Because I don't know which application makes it worth I don't know where to ask. You can see the rather cryptic system event log. To do that click on start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

When you get your system in good working condition, I invite you to back up your system up to an external hard drive and make it regular periodic updates.

  • Start window manager: sometimes when I started my PC I have a black screen with the Windows boot manager at the top.

Sometimes when I start my PC I have a black screen with the Windows boot manager at the top.  Although there are several options available, that nothing happens no matter what keys I hit and the only option is to shut down the computer and restart completely.  Sometimes the Boot Manager page turns and my office sometimes opens fine.  I've updated with everything Microsoft has Windows Vista and I still get this screen.  Anyone has any ideas.

Do a startup repair and see if that fixes it:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.

NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:

    ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html

It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.

You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

It is NOT a disc of resettlement.

  • Move the window off screen at the top

Title suggests, how can I do? I can move my windows off screen on the sides and at the bottom, but I can't top

    Thank you

    Hello

    Thanks for the update.

I'm really sorry to say this, but there is no option were you can resize your window (not resizable) at the top of the screen. You can move a resizable window to the right or the left by dragging the window to the left or right of your desktop.

There is another option were you can display multiple windows side by side as requires it.

    • Open all the windows and right click on the taskbar, select the option see the stacked windows or Show Windows side by side

  • Disable mode full-screen when the window is moved at the top of the screen?

Is there a way to disable the feature by which a window is maximized size full screen when you drag to the top of the screen?

I guess some people, it is useful to have a full screen for their programs, namely graphics applications. But when I fix my screen, I want to place the upper part of the program directly on the top of my screen. It's something that I can't do now - without activating the real behavior of full-screen.

  • My InDesign (UI) windows keeps jumping from the top to half way down on my second monitor

    Maybe it's since I did the update OS X - Yosemite 10.10.2

My windows, as configured in my workspace, now jumps to the top of my screen halfway around, making all the windows in the lower half off screen and useless.

I'll have to use a projection of the most used windows to half way down to prevent their jump.

I have three monitors and it happens on the second and the third.

I have a Wacom tablet, but have disconnected it and it doesn't seem to help.

I threw the preferences, but it makes no difference.

Firefox has crashed in the middle of the navigation. I rebooted, but he wasn't able to find my internet connection. My internet connection is in place; other computers in the House connect fine and IE and Chrome on the computer in question have no problem either. I uninstalled, downloaded a new facility and reinstalled but it may not always connect. Error message is "unable to connect. Firefox can't establish a connection to the server < all sites >. »

    Hello

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • You can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. It might help others who have the same problem.

    Thank you.

  • How to stop the installer of windows at startup to the top

Hi, when I start my computer with the windows vista Setup program automatically starts and tries to start the blackberry desktop software, which was on this model but I got rid of him. It's annoying that it stops at the comp to load the rest of the startup programs. Anyone know what I can do to get rid of this nuisance?

    Very appreciated

    QF

Do not know if this the the right answer for you.
The next method is to set Windows Installer to MANUAL application Services program so that it does not start automatically when you turn on the computer.

Windows Installer is supposed to be set to manual.

Start button > in the search box, type services > press the Enter key > uac prompt > scroll to find Windows Installer > click...
status section, there should be nothing (empty)
Unser Startup Type, it is and must be manual

If this isn't what you see, right click on Windows Installer > properties > change it. See screenshot.

  • tried to download uniblue and came up to the top with a security risk warning is a problem?

Uniblue is valid?  I tried to download the express chip set and I got a notice that it is a security risk because the digital signature could not be read or was not one at all, I contacted the company two times and did not get a response. They claim to be a microsoft partner. Can someone give me more information.

Uninstall the software Uniblue programs & features list.

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer, then it check the updates of suitable driver for your model.

That's all you need to do, apart from ensuring that your Windows updates options are correct (the default is automatically download and update the important updates only)

  • Problems with Windows 10 stuffing to the top of my Windows 7

So this box is up on my bar telling me to reserve a copy of Windows 10, I so go through the motions of installation and plan an upgrade for a few hours of work further because I have work I need to finish.  Then my browser stop working, if I use IE, Firefox, Chrome.

So I do a restore of the system to Windows 7, two days ago, now it comes up with a message telling me my copy of Windows validation needs.

    Help!

    KC

If I do a restore of the system to Windows 7 since two days,

That probably wasn't a smart move because it tends to create secondary issues. You must uninstall and reinstall your security software.

I suggest that you run the diagnostic tool Microsoft Genuine Advantage in normal mode and copy and paste the results into a response for further analysis:

    http://go.Microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=52012

Run the tool and when it ends, click the copy button, open a text such as Word or Notepad file and select Edit, paste. You can paste directly into an answer here. Open a response, right click and select Paste.

  • It is possible to click on an element in the 'History' without him returning to the top window?

Whenever I select an element in my story the window comes up to the top. This makes them extremely frustrating for anyone trying to navigate through their history to look for something specific in the use of a range of internet from any item of interest that gets clicked on is automatically taken out of context. Y at - it a fix for this? I hate having to stop using firefox on a minor issue, but it's one I repeatedly having problems with and no can't find a solution online.

    No, this is not possible.
If you open the link, then you create a new history entry and Firefox shows only the visit latest, although the old entries are still present.

A possible solution is to select all the history items using Ctrl and shift in the usual way and copy them to the Clipboard through the context menu.

This way you can bookmarks in a folder and open them at will.

In the sidebar of history (Ctrl + H), click on the left of the favorite icon to avoid opening a link.
