  Too, I'll have a problem displaying the folios in Adobe Content Viewer v32.

  Other members of the team had trouble downloading the folio and received an error message "can not to connect to the server at this time...". "

  The team continued to investigate the matter last weekend and have identified the root cause and strive to solve the problem. There is a potential delay which can be met with the largest networks of content and/or slower.

  I don't an ETA have not yet but will keep you all.

• For iOS, ipad version shows the folio that was released, but the iPhone is not.

  I am responsible for managing the applications and not at all involved with or know how the process of creation of folio works.

  When I build the app for iOS, iPad version shows the folio that was released, but the iPhone does not show the folio.

  "Android and iOS viewers have different requirements for the display of the folios. Any size of folio you create can appear in a viewer for Android. Items are put on the scale and Letterbox if necessary. However, on the iPad, the Viewer displays only the folios with a 4:3 aspect ratio. IPhone Viewer displays only the folios with an aspect ratio 3:2 or 16:9 (1136 x 640). »

• Cannot close the folio Content Viewer on iPad

  Hi all

  Downloaded folio of the student to test. Didn't know it was a sequence of images covering the entire screen. This means that I can not navigate on the folio, to return to the library, to delete it – like everything I do is activate the sequence of images when I press on it. I tried canceling publication by producer Folio, but it is still on my iPad. Any suggestions?

  PS: Also removed in Folio Builder in InDesign... always there.

  Try to close all the application by double pressing the home button and

  by dragging the STROKE off the coast. Then reopen the content viewer.

  Is there a way to create a folio in InDesign and transfer manually on the Viewer Adobe app on an iPad?

  Reason being that download the folio on Folio producer seems to take forever and is far too unreliable given the urgency of dealing with creative projects.

  Mac only:

  Attach the iPad to the computer via the USB cable and open Adobe Content Viewer. In the Folio Builder Panel, select the folio and then choose Preview > Preview on "device name".

  There is no way to do it on Windows.

• iPad not an option for display in the control panel overlay of the Folio.

  During an hour 4 creators in our office were not able to get a glimpse into the control panel overlay of the folio. We are all on Macs, CS6 with worm tools. 25. we all could see a preview before that. We can get a glimpse on the desktop, but the iPad does not appear in the menu drop-down overview.

  Hello! I'm working on my ipad first magazine. I got 2 ipads in my house (different users). My own one that was connected to my computer while downloading the folio is an ipad 3 and all show perfect. But I also want to test it on my girlfriends ipad (ipad 2). If I download the adobe on his ipad Viewer and sign in with the same ID adobe (like on my ipad), it shows just the adobe manual. Not my folios. I do something wrong or hurt to understand the possibilities of it?

  Looks like you set your folio as local (offline), you still can see since the ipad connected, but it is not uploaded to the server from adobe.

• 2 folios "renditions" in the new iPad app

  Since I started using Rendition of Folio for iPad, I found a lot of problems.

  The first vector option in setting scrolling and slideshow dosen´t work well. See in this post - http://forums.adobe.com/message/4852164#4852164

  Now, I chose to publish 2 Folios - 1024px and 2048px using the same metadadas and product ID. This folio just the size are different.

  Then, in the new iPad both slips are downloaded... It s very mess for customers.

  I publish first Folio 2048px, just after the Folio of 1024px

  During the creation of "renditions" to a newsstand app subscription, follow these steps:

  (1) ensure that the sheet name values are the same in the "renditions" two folio, and size values are different. Looks like you did.

  (2) make sure that the product ID values are the same when you publish apps. Looks like you did.

  (3) ensure that the Publication Date is the same, and you specify a publication date for each rendition of folio using the calendar widget. You don't mention if you did.

  (4) publishes rendering 2048, then the interpretation of 1024. Once the two renderings are published, click on warn. Looks like you did.

• How can I get a vector-quality animation in a folio?

  We want to make very little (200 x 100 px) animations with very fine lines (1 px) and text for our folio.

  I have tried EdgeAnimate and Flash. I have not found a satisfactory solution.

  In all my attempts, the drawings have been made. When you see the folio to the iPad at 100% it's OK, but if you zoom in on this animation it is blurry.

  What would be the best way for animations high resolution for a folio for iPad?

  There are many examples of SVG animation on the web.
  Just copy the code and test it with an overlay of web for DPS.

  I have 2 animations on the edge (oam files), I placed the firt animation in a page in indesign and the second on a second page.

  When I test the project in Adobe Content Viewer, the second animation start at the same time as the first animated film

  but they are on 2 different page... I do not understand why?

  I want to play the first animation on his page and start the second just when animation onto the second page,

  but now when I get on the second page, the animation is finished...

  In the web, tab group Folio overlays overlay put two overlays to auto-play with 0.125 seconds behind.

