an anti malware program that I can't get rid of

I am running windows vista family premium, I think and I tried to download a program to help opening a zip file, but it turned out to be a kind of antivirus protection tool. I deleted the program, but everytime I open my laptop I get an alert that a program needs my permission to continue; a program called REGTASK. How can I get rid of this problem?

  • Recent changes to your computer
  • What you have already tried to solve the problem

Hello

What program you downloaded to open zip files?

If you have recently installed the software, you try to run the system restore which will repair back from the computer to the point before the installation of the software.

To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:

a. Click Start, type system restore in the search box and then in the list click on the system restore program.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

b. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.

c. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.

d. click Finish.

Note: When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.
