  Neither Canon apps support USB connection.  By the description, they only work with cameras that are equipped with Wifi.  It does not even say that they are working with cameras Wifi not even with the optional wireless adapter.

  There are a lot of apps written that allows you to connect via USB OTG cable... some are free, but most require a small fee.  The most popular seems to be the controller DSLR app, which costs $8.50... I tried a couple of ones that are free and they work, but this isn't something I would do so I never got really into it.  I do not have my tablet with me and I don't remember the name of it... key is you can download from the Google game and try them.

  1. on your android phone, go to the application of the system settings and in Accounts & sync (could be worded slightly different on different android devices), go to firefox sync & tap pair a device.

I find the windows media player seems difficult and terrible coolant for my music and videos. Before I had reformatted my computer, the phone would automatically connect and let me open its files in a folder as a removable storage device. However, everytime I open the icon of my computer, removable storage devices not display my phone as one of the options. I would go back to the old familiar features that I use all the time.
