  First post! Woohoo!

  Not sure why some of my sequences make this. I'll try to make that clear as possible, but try to put this in words could be confusing. Apologies in advance.

  When Hi hit game the clip in the sequence is not selected (highlighted) and when I stop playing, it is selected (highlighted).

  Why is this super frustrating?

  I have markers in the sequence. (and I don't have or don't want markers on my clip).

  I have my window open markers and I want to read/edit comments for my markers.

  BUT when playback stops, the clip in the timeline panel is selected, then my window markers swaps to the source clip

  and then I need to re - select the sequence for my markers window window display the details of the marker.

  And worse still, sometimes when my sequence is selected (see my bearings in the markers window), when I click in the comments box to type in a description, me clicking on which comments on the box says actually the element in the sequence that is causing my markers window Exchange back to display the clip markers (once again - I don't not wishes to add markers of my clips I want only that they in the sequence).

  And it's incompatible. Sometimes it works first try, sometimes it works 3rd test.

  This is not the first time that I have worked in this way, and I don't remember this issue previously.

  Side note: I use a multicam in mu sequence clip.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated! I like dropping the interviews in this way and I really want to keep this workflow.

• Cannot add more than 1 video clip in a sequence/timeline

  I just changed a video very well, and then all of a sudden, I was not able to add any more video clips to the sequence. I was able to add audio from a specific clip I cut or the audio gross for a non-edited clip that I imported. But it doesn't allow me to also add video to it. Whenever I try to drag more than 1 video in my calendar is just a circle with a line through it top my hand cursor. I tried a new project of opening and importing files, nothing. I tried to open a new project and import various files all together and nothing changes. I went as far as first pro uninstalling and reinstalling it and Yes, I tried various clips, nothing works. I have updates and I use Windows if this is helpful, please if it's just a stupid setting I accidentally knocked it please let me know how to fix.

  Whenever I have cut an audio clip in my sequence, the source monitor freezes creating two of the same framework.  I then have to wait anywhere from five to ten minutes only for Panel source monitor back to normal to continue editing, with playback.  Itself doesn't freeze, I am able to go into my settings and change again within the sequence.  It's only the source monitor.  Anyone know this problem and is there a solution?  Thank you!  My apologies if this has already been discussed in another post.

  Hi benkerramo,

  How you should work is to score a point of synchronization on all elements in the project not the panel mounting Panel. Then, once you have your points of synchronization for all the clips you would do a multicamera from that sequence.

  When I add new clips on my sequence on any project, the audio appears on the bars of the sequence. When I drag a clip on a new project to create the sequence, the video and audio appear as usual, but when I drag any other clips the same thing happens (where the audio does.) I tried to uninstall adobe first pro and put it back (and reset all settings) and this has not fixed the problem. Anyone has any ideas to fix this?

  Your tracks are not properly patched. On your screenshot, V1 is not targeted. Click on where it says V1 and try again.

• Export multiple clips from a sequence as separate files.

  Hello fellow editors!

  I have about 100 + video files I want to cut into shorter clips, change a little and then export in a Final Cut friendly format (currently these are AVCHD mts files) to send it to my friend, who is putting the entire movie together.
  I don't want to use Final Cut for that (I can't, I have a windows machine) and I expect to work with the premier CC and media encoder CC.
  There is a way to put all the clips in a single sequence and nesting then each of them, then you can send them to the CC encoder and it will make them as separate files - it's simply not very productive, interweaving clips one by one and it takes forever to encode import sequences.

  I was wondering if there is a workflow better? I heard that Final Cut has shortcuts to do this very easily, you just click on all these clips in sequence and "batch export", which puts them in a certain place as separate, already cut files. ?

  Hi Nik,

  Place the clips in a sequence and trim if you wish. Select the clips in the timeline panel, and then drag them into a bin. In the bin, select all the clips and choose file > export > Media. Choose your export settings, then you can transcode the all in one go. If you have the FCP installed, you can use the ProRes codecs. You might consider ProRes 422 for this.

  I will treat a video clip that contains 5 speakers using Premiere Pro CS5.  I used the razor tool to split the region into five separate clips.  How can I move each of the four remaining clips to different sequences?  I tried to copy one of the three clips and paste it into an empty sequence, but there is no option to paste.

  Please, do a right-click on the item in the project Panel, and select new sequence Crter option to create a sequence according to your clips.

  After spending a long time, editing a sequence of multi cameras, all the clips have now gone black. The waveform has disappeared, but the audio is not yet. Other clips on the same timeline, including another sequence mulitcam all seem to be good and I can't identify exactly where it happened in what concerns the measures I did.

  The last element in the sequence multicam has diagonal white lines through it. I don't know if this is related? Online forums suggest it's something to do with the insufficient media, but I don't really know what that means. The camera angle ends before the other, it's the only thing I can think of that would cause the white lines.

  I have attached some sceenshots I hope clearly the question - can anyone help? I'm desperate: I lost several hours of work! Thank you!

  I have it solved! (With the help!) It turns out that the original source multicam file has been deleted. I was able to return to a previous AutoSave and import it into the current version of the project and add a link to my sequence for it. So relieved to have solved this problem without having to re - edit. Thanks again for the help!

• Editing Audio in Audition - update sequence

  I edited a sequence in the first. There are multiple instances of an element of film in the timeline which audio I want to improve hearing.

  So in the project Panel, click on images-1, edit in Audition-> Clip. It extracted the file, work on the images-1 - Extracted.wav, record at the hearing, return to the first.

  Here is where I am confused. Now I have Footage-1 with its unprecedented audio and images-1 - Extracted.wav. Tell me if this is possible: I wish that the creation to know that any instances/references to the images-1 in my sequence must use the images-1 - Extracted.wav.

  The merger seems to create just another element in the project Panel. Editing a sequence in the hearing is not supposed cause me I'm not cut edition. Thank you!

  The problem is the workflow.  Hearing is not ready yet for the kind of integration, we really need to make it really usable.

  Right now, hearing is a destructive Editor, which means that all the work you do in Audition overwrites the original file.  Because of this paradigm, hearing creates the files extracted. NLe plus works non- destructive, however, only read the original of the files, never run them over.  We need is for the hearing, to change its paradigm and becomes a non-destructive tool, using the only metadata and processing in real-time or rendered previews for his work, always leaving the original file intact.

  In other words, what we have need of hearing is the same kind of integration we have now with SpeedGrade.  We need hearing to read the Premiere Pro sequence exactly as it is, without the use of files "checked", and any work that we do in Audition must return PP as effects applied to the original clips, not as new audio files.  In addition and unlike SpeedGrade, we have full capability of mounting clip and sequence level.  We need the ability to move audio clips, lengthen or shorten, add new clips, add or delete new audio tracks, add or remove standard PP transitions, etc..  And all of these changes must be reflected in PP, once we send the project back.

  Only then the hearing will be really useful in the suite.  Until here, I recommend you skip change all in the work of the hearing.  If you need to use the hearing, separately from PP.

  If you have created the multicam via the Create Sequence of Source Multicam command sequence, so the trick is to right click on the multicam sequence in the timeline panel, and then select open in the editing. Then, you can make any changes you like him--adding clips, moving them over another, applying effects...
