If I can't, please send the instructions to backup all the associated email and address profile information so I did not lose anything... then uninstall and reinstall thunderbird and restore all the info related to my current profile.   Thanks for the reply... still not sure what happened, but I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling bird t. Everything is back to normal after that. So your solution can work, but I don't have the chance to try it. My solution, but is not ideal, was effective and the problem was solved.

  How can I get the Notification icon displayed when I receive emails?   1. Go to the Start menu icon in the left corner
  2. Right click on it to bring a menu
  3. Choose Properties from the menu
  4. Go to Notification area tab
  5. Click Customize to change the settings for each icon that appears in the notification area
  6. Scroll to the bottom for you have new messages and select view
  7. Click Ok, apply, OK

  Go to WinMail icon and drag in the Quick Launch bar

  We run Lotus Notes Domino servers so here's the test I did

  -J' created a rule in Lotus Notes to forward any received email that my name is in the field 'CC '. E-mails are moved to a folder that I named 'copy CC.  It works very well

  -On the blackberry, after receipt of the Lotus Notes e-mail and after a replication does, I do a "reconcile now" on the blackberry and go to the option 'File show' in 'Messages', I go to my folder "copy CC" and I have no emails.

  What could cause that I don't see in the folder or in messages.  Don't forget that in the 'Messages', the view is identical to that of 'View' 'All Documents' in Lotus Notes.

  It is included in your project file? You have selected using the icon when you build the .exe? Check the icon in the project, it is best if it is made for all 3 color resolutions.

  If your seeing odd times instead of dates, check that the information is correct as above.

  Note that if the sender is their computer set to 1970 date then you will get mail today from them with the date of 1970. Even if they think it's in October that is what will show their mail. This is most important when dealing with people with limited computer skills. They do not appreciate that the date and time zone information are really relevant to them at all.

  A favorite of spammers is to use a date in the future, so their junk is at the top of your e-mail list until you actually do something with it.
