angles, positive and negative area on a plot of polar

Is there a way to label the sector on a polar plot angles with +/-values? We generate a lot of bosses of directivity of sonar and angles scored from-180 to 180 instead of 0 to 360 have long been the norm. Looking at the definition of the curve and Polar - display the tab - it doesn't seem to be an obvious way to do it.

Hi Greg,.

Unfortunately, there is no way to do in tiara at the moment. I presented a report of Corrective Action to resolve this (#323394), and I hope that this feature will be included in a future version of DIAdem. Thank you for that bring to our attention.

Kind regards

  • Positive and negative frequency of calculation deviation

    Hello

IAM with PXI-5620 to measure RF PXI 5600.

I need to measure the frequency deviation, Positive and negative. The example or vi "MT DAMA demodulate FM.vi" gives peak frequency deviation . Can any please help me find the positive frequency Deviation and negative frequency deviation of her

    Thank you

    Niju.

    Hi Johanna,.

First things first - 5620 5600 + combined is what we call a PXI-5660 RF Signal Analyzer.

The PXI-5660 module cannot be presence via the driver NOR-DAMA. The Modulation Toolkit FM sample that you reference is for the PXI-5661 and SMU-5663 analyzers, both use the driver NOR-DAMA.

You use MT ni5660 FM demodulation. vi, located under the ni5660 examples.

    Now to your question...

When you perform an FM demodulation, resulting the Subvi MT Demodulat FM data frequency / time with the frequency values (Y axis), is compared to the carrier frequency specified. Thus, data deviation of frequency (Hz), function of time. All you need to do to get the positive and negative frequency deviation is to use LabVIEW table Max & Min primitive functions of table palette. This will give you the min and max value of the FM data that will be the negative peak and the positive peak frequency deviation.

  • positive and negative rotation numbers

    Hi all

I create a roulette game that calculates the winning number based on the rotation of the main wheel. I'm if/else using statements to determine the winning number based on the rotation. I am tracking the rotation in the output panel. I want my rotation to go between 0 and 360, but the output panel trace 0-180, then it starts from "-180-0."

The wheel can turn several times. No idea how to keep the positive numbers between 0 and 360, and do not have to write my if else to accommodate negative numbers?

    Thank you!

    var rot: Number = (whatever._rotation+360)%360;

  • Grid Y looking positive and negative in CS5

I know there is another thread with discussion on why different programs the y axis upside-down, which is good.  The problem is that all the previous versions of Illustrator have your zero point as it would on a normal mathmatical grid.  Why now after 7 years of using Illustrator must I "Rethinking" how I move objects.  We create dielines and now if I put my text of the measure and captions on the top and bottom, to do the opposite of what we have done during all these years.  Besides the work placement.  Why is there not an option?  It's pathetic to from Adobe.  Someone please tell me there is an option to invert the y-axis now inverted.

    Monika said.

    Here it is:

To change the origin of the rule in CS5 are the same as in CS4 and earlier versions, you can:

    (1) find and open the AIPrefs (Win talk) or Adobe Illustrator Prefs (Mac talk) of the file. It is a hidden file in the folder hidden settings of Adobe Illustrator CS5

(2): find and replace the following two bits of code:

    /isRulerOriginTopLeft 1 > /isRulerOriginTopLeft 0 (replace the 1 with a 0)

    /isRulerIn4thQuad 1 > /isRulerIn4thQuad 0 (replace the 1 with a 0)

Note: This is a global change.

  • How do you know if there are more positive or negative numbers?

I'll try to explain my problem with an example, because I do not have labVIEW installed in the computer.

I have 10 numbers and multiply to 10 other numbers

and of course I get 10 results, after I have to show the value of meddium of this 10 results and must show the signal that most seem (+ or-)

My problem is to show the signal, if I have 7 positive 3 numbers and negative numbers, how to measure and display the negative signal to the final?

    example:

    -0,3-0,8 1 0.3 0.6-0.7 - 0.1-0.5 0.3-0.4

If I have to put in the final:

    -0.5

If you just transfer emails from the iPhone to the printer there is no option to control the position of the jpg print. This isn't something that can be handled right now on ePrint.  The attachment will be printed on a separate page. The body of the email will be printed separately of the spare part.

  • Where can I find the tutorial or sample Vi to control the position and speed of the stepper motor?

I think that what you are looking for is the LabVIEW SoftMotion Module:

    http://sine.NI.com/NIPs/CDs/view/p/lang/en/NID/14234

Here is a good resource on stepper motor theory:

My recommendation would be to start from a counterexample of LabVIEW. These can be found in LabVIEW > help > examples > material input and output > DAQmx > input meter, output meter.

  • How to save a position and dimensions of windows on the desktop?

How to save a position and dimensions of windows on the desktop?

In Vista, there are limited means of control Windows and many of those who apply to the general patterns and not to individual windows.

