An Extension using an external JAR file

Hey,.
I read this blog entry:
and the thought that maybe that is it, but unfortunately will only work if the jar is deployed with the installation of JDeveloper.
I use in my extension jar files that I made myself, and even if I can get around this problem my copy just jar files to hand to the place where they are supposed to be, if I export the extension, it will not work on other PC.

So what I need to do, it's somehow include the jar file in the deployment. I tried to add a new group of files for the libraries in the deployment window, but unfortunately, that has not helped at all.

Thank you for your time and I hope someone can help me.

Couple of things possible.

It is probably just a thing of packaging in the forums, but make sure externally: part is all on the same line as the Bundle-Classpath entry.

Also remove the space between the "external: ' and the ' $ORACLE_HOME$".

One last thing, is in the previous post, you got the mon.jar in a 'test' under extensions folder.. In this example, it seems you are trying to call it directly from the Extensions folder.. This could be the main issue.

Let me know if these elements help at all.

  • Add an external library of the .jar file to cascades project

    Hi people,

I need to add a .jar file to my project of cascades. I had not gotten any document to use the cascading .jar files.

Please suggest the addition of a library jar, or if it is not possible which all extensions for external libs is then valid.

    Help, please!

    Kind regards

    Sanjeev

jar is a java library, and as there is no machine virtual JAVA on the java device cannot be performed.
    a library of c / c ++ would be a .so file.

the facebook sdk is available at http://us.blackberry.com/developers/started/facebook.jsp

for twitter, you can use twitterme with xAuth.
oAuth also seems possible, see http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/twitter-integration/m-p/1345335#M176988 etc.

don't know any api of the linked in.

  • "Error starting Module not found" add external jar to eclipse plugin

    Hello

I use the eclipse on Eclipse 3.4 plugin

    BB JDE 4.5

    8300 Simulator

I'm trying to run a Midlet that sucessfully runs in eclipse for another smartphone (Samsung).

The project compiles fine, but when I run it in the BB Simulator, it gives me the error:

"error at startup MyApp: Module ' kxml2 - 2.3.0' not found."

I added a jar for kmxl in the form of external jar file.

Sometimes it get lost, don't know why. I had to add the jar file several times because once so that it cannot compile and it disappears from the list of libraries.

In any case, the major problem is that he cannot run in the Simulator.

I found several posts with the same problem, but the solutions they gave are JDE, not eclipse plugin.

These solutions were to create a new project, made a library of BB and understand the project as a dependency in the main application.

But how to solve the problem in plugin eclipse?

Why add a pot as an external library is not enough?

Why get lost from time to time?

If we are to create a new project (it seems excessive to me thinking) how can we define everything in eclipse?

    Thank you

  • Connection to the external xml file

How to use an external xml file as a data source for my LiveCycle form?

I have a xml file on my server which is updated daily by a script. My LiveCycle form is on the server and can be pushed to the client by the click of a button on a web page or similar. Is it possible to have the LiveCycle form refresh its data before being sent to the client, or every day?

I thought that the burden of form, a JavaScript function could check if the form is on the server, or check if the xml file is there, and if this is the case, update itself, else do nothing.

I prefer to keep the xml file and the distinct shape that other applications and do scripts use xml file.

    Thank you.

    (1) if the form is used internally on the same network (ie: the xml file is still available over the network to your th) form questionable local files, but it requires advanced script.

I did it with network drives shared tho. -If you do, I use the two solution

    (2) assuming you are using LC Reader Extensions as well as the form is "all over", not always on the network starting.

-Expose the XML file through a Web service (if it is not sensitive data)

-Get the form to query the Web service

    (3) but if you have installed with LiveCycle Forms.

Use the readXML and how to bind the XML with the form.

  • External JAR and run the Script

It is a way to use external jar (Drools) in run script step? Alternatives?

    Thank you

You can use external jar files in LiveCycle along with other java web applications.

    1. place your JAR file in the application's lib directory.

    for example c:\jboss\server\all\lib

2 import the package within the ExecuteScript activity and start using classes.