• Size of the folio in DPS

  We are in the 3rd edition of our magazine iPad using DPS. The second issue was 520 MB (2048 version) which we were happy with, however, the third question went up to 770MB, which takes a while to download. After reading online and here, I try to keep the folio at about 500 MB with all resized jpeg images and videos are streamed in. I noticed that the T3 have disabled double tap to zoom in, it would have something to do with the final size folio? If not, are there settings/tips that we can look at to try to reduce the size of the folio?

  I'll give you my standard advice. Stop using the "rendition". There is none

  interest practical at all, except in very rare cases.

  Use PDF and 1024 x 768 and see for yourself. You'll want to go through

  your overlays to ensure that WHO and scroll frames are on raster or

  vector in an appropriate manner.

• .IPA multi-folio trials cannot display the folio

  Launched the application Developer (.ipa) on the ipad. It starts, the cover of the display for two seconds and then is empty. Title, gear on right icon and library on substantive emissions, but nothing else. Folio download and open fine in Adobe viewer. Did I miss a step?

  You don't have to UN-publish. Click on the "Update" button, it will show you if it publishes public/private. If private, change it in public and update the folio

• Reconstruction of the Folios Android

  Hello, I'm looking for suggestions on the workflow for Android 7 '' tablet. We currently have applications in both iTunes store GooglePlay (and Amazon). So far, I had used 1024 x 768 to build folios between all devices. However, we have just bought a Google Nexus 7 and downloaded our app only to discover that our folios are unreadable due to the proportion 4:3 and 3:2. I would like to rebuild our folios for the Android Tablet but since they are already published I do not know where to start.

  If I take the approach of 'Lazy Susan' by Bob #1 scenario (referring to article "creating DPS Folios for Android devices") and reuse my iPad and do documents a size of 1600 x 1200, would I need to:

  (1) do not publish and then republish the folio?

  (2) is it a good idea to reuse the the same publication ID?

  (3) if so, what happens to the version from Amazon?

  (4) does it matter if I decide to do a 'V' guidance document only when it was previously the two?

  (5) will be the user then download the folio 'new' and delete/Archives of the folio published previously?

  I guess if I choose to either go "all the way" and/or "Sensible shortcuts", these two processes would have the same questions (don't not publish/republish, etc..) I think it's good to add "renditions" at this stage because it is ' sort of ' a 'new '... Is this correct?

  If you looked at your application on a larger HD Android tablet, you'd be even more disappointed what looks like your folio of 1024 x 768. It looks like a small stamp in the middle of a black screen. It is the big drawback of the 'Lazy Susan' approach, at least for now. (In a future release, Android viewers should be able to evolve the contents upwards or downwards. That will simplify things, and I need to revise my orientation.)

  (1) there is no reason to not publish/republish the folio No. Simply create a new format 1600 x 1200 using the eponymous Folio, ID and product Date of Publication settings used in the folio of 1024 x 768. Of course, the problem with this approach is that 1600 x 1200 is still 4:3 aspect ratio, which does not look great on the 16:9 aircraft - ish. Consider creating 1280 x 800 for the Android source files and re-use for each rendition.

  (2) what do you mean by reusing the same "publication ID"? If you mean using the same ID of role/title Application for iOS and Android, yes you can, but it often complicates things. It is generally easier to create separate accounts (title IDs) for iOS and Android. If you mean something else by "publication ID", please specify.

  (3) the Amazon version should be fine, unless you have activated strict refunds (which you don't want to do in your case). Still, I can't understand the question.

  (4) it is not a problem to create a folio double orientation for rendering and a folio of single-direction for another interpretation.

  (5) which is a little tricky. If a user has already opened the application, the spectator is part rendering of 1024 x 768 and unfortunately does not check for a rendering again until the application itself in uninstalled/reinstalled.

  Regarding your question on the addition of "renditions" at this point, that's perfectly fine. Addition of "renditions" doesn't hurt existing users, and this makes things better for your new users.

  The key to success is to make sure that you configure your source files, so that they can be easily imported. Most of the editors take the road to "Shortcuts" sensible and create different renditions based on two or three sets of source files.

• Object with several States and slider in the "folio" are pixelated, settings seem correct.

  I can't keep an object with several States to be rasterized text, as well as a slider which is also dithering.

  I read that you are supposed to adjust the folio, and article up to be .pdf and the cursor should have the possibility of vector chosen.

  I have not found anything to object state multi for these parameters.

  What happens is when I exit the folio to Adobe Content Viewer, only the text of these items is rasterized. All other texts to be crispy. Tested on Mini iPad and iPad retina and both are blurred.

  Is there a way to force the vector option? It seems even with the selected options it is still screening test in interactive elements.

  I don't know if I missed something, but it seems to work now. Maybe the v26 option (I deleted the old folio and recreated, and it works as expected now.)

  Can you send me a link to information about the scrolling content and the position of the document? The method I used the frame was from an article of Adobe, although it could be old.
