  Recently, I noticed these dotted lines appearing around my desktop icons. They seem to stay with what is active on the desktop, including menu, or the taskbar windows that are reduced to a minimum. Its more a nuisance than anything either. Everyone knows this? Or even better, how to get rid of him. I tried to adjust the effects of animation for the visuals in the advanced settings, but nothing works for the moment.   Thanks for the reply Ajay K. No help but on the 3 methods. Good news is that I was able to find a way to cut the lines dotted on my desktop icons. A selection of the EASE of ACCESS program box has been activated somehow and that's what caused this inconvenience. If everyone should be having a similar problem like this, go through the control panel and open "ease of access". There are a few options to help users to set their computers to special needs or conditions they may have. I learned a lot and got rid of a problem at the same time. Thanks again for your help.

  Here's my problem: I am display a gif animated using the class presented here.

  It is used in a specific class loader that perform an action, while the gif is displayed (the gif is a spinner). Only once the operation is completed, the LoadingScreen came out of the screen.

  The problem is that the gif is not animated, while the action runs. But if I have a popup appears at the end of the action to let the loading screen, I see that the gif is animated. As well as the animation starts when the action is complete.

  I think something is wrong in the clock of my son, but I don't see that.

  I m a very beginner After Effects. I´d make you an animation. Will try to explain it:

  I drew some closed (closed paths) shapes in Illustrator. I saved as *. HAVE and then imported into After Effects.

  I´d make you an animations where these paths (the race) seems to appear progressivelly (imagine a pen moving along the screen and must pick up the pen draws these lines).

  Don't know if I was able to explain properly.  Is there an effect where I can pick one point initial anhor and a point final anchor point and then after doing an animation of this traced line living in a period of time?

  First, assign your HAVE clipborad prefs AICB, so the paths come to Ae. Then select one of them, copy them to the Clipboard. Place in AE.

  Option a:

  If you have already no dummy, a Composition--> New (Ctrl + N) followed by a layer--> New--> solid (Ctrl + Y). Paste the path on the solid. It will become a mask. Untwirl mask properties (or hit twice on short M), the mode mask set to None. Then an effects--> Generate--> stroke. In the context menu of the effect, select your mask. Click on the small timers to activate the animation for the start and end properties, create a few keyframes. Repeat for all other paths.

  Option b:

  A layer--> new--> shape layer. Paste the path. Untwirl properties. It will have a default fill or stroke. Remove the fill. With the active layer of the form, there will be a ' Add' button in the top toolbar and a similar tiny button in the timeline. Or choose the modifier to connect the tracks. Animate its percentages of beginning and ending similar to the race. Repeat for the other channels.

  You can watch a little bit of help and online to check out this post for a start-up resources. Several additional tutorials are also related to aid. For example, it can also help about the generic race animation and complex creation looks like using features and effects.

  Hello useful community! A two-part question.

  I'm just getting started on the video production and have some needs in mind. I hope you can let me know if FCPX can do that hopefully, if there is an obvious solution, I am missing, or some of you approach use.

  I'll be doing a few videos of interview style and will have several camera angles, with that I need to work. So if I understand correctly to work with iMovie, I'll have a main video timeline and then 'cut' in and out secondary structures for the other angles. But I must have a logo sitting in the corner as well. Is there still enough chronologies to cut in different camera angles while having a timeline showing the stationary chart? iMovie does not you have only your primary and another calendar cut in and out, but I hope that FCPX has the ability to overlay 2 more than at a time? Or maybe I'm going about this the wrong way need?

  The second part is linked, I want to be the logo/text animation because it is (as a brief introduction). Not throughout the entire video or something extremely complex, but to animate shapes and text sliding in such that the name of the speaker, the name of show graphics, etc... And I'm hoping to create my own custom animations, not the familiar "motions of text" located in iMovie. I feel like the examples I found online that all look like they have animations the same model and I hope for much more creative in this area occasionally, if that makes sense. In its most simple example I guess, the design and animation capabilities/techniques you can do in Keynote for graphics/text that can be market timed, fades, slides, etc.

  Is FCPX the right program to incorporate more complex forms of text animations as well? Or is it the work of another software?

  Yes, you can make custom animations. For more complex animations, you use Motion.

I currently connected to an Airport Extreme, which works like the router (the cable modem has the router function disabled). Attached to the AE is also a powerlink and I have an Airport Express connected to the powerlink, which has its own network.

  I was wondering if it would make sense to connect the powerlink directly to the cable modem and then put my Airport Extreme, a more central location in my home connected via Powerlink and there accumulate this way, rather than the current configuration.

  I'm getting a second Airport Extreme soon as well and I have several express in my house, but the problem is that my wifi is not fast at all.

  It's always a good idea to place the 'main' AirPort router as close as possible of the area where most of the wireless devices should be used in this sense, your idea is a good thing... and in theory at least. ... .the powerline adapters allow you to do.

  However, in practice... you won't really know how well... or even if... this type of installation will work until you try you. The reason for this is there is so many different things that can affect the performance of a type of current line of the installation program.

  If you have time, there is certainly no harm in trying this type of configuration.  Post your results if you decide to try it.