The following includes about what Vista can offer in this area, and I don't think that this will do exactly what you want (even if it is possible that the first option with references to other related articles can do a little of that, but I don't think that he can do everything or entirely as you wish without 3rd party help) except for the 3rd party program that winsizeme also mentioned below.  That may do the trick:

Here's how to change the default template for a folder:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/70819-windows-explorer-folder-view-settings.html.  Default behavior is to select the model based on the first type of file placed in the folder (you must choose something).  Vista sets thefolder type template according to what are the types of files in the window and the settings display window Explorer. This will show you how to resetthe Windows Explorer folder view settings, disable Automatic folder Type discovery and increase theview of the folder cache to have Vista don't forget display settings, model of file type, size, or position of a specific window for when it was still closed to the location of specific path.

It does not work with the Sub record under, Open with, open in a new tab (Internet Explorer), etc... dialog windows of type through the goodFile menu bar item. These don't seem to be able to have their size or their position to recall. For the latter, you can use the free program WinSizeMehttp://www.pcmag.com/article2/0, 2817,2339650,00.asp to resize them and record the sizes and locations (I changed the program that mentioned in the article, because even if it is a Vista article, the 3rd referenced application part it does not indicate speciiquement is compatible with Vista so that it doesn't).  I have never personally used this program myself so I can't say for some it will achieve your goals, but from what I've read on this subject, it should do the trick (although I don't think it will be automatic - you may need to set each window you want to save in this way - but that's about all that's available if you need to decide whether or not this alternative is better or) (no).  I'm not certain if it applies to programs or only records - but since it's free you can test and see if it helps you with your situation (it may be that it is useful in some cases and not the worth or effective in others - it of for you to decide (but considers that there is really no other alternative that those presented here - just Vista is not this type of detailed features except to a lesser extent) as described in section 1 above).

Here is another article on how to modify the columns in Windows Explorer and sort in Vista:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/108665-column-customize.html.  This will show you how Add, Remove, move, change the widthand change the sort order of the columns in Windows Explorer in the way that you want.

Here is another article on how to change the display of the default folders in Vista (but she claims it is not a perfect solution and can revert to the previous behavior is not as good as the prior links provided:http://news.cnet.com/8301-13880_3-10019957-68.html.)  I include it only because it is an option - but also what he says it is not a very good alternative (but if none of the other works, it may be worth).

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Text boxes and annotations are moving their own

To complete a model of society with Acrobat DC, I add checkmarks, circles and text boxes.  I find that when I save and then return later, they are in the right place when I discovered, but when I go back to edit the page, they moved.  When they move, they are positioned properly with each other, but not to the original page.  If I move it to the correct position and save again, they are in the wrong place when I go back to see.  If I let them and only add my new annotations, and then when I come back to see, the 'old' are in the right place, and the news is in the wrong place.  Why did they move, and how can I fix this, please?

Hello, I need help. in photoshop / editing / color / color / RGB management rules, it is impossible to change this point. Is in the "off" position and I would choose "preserve embedded profiles' I'm on windows 8 and creative cloud for photoshop.

Policies automatically goes to "off" If you have your screen as working RGB profile - what is something that you should never do. Always have a standard space like RGB work.

And Yes, "preserve embedded profiles" is the only sensitive parameter. Others are best for special purposes where you really know what you are doing - at worst they will transform your archive in a unrecoverable mess.

  • Position and hide a video

Using Acrobat 9 Pro, I placed a video file on the page.

    • Is it possible to hide the video when it's done playing?
    • When the video is in a floating window, is it possible to position it in the center of the page instead of the top right corner?

Would be very grateful for any suggestions.

Also, I downloaded and installed your extended video player widget. Is it possible to use your widget to Center video in Acrobat 9 or Acrobat X? If so, how would I go all this?

Acrobat and text editing method we are talking about here, don't care about all that contains the Annotation of rich media (video, flash, 3D, etc.) as he is set to open in a floating window.

When you embed a 'video' in Acrobat 9 +, what it actually does is to include a copy of the default videoPlayer widget and the video itself, therefore the annotation is basically identical to an annotation "Flash". In fact, if you push a little further down your PDF uncompressed, you will find a few lines that define the widget (search for 'VideoPlayer.swf') followed by a Binding object that shows the variables passed to the SWF that control playback, as they do on a site Web, then a dict containing the SWF itself (stored as binary data 'stream').

You can change the widget all you want (the value by default, mine, you write, even a player of video from a Web site), but nothing the widget can influence the postion it floats because it is only the area of Acrobat. The widget is not even know that she's floating.

I can be sounding like Tank, but sometimes, if you want to know how something works in Acrobat, the best way is to read the unzipped file and see how things are defined. It also reveals some interesting things on what data hides in a PDF document, for example if you search for your file around the Binding tag, you will see the date file name, creation and modification are there, even if Acrobat will not display them. Possibly worth to remember if your video file is rough! Waaay at the time when the world was young, we used to write PostScript files by hand; a PDF file with the video is larger, but no more not complicated once you've got your head around the language.
