• Play the Clip by Ampliifier

  I saw a few posts where people use amplifiers with clip. What kind of adapters, cords, the inputs of the amplifier would use if I wanted to do this? I have a boom box with RCA, stereo amplifiers, amplifiers for guitar line. Thought I would ask before I missed something to try. It would be convenient to listen through amplifier on occasion. I didn't know that a small device like the clip would work through large amplifier.

  ^^ That's all you need. 3.5 end plugged into your helmet, RCA plugs on the other end of the cable plugged in CD on your stereo or boom box. Just max your volume of Clip with the EQ on the normal and you're good to go.

• With the help of the volume envelope of the clip to amplify rather than mitigate them

  I tried to modify the envelope of volume of a clip in multitrack view, and I realized that the envelope volume really only allows of * mitigate * the volume of a clip throughout its duration, not * amplify * it. In other words, you can only add points on the envelope that are * sub * la + 0 dB line, which reduces the volume of so - many dB.

  Is there a way also vary the volume of a clip in the other direction, that is to amplify, in multitrack view?

  Probably because it's the limit defined by Adobe for this operation. If you need more than that, then probably you increase permanently the level of the file in the editing view.

  It seems, however, a workaround solution. If you have resized the clip to the maximum envelope, you right click and open the properties of the Clip, you will see that hearing has set the Volume of the Clip on the max of + 15dB. If you reset the fader on the 0 level, you can then go and resize the envelopes again. This can allow you to get the gain, you need. But, as mentioned above, if your levels are too low, in the first place, I would increase the level of the file permanently in the edit view.

• 5900 diff amp clipping to 11V

  I tried to measure an IEPE sensor (Simulator) released in parallel to the amplifier signal conditioner. Looking for a scope, I got on with a nice 2Vpp sine 12V bias.

  If I place a PXI 5922 with a PXI-5900 differential preamplifier for 40Vpp inputrange.

  I need to measure in DC mode. The output of the 5900 is clipping in connection 11V.  (CH + to report, CH-shortcut to GND). I tried a 5900...  all the same

  Another point: the reading input range gives me 160V... Oops bug?

  Another question: what is the output impedance of the 5900? 50 ohms?  It is not indicated in the specifications.

  Well, I think I found the solution for the clipping.

  And there's nothing wrong with the specification of the 5900, however, the definition of the commune of voltage range was missleading me.

  While the definition of "municipality" of the common voltage in a differential measurement is Vcm =(Vpos+Vneg)/2 "Common Voltage Range" is not the possible range of common blood, instead of the definition (by NEITHER?) I found here from the States:

  "The range of common mode voltage is defined as the oscillation of the admissible maximum voltage on each entry from the ground of the measuring system. Violating this constraint translates not only error measurement, but also of the possible damage to the components on the Board. »

• PCIe-6259 anallog effect of clipping (perhaps overvolting) on other analogously in the input channels?

  Curious to know if the cutting/possible ovevolting on one of the analog channels would affect the performance of other similar channels. I have two systems, one where signals don't clip and the other channels are still operable. The other has some problems of cutting (which fade eventually btw) on some of the ins anlog. One with the cutting on other channels are apparently unusable while those who did no cropping entry seems to be well.

  I seem to be affected by a situation in which hanging on an analog channel makes so that other analog channels do not work.

  Curious to know if I can see what is expected?

  We do not guarantee that all channels will work normally when you're in a State of fault/over-voltage.

  Since it is a MUX architecture'ed, that the channels are analyzed in order in the amplifier of shared instrumentation and ADC.  If the instrumentation amplifier is on track for channel 0 (for example), it will take some time to recover from this error after the next channel is enabled in.  This can cause a number of incorrect following channels (possibly indicated as being on track).

  Of course, we do not recommend to use this device in an error condition. When you said "analog channels does not" what do you mean?  The data on track?

  Some things that might help:

  -Slower sample which allows more time to settle the instrumentation amplifier

  -Skip the chain incriminated in the scan list

  -Make sure that the offending channel is set to the widest range of voltage (+/-10 v)

• 8 gb Sansa Clip play more hard

  The other day I went to play my Sansa Clip and noticed that the volume was not its usual volume.

  I immediately thought of the volume...

  He was already at its maximum volume?

  I usually play either this device through a pair of Sony headphones or my son amplifier (to play music and electronic together through).

  These TWO devices have the same problems - the MP3 player simply has not played at the high plus volume.

  I haven't played around with what anyone on the device, the Clip had a life good and safe, not been stamped on, thrown autour etc etc.

  In my view, it is guaranteed for one year, but I did keep the packaging, etc. - he bought off Amazon.co.uk.

  It was done by the rearmament of the factory settings and selecting North America (even if I'm in Europe) who turned my Sansa Clip love to produce that its very nice!

• Before I buy my sister a sansa clip

  Lately my sister thought about purchasong a new mp3, why? She wanted something small like the iPod Shuffle which can be attached to the collar of his canvas. However, the dilemma was between several actors:
  * The Sansa Clip (with all the hype media round her, how could I miss?)

  * Creative Zen Stone Plus
  * iPod Shuffle (I hate iPod but I heard he's a good player)

  One that I thought would be the better was the clip since Zen does not support Hebrew and since the shuffle is not at all a screen. However test one of the video for my friend made me realize: the output Volume is poor!

  I use Senheisser CX500 headphones, the thing about these headphones is that they need a lot of output to achieve volumes would need other (headphones Boxed/Cheap)... Affecting the High Volume and lift things in the EQ solved the problem (it actually blew my ears) for these music rock/metal/etc. However listening to the 'Stairway to Heaven' in a crowded bus would be impossible. In these cases my sansa view would giggle that I would raise even higher volume. The clip could not even show a "sorry" on the screen...

  I do not know the shuffle, but I now have the stone more (one of my friends has one with speaker) has a lot of output volume to play with, and before you buy her a player or the other I wanted to now if there is a firmware update or a specific model (maybe 4 GB clip) above the problem of volume output.

  Oh and BTW, she already has a pair of Senheisser CX500 as well and the idea is that she ould have a player who can cling on her necklace, so please, no 'buy these headphones' or 'buy an amplifier... He would miss the point...

  The firmware is periodically updated and improved.  I wasn't even my units before the firmware upgrade to the latest version, after purchase.  Even if there was a problem of release (which I doubt) upgraded to latest firmware would solve all of the problems have had previous versions.

  I can only speak as a happy consumer.  I have 4 Sandisk products: rockets from 2 to 8 GB and clips from 2 to 8 GB and the output is very good with all 4.

• Suggestion of cheap headphones for the clip

  I am the proud owner of a brand new Sansa clip 2 GB black. I love his sound, but I hear everywhere that the upgrade to better headphones make a world of difference. So my question for you guys:

  What headphones/IEMs would you recommend for use with the clip?

  My constraints are:

  1. I want to perform well unamped.

  2. my budget is certainly more than what I paid for the player. Preferably under $25.

  3. I have to listen to classic as well as a rock. I like the bass and treble are present in the right amount!

  Research, here are a few people have suggested

  a. Koss KSC 75 (do these jobs well UN-amplified?)

  b. creative EP-630 (I doubt it is the acute quality)

  c. JVC Marshmallow

  What would you suggest?

  I have KSC - 75... as you can see below in my "sig" and with the clamp and the rocket, no amp not required. I'm the same way... low is great, but not when he drowns everything else out, but too sharp is a bad thing too. They are very well balanced and who leaves the game EQ on 'normal' (your best bet unless your ' phones aren't very good) .the only preset EQ I use occasionally is "Jazz". (And the EQUALIZER custom drops overall volume a bit). The only downside to these ' phones is after 3 or 4 hours, they can become a little bit uncomfortable, being "clip - we"(outer ear). "" The stock buds are not that bad, a little light on the serious if I remember correctly, but I stopped using them because they wouldn't stay put... my ears apparently are not in the right shape to keep them in place. The KSC-75 were on clearance at Radio Shack for $5.47 recently, but is same, normally less than $20 online. In all honesty, I can't give advice on in-ear buds because they bother my ears. So enjoy your Clip with one that you end up being (I hang mine stereo all the time too)

• You can only amplify the noise above a certain threshold?

  I am trying to raise the floor of a topic that I interviewed in a video clip at an event where people are wandering around in the background. A simple amplification could raise his speech, but also the level of background noise.   Well, I won't be quite as inactive on the idea that my other two friends (and they'll probably be right and me wrong), but...

  It depends on how much improvement you want to put up with on the treatment plan.

  If you configure the effects/Amplitude effect and treatment of the Compression/dynamic a little bit like that, it will indeed start amplify all signals above - 12 (roll out slightly below 0) without touching the stuff below - 12.  If you want to be really drastic, you could add another point to the line and do the things under - 12 are slightly reduced.

