Animate area scroll text Adobe

I need to create a scrolling in adobe animate text box. A LOT of text should be placed in a square barely 150 x 150 pixels wide and deep, so that the user must scroll to read. It's very simple and yet the instructions from Adobe are pretty complicated and I can't get the menu item "Scrollable" activates.

Can someone please!

Thank you, Jack

Hi Jack,

There is no built in support for scroll-able textbox or component textarea for HTML5 Canvas doctypes in Animate.

So, it will involve a little work to imitate her in the way that you want.

One way to implement is using static text with masking applied to this topic and coded to be controlled by a scroll symbol.

In other words is - using DOMElement - which allows to connect any component tag HTML/with your Web based animation published by Animate. An HTML textarea with fixed width/height defined as DOMElement can be superimposed-ed on top of the canvas.

    Hi Steve,.

It seems you have a lot to learn (no offense). :-)

Adobe has done a ton of video tutorials on Muse and maybe they can help you in the right direction: effects of scrolling: text | Adobe Muse CC tutorials

Hello, I'am getting a little crazy because Group/scrolling text does not. I looked at several videos of Adobe evangelists now to make a scrolling text or group.  I ' am in collaboration with InDesign CC and it looks like my 'Overlay tools' do not work.  When I see the preview, I can't scroll but only to select text. My steps are simple: I put my text in a selected area. PLACE IN > that select > Folio overlays > floating framework. It does not scroll. What I've done wrong?

Hey everyone I think that I've used before, but if I did I forgot how, does anyone know if you can add edge animate in a slideshow or use scrolling text within a slide show effect?

what I try to do is animate the text on different slides in a slide show, where each slide has different effects and text. If I can't do that, what anyone has any ideas?

There are several answers to various parts in your question:

    -You can place the edge entertainment in compositions (not in slideshow);

    -Scroll of parts or of the effects of scrolling in a Composition are more difficult;

(- let slide shows meet your roll is a characteristic third effects Panel).

The only problem, I expect, is to know how to display 100% width ?

Slideshows can be presented to the width of the browser, but not of Compositions ...

And it would be less convenient build all in an animation.

  • Preview and scroll text problems

Anyone having problems becomes the scrolling text function to work in a superposition of a provision fixed ePub? I have the latest version of InDesign CC, purchased last week.

Here is a picture of my file. As you can see, it's really simple. Content area is on the right. You can't see the whole box, but it is long enough to fit all my text. On the left, I created a container box, wider but shorter than the content area. I then selected and used content in paste to place the content in the container. Then, I chose the container, went to Folio overlays, and I called the vertical scroll content box, start at the top left and vector format. But when when I tried to preview (more on problems of overview in a minute), the container appears as a simple text with no capability of scrolling box. I asked the help of Adobe people and they don't seem any ideas not yet.

For what is an excerpt, well, I can export to Adobe Digital Editions or I can look at the page in the preview window/Interactive/EPUB interactivity. But an excerpt from treaty simply file/Folio page and then returns nothing. And the same thing happens when I hit an excerpt in the Panel inlays of Folio.

I would like to know if this is specific to my system or a common problem. Since I bought only CC to produce annotated books, there is not much I can do without it. And if CC does not do, does anyone have a suggestion for something that a non-programmer can use to achieve the same result?

    Thanks for any help.

Frames with scroll are a DPS - Digital Publishing Suite - function (like all the other effects in the Folio overlay Panel). This is a different beast than ePub ch-putting on the page.

For fixed layout, interactivity all is supported (any Panel in windows > interactive flyout) except the forms, Page Transitions and Animation of two presets smoke and blur. Note that Folio Builder panels and overlays of Folio is not part of the interactive panel group.

    I know it's very confusing!

If you try to create a * app * then you use DPS, and you should ask this question in the DPS forum.

  • Scroll text

There is full opportunity to fix page scrolling and text in the Muse.

In other words, if I set a page w1024 a t768 and I create a text inside the page area, it could be possible to place a long text that can scroll in the box, while the page remains in place in this box?

    Thank you

If this is not possible, I think it might be a very nice feature, especially in the case of a web application running on Ipad

    Hi Lorenzo,.

It is not possible using features of Muse, but was a common feature request. Some members of the forum created their own solution by inserting HTML. Please see the following for more information:

  • Scrolling text is rough

I am new to Adobe Premiere Elements and fight to add some smooth scrolling of securities with a black background Uni.   It makes no difference if I select one predefined text animations or options for deployment/crawll.   To provide the context and details for analysis, I have listed some criteria and parameters as below: -.

    1. I use the first elements V10.0
    2. The work area is rendered.
    3. My favorite medium of output is a DVD for a HD TV PAL.   I also tried other settings such as MPEG or AVI and WMF standard with zero difference.
    4. I tried different combinations of parameters of the project, my current is HDV 1080i at 25 images/sec.   You would have thought that 25 fps would scroll text smoothly.
    5. I tried to zoom in to the maximum possible how each frame is visible.   I can see the text on each image, even if to comment the amount of movement seems rather well, which makes me wonder if it is simply a function of 25 images/sec.
    6. There is not a lot of text, words not more than 4 or 5 on a 6 second period, scrolling ideally located in front of left to right.   However, I'm not terribly hung up on the type of scrolling.
    7. I kept to PAL based settings for the project and the release of formats, not sure what to choose something else might make a difference.
    8. Finally, I tried to change the options field (zero, interlacing consecutive images, always deinterlace, removal of twinkle), once again without any effect.

I don't know that it must be something very simple.   Any suggestions gratefully received.

There are some links in this ARTICLE, which might be useful when you make menus or titles.