  • Elements of reference in the external js file request

I am using an external javascript file, but I have problems to reference the elements of the application

APP_ID and the SESSION can be referenced using

    APP_ID: $v('pFlowId')
    SESSION: $v('pInstance')

and page items (P1_ITEM) can be referenced using

    $v('P1_ITEM')

Application items (A1_ITEM)However, do seem to not work. Tried using $v ('A1_ITEM') but without success. Is it possible to reference the elements of application in the external js file?

    Teo

You can set point local page to the value of the item application and then refer to this local element.

  • Sets the path to the custom jar file

    Hello

I have a jar (Blowfish.jar) custom file I put the path in classpath.bat in the IOM Java client. IOM is able to read the jar file and call the methods while creating users. All this are happening successfully in the windows environment.

The same jar file I copied in the linux environment and set the path to the IOM java client (that we can not install on a linux machine). But when I create the user his throw
    InvocationTargetException.

Where can I put the path to the jar file in linux environment to read this jar file.

This is not at all related to ScheduleTask/JavaTask/ThirdParty records as it is a custom jar file.

    Thank you
    KK

Why can't put this pot in ThirdParty folder?

ldapbp is the external jar file that we put in third. I think it should work

  • External XML file of a chart

I'm new to Flex, but using samples and documentation, I was able to create a simple chart that uses an external xml file for the data source is.

I'm not sure how to get to the next step, i.e.:
Having the table listening to all the changes in the xml file and update running.

Can someone point me samples or documents that can help out me?

    Thank you

source = 'path' is a * compile time * operation, so the XML is in fact embedded in the swf file.

Loading the runtime, then use HTTPService.

In addition, do not use mx: Model and if you are using HTTPService, be sure to set resultFormat = "e4x".

Search the archives if you want to know why and read more details and examples.

  • Extension jar files to put on the Server Configurator

Is there a way to migrate the jar of extension of the Configurator in ordering to place the jar files in the server, rather than return to the ebs and download the jars with GUI and join models?

What is happening in the background when the jar files are downloaded to the ebs model? whence the file stored and etc... ?

It would be nice to be able to use PPM to migrate jar files. Help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

It is possible to place the Extension Archives Configurator, or even your CX themselves, class files in the CLASSPATH of your application Java Server and then refer to them by their full qualified class name in your Configurator Extension rules.  There are many reasons that you do not want to do that, however.  Among them are:

    1. You should always make sure that identical versions of all Archives/classes are installed on all environments (development, Test, Production), on what your models to Configurator must be executed.
    2. Modify any class CX installed on the file system requires a rebound of web server so that the changes of code comes into force, which requires downtime for the Configurator, but for your entire system of E-Business Suite.
    3. Change a class CX installed on the file system immediately impact all templates using this Extension of configurator and therefore requires testing of each of them before the deployment of one.

The framework of the Extension of the Configurator introduced in 11i10, in which Configurator Extension Archives are stored in the database, was designed to meet all these gaps in the system of a CX deployment files:

    1. CX archives are part of a Publication model, so it does not need to explicitly install jar files or class on any server target of Publication.  The CX Archives related to a model copied to the database target by pressing the program contributing to process the postback.
    2. Modify a class CX and republish a model that it uses do not require a rebound of web server.  At run time, the new automatically code gets loaded with the new definition of the model.  No downtime required.
    3. Modify a CX class only affect models that use it, and who are subsequently republished.  Models that do you not continue to use the CX code as it was during their last publication.

I'm totally familiar with PPM, but I don't have to know anything to tell you that any deployment architecture consisting of Extension of Configurator classes on the file system take advantage of best practices facilitated by the standard Configurator Extension Framework.

    I hope this helps.

  • How to use an external hard drive to share files with other computers

I have a HP Personal Media Drive that is currently used to share files with another computer. However, it is very old and I want to continue the sharing of files. Can I use an external hard drive? and if yes, how I have set up?

I have an external hard drive, Toshiba-1 t. It is connected with a USB cable. My computer has wireless access, and the other computer does not work. The internet allows us to connect.

Suppose that your external drive to your is connected to PC 1. When you open Windows Explorer on PC1 then this disk will appear as if it was a local, integrated drive. To make it accessible to PC 2, you need to "share". When you type this phrase in a Google search box then you will get many excellent recipes step by step on how to do this:
