  I'm currently having problems with audio / reading slides. • BlackBerry 10 Q10 Message text box does not scroll past two lines

  When you type a message in the message text box, the text does not scroll to the 3rd entry line until the line is completed. I find myself typing blind to line 3 of my message until the line 3 is full... then it scrolls to the top and becomes visible in the message text box. Any suggestions?

  Had the same problem.  You must have changed the font size of your device to a point 10 or above fonts.  If you set it to original font size which is 8, it works perfectly again.  IHAVE that mine now set at 9 and it the text field scrolls correctly now.  It must be a bug in Blackberry software so if you read these messages please fix it as I'd rather watch 10-point font.

  I have a text box with the field of the item to a width of 100, a maximum width of 240 and a height of 5. A user can type more than 240 characters on the screen (it does not seem to cut at any time) and then when they run they get an error of area too long given that the DB has only 240 tanks. (they can also copy and paste more than 240 characters here too)

  Hi mimi,

  Make a "* Textarea character counter with *" rather than a normal text box. It will then work. If you want you can even use ' Textarea character Counter and check the spelling.

  I would try to reset the text tool.

  The option "Change only the size of the text" applies only to the text for the following items.

  Title bars

  Menus

  Message boxes

  Titles of palette

  Text of the icon

  ToolTips

  What you need to do is select the link "Custom resizing options" directly above the option "Change only the text size.

  In the dialog box move the cursor in the rule box, hold down the left button of the mouse and drag the rule. If the size is 100%, try to start with it to 125%.

  Click OK, and then apply. You will be asked to disconnect / connect to before the change takes effect.

  If 125% does not for you try to bump the size up one another 10% gradually until you are satisfied.
