.  It is the backbone.  I suggest at least 500W.  This will give you some leeway for future updates.  The OCZ PSU's modular.  They are good in a smaller housing because you only use the cables needed.

  I haave recently bought a hp envy laptop 6, he has an incredible and amazing, but I had some problems to update my graphic drivers.

  Whenever I update my AMD driver, my driver Intel HD 4000 downgrades automatically and vice versa.

  I recently just upgraded them both, and yet my AMD radeon is not currently within the most recent update (there is a new update, and I'm afraid I'll downgrade my Intel Hd 4000 and not be able to restore it again), I'm sure that many have had this problem before.

  In addition, it came to my mind that there is no system settings advanced on the BIOS, I intend to increase my dedicated video memory (MORE memory graphics for games) using advanced on the BIOS, system settings but this option is not found, as always, any help would be appretiated.

  P.S: Hardware Hp are fascinating, but my ONLY hating on computers laptops (usually laptops) is the low GHz, with 5.9 side my laptop is incredible, and yet the 1.7 GHz is a disadvantage, once again your products are amazing, Dungeon it upward and give overheating issues a notice.

  ATI/Intel switchable graphics can simply due to the fact that you need a custom installation and a version of the CCC to control problems.

  The latest version of the HP that should work correctly is on the corresponding link below.

  Thanks for posting back.  It's a very good point you bring up.  The first thing you want to do before you make any changes with the hardware and software that can directly modify the functionality of the hardware is to set a Restore Point.  If you download the right drivers for your graphics first. Click here. Save the download of the driver on a memory stick.

  Once you have created a restore point, that's when we want to go and delete your video driver.

  Now, in doing this you want to go in safe mode with network.  I have not reduced the exact reason why the material disappears when this is done in the normal windows operations.  By safe mode, as you stand a better chance of any other software that can be to access the same files or registry entries that might cause things disappear.

  Here are some links to work with dealing with the video drivers in safe mode for troubleshooting.

  More information the better in this case.  It will give you a better understanding of what can happen during the process.

  NOW! One thing you want to protect is your good registry database that before starting any other stuff and you're in safe mode do after creating your restore point.

  Back up the registry!

  So basically:

  (1) create restore point.

  (2) save all important files.

  (3) create a backup of the registry.

  (4) boot safe.

  (5) uninstall the graphics driver from Device Manager. (This video is a big help)

  (6) restart the computer in normal startup of windows 7.

  (7) install the driver that you downloaded.

  You can ignore Microsoft updates or ANY update (from HP, Microsoft or AMD) for Intel video on your PC.

  The only factor that you can install on your laptop's driver AMD support for your laptop and driver page, which also installs the Intel video driver.

  The problem occurs because these automatic updates don't know that you have switchable graphics and it detects an older version of Intel video driver and wants to install a more recent version.

  The problem is the AMD driver on your PC support and driver page only supports the older Intel video driver and try to install will not work either or will mess up your video.

  No more, you can use any driver directly from AMD. None of those who have the necessary Intel driver for switchable graphics to work.

  So you can hide the update, ignore the update, some adjustment, you must choose to not see or install it.

  If you see a HP update specifically for AMD/Intel switchable graphics in your laptop computer, you can install that.

  Found a driver AMD on * amd official site * better than yours from this site. series 7600 M AMD Radeaon called and I hitted update driver from Device Manager and * boom * update 04/07/2014, compared to recommended that yours which is updated around * December 2013.

  So now everything works very well, and I thought that if I share this, maybe others will be required.

  Wanted for a long time for support of the drivers for the AMD Radeon 7400 M since I upgraded my DV7 Windows 8, but it doesn't seem to be something compatible - have I missed something? Or y at - it a solution for this? As this secondary graphic card was much stronger than the native Intel one and if I can't get the drivers for it support so it may be a deal breaker for Windows 8.