  • Scrolling text defaulting to white on white in question slides matching Quiz

    Hello

The scrolling text is defaulting to white text in my question slides corresponding Quiz.  I want any other text on the screen to be white (because I have a dark background), but I need the scrolling text (i.e. A, B, C, D) to be black, so that it appears in the little white boxes.  For now, it looks like my drop-down list is empty.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Barb

The text in the menu dropdown inherits the color that you assign to the corresponding answers.  You cannot currently control menu text dropdown formatting independent response text captions.  It is obvious that Adobe is on all those who use corresponding questions on a black background when they designed this special relationship.

I agree that it would be a good improvement to have the ability to format the text of the control and the background regardless of the other text.  You must connect to this an enhancement request.

In the meantime, you have several choices:

    • Do not use a black background for this question.
    • Use a black background, but place a rectangle of light behind the answers so that you can set the text is dark again.  If you apply a little creativity, you can even find that doing it this way will look more attractive.
    • Use a different type of drag and drop matching quiz question.  Discover for example Drag and Drop Lite Question Widget. (Free trial download here).  Because it uses objects from the screen as captions and areas of highlight for interactivity, it doesn't matter what background color you use.
  • Scrolling text widget displays at the top of the text of comments

    Untitled.png

In HTML5, the scrolling text widget is the display on top of text in comments. Background: I have converted the legends of success and failure by default in smart objects I can use an overlay image for correct/bad comments. When your comments appears, it is an image full screen. The scrolling text widget is reflected and is actually on top of the image of your comments. This happens even when the widget is at the bottom of the timeline. Any ideas on how we can have the overlapping of feedback (dynamic object) appear at the highest level (top)?

    Hi Amy,

    You can try the following:

    1. close Captivate and save your project

    2. go in the Captivate installation directory [in general is: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 9 x 64]

    3. copy the file "AdobeCaptivate.ini" to your desktop

    4. open this file in the editor and change the value of 'UseWidget7' to 1.

    5. save a copy of this return to its original location

6 restart Captivate and open your project

Can you try this and see if it helps?

    Thank you

  • Captivate 9 - I need a lot of vertical scrolling text

For a project delivered in HTML5 on a desktop computer, I will need at least a slide 3200 pixels high to accommodate a large amount of vertical scrolling text.  This project will be a course of English school together. Students will be selecting from a pair of short stories, he will read and then answer a few questions about the story. I prefer not to enter the history of dozens of slides or teach students to leave Captivate, read a PDF and come back half an hour later to answer questions.  How can I present a large amount of text on a single vertical scrolling page? Vertical scrolling only bar text widget that I can find is a small box that can recognize a short history of 1200 words.

All creative solutions are welcome because I am only in the phase of planning at this time.

Use a Web object and put the text in an HTML web page that gets displayed in the Web object on a slide.

The advantage of this approach is that you can put as much text as you want in the HTML page and you can also put the text using CSS.  The interaction of text scrolling does not either of those freedoms.

  • Effect of scrolling text box does not

I am designing a Web site that uses scroll opacity effects and there is a text box that I've created to fade at the bottom of the page when the user scrolls. However, although this effect worked well yesterday, it stopped today, the text box is simply invisible. (screenshot below). The strange thing is the price is also a text box using exactly the same effects of opacity still scroll which seems in good condition. I will note that the area of text without appearance was originally a block of text related to the use of system fonts, which has since been converted to web fonts. Please can anyone provide any assistance or advice to solve this problem?

Thanks for your reply. The problem occurred again even after a new text box has been created, but after several tries it now seems to work again.

  • How can I activate/disable the display of a scrolling text object?

I am a relatively new user of Captivate and I am using the Interaction of learning in 8 Captivate text scrolling. Specifically, I would like to have a button on the screen when you click it, the drop-down text box will be displayed for the learner. In addition, when viewing, I want a REJECTION or button CLOSE to allow the user to hide the drop-down text box. Basically, I want them to be able to toggle the scrolling text box market at their convenience. I have the following set in place.

    1 READ MORE graphic.

    2. click on the box 1 interaction drawn at the top of the image to READ MORE.

    3 interaction marquee training.

    4. close.

    5. I have a Click Box 2 cartoon above the button interaction CLOSE.

    6. I have items 3 and 4 together to form GROUP_1.

7 GROUP_1 is set to NO VISIBLE output.

    8. click on box 1 has defined action so that the success is to see THE GROUP_1.

    9. click on box 2A action defined for that success it is HIDE GROUP_1.

    Here's what it looks like:

    screenshot.gif

When I saw my project, the first part works fine, I click on READ MORE and my scroll text box and a button CLOSE appear as they should. However, when I click the button CLOSE, it moves to the next slide instead of simply to hide the group.

Also, if I publish the project, the drop-down text box appear not at all. The button CLOSE pops up so when he is supposed to, but the space where the text box should appear does not display anything. I tried the consultation in Chrome Version 43.0.2357.132 m, 11 Version IE and Firefox v39. It seems to be related to the area of text scrolling in a group because I put a box of scrolling text on a separate screen and it shows well in all browsers.

So, I'm looking for advice, including at - it an easier way to achieve the goal of enabling/disabling of the scrolling text box on and off the screen? TIA!

    Dee

One thing you need to know using unique actions on objects interactive such as click on boxes or buttons will also trigger an action to continue later by default.  This is probably why your slides advance when you don't want to.  To work around this problem, you must replace the shares you are currently using with stock Standard or conditional Actions that do the same thing.  They don't progress not the timeline unless you stipulate specifically action continues or a jump to slip as well.