  

  However, you will be using a set up as this can easily make the pump sound a bit and you may not like the sound.   I always suggest experimenting until you get the best combination of usable sound quality and an acceptable level of process objects.

• editing a clip in a sequence 23.976 29.97

  I'm editing demo a real friend in first Pro CC and I have a problem. All his clips are 23.976 (with a 1.2121 pixel aspect ratio) except one, which is 29.97 (with a 0.9091 pixel aspect ratio). Like most videos are 23.976, I use a sequence of 23.976. When I bring the 29.97 video in this sequence, it has a black box around the image and is a bit fragile. Is there a solution for implying no encoder or compressor or any other similar program (I currently have a little first Pro CC)? Thank you!

  The problem with the black box is the clamp dimensions and pixel format differs from the sequence; the difference in frame rate is not relevant to this question. You have three options that I can think of:

  1. keep even sequence settings and intensify the clip odd-man-out. This may cause unacceptable degradation in quality.
  2. keep even sequence settings and leave the weird clip to its native resolution. In this case, you can add a layer below with a color gradient or texture instead of having just it black
  3. Change sequence settings to match the weird clip and adjust all the other videos at this resolution. This should produce a better quality to amplify the music weird video, but will likely result in culture off the sides of all the clips in 16:9.

• Can I duplicate a Multicam clip?

  I have a multicam clip enough complex that FCPX don't sync too well, so I did most of it manually. Now it's done, I know it would have been much better if it was two separate blocking clips.

  To save all the hassle of syncing it yet once, I would like to duplicate the Multicam Clip and remove then off a beginning and the end of the other, so the duplicate clips should be completely independent of each other.

  It doesn't seem to be a way to duplicate in the browser of Multicam items (probably because they have the same links and changing one will affect the other).

  Is there a way to create an independent clip of MC duplicate?

  If you create a new library and move the multicam to the event in the new library must copy and allow you to independently change the original lib.

• How can I display the first image of a built-in clip?

  I prepare a presentation for my 10.11.16 retina, with Keynote 6.6.1 MacPro OSX. I want that it contains clips integrated to my films. I chose the simplest theme - plain black.  I drag and drop these Quicktime movies or .mov of iTunes to a new black slide in Keynnote.

  When I'm in mode Navigator or Light Table etc, what I see is a series of black images - although if I click with the mouse the video will play. How can I see the first frame of the movie, and don't forget that it will start when I move to the slide, so that I can see the order of presentation, or know what's coming?

  You see black because it is what is contained in the poster frame, which is the first frame of the video by default.

  To change the original image: click the video on the slide to select it, then go to: Inspector > Format > film

  either drag the corrector, or enter a number in the box, here I'v entered 4 seconds for the poster so frame the frame of departure:

  

• How can I change my clips still 406 in iMovie 10.1 to play longer

  I try to use iMovie 10.1 and cannot figure out how to do all the clips even longer. They are now less than a second. I changed the length in preferences, but that doesn't change anything. Help, please. I was very competent in IMOVIE 09...

  Changing preferences doesn't change the duration of still images alreadput in a project calendar.  What you can do is choose stills all affected in the timeline (click on it while pressing the command key) then clicking on information (little ' i' in a circle above Viewer), typing in the desired time and then pressing return.

  Simple click on the clock in the viewer and type in your departure time, then the return or enter key. Select a clip or title/generator and type the key "q". Your clip (or selection) will be added to the plot as a clip that is connected from the position of the read head.

  You can simply drag a clip over history (chronology) and while you drag, if the alignment feature is on, it will break at the playhead. If snapping is turned off, press the "n" key down and the clip will break at the playhead. (Slam will also jump to other borders as well, then press and hold n when you get close to your destination).

• Making clips composed of a browser-problem event

  I have been slow (1 hour or more) video on a go pro and import it in FCP to edit; my go splits pro 1 hour long video into several separate clips (usually 4), and after them get into final cut PRO, so I have to combine them into a single file once again, I am using compound of clips.  The fastest way to do it, I think, is to select clips in the browser of the event, right click and create a clip made up; However for some reason any when I do that one or more clips in the compound clip are generally reduced much, so I have to open the item in the timeline and restore clips concerned so that they are at their full length.  Anyone know why this is happening and how to prevent it?  I can work around it is but it is annoying to have to do.

  Don't know why this is happening. Out of curiosity try to make an empty compound clip, opening and adding content. The same thing happens?
