[Ann] Animation Flex/AIR demo

Please find the demo of animation - a simulation of spaceship - here:

http://www.flexolero.com/demos/AIRAnim.zip

It is a project of the AIR, because I do not know where I moved the Flash Debug plugin for ;-)

In fact, the code can be placed in a Flex project too, because it contains really noting specific AIR. Some things need to be optimized, but this project could help to start.

If someone is going to refine the source, please post you changes here.

PS: Could some post a link where I can download the flash debug plugin?

Take a look at the version of Flex here:

  • Animation - new Version of Flex/AIR demo

    I put a new version of AnimDemo here:

    http://www.flexolero.com/demos/AIRAnim.zip

    Changes:

    -Migrated to the object-oriented design (the previous version was a quicks)
    -All the stuff of the framework are now in libAnim2D
    -CSceneManager maintains a list of CAnimatableItem objects, anime and check the collisions
    -CAnimatableItem now maintains a kind property
    -Sets for example a friend or enemy-delivery
    -Moreover, CAnimatableItem maintains a list of types with which they can have collisions
    -For example call a friend collide with the enemy, the enemy cannot collide with enemy.
    -CSceneManager uses these collidable types to calculate collisions of CAnimatableItems
    -Some mathematical function has moved to the C2DTools class, which exposes them as static
    -New class CAnimLabel that appears / disappears regularly
    -Example of code is now kept in the sampleApp folder

    The sample application is now much cleaner, because CSceneManager more complex things, but does inject a 'global' animation helper function by using the setFrameCallback() method.

    However, the framework implements no time-based animation.

    Just a note, that the archive

    http://www.flexolero.com/demos/AIRAnim.zip

    has been unfortunately empty. My fault. Yesterday, I solved the problem.

    Have a look here to review the application running in your browser:

    http://www.flexolero.com/demos/FlexAnim/FlexAnim

    Note that the current version is cached objects animated as bitmaps. On an XP with a Pentium DP, the demo makes 500 animated objects [ships] with a rate of about 30.

    Change the HSlider at the bottom right of the screen to change the number of moving on-screen objects.

  • Tutorial on the edition of Flex/Air app for Mac App Store, or simply using Developer ID for general distribution

    Everyone set up a tutorial on the publication of a Flex/AIR application for distribution as an OSX desktop application, or through Mac App Store, or just simply using the developer Certificate ID?

    In my time as a Flex developer, I've seen some well documented things and some that you had to dig for, but find clear instructions on this is really hard! I would have thought post your Flex/AIR application as a standalone application (captive runtime) users directly or through the Mac App Store (Apple Developer ID certificate signature) would be something that many people are trying to do. But most of the useful post there are dated or incomplete, as well as specifically targeted to iOS. In addition, whenever the AIR SDK changes it seems that many of the recent posts are no longer valid at certain stages.

    Many thanks for anyone who can provide some pointers or suggestions!

    The page of the official doc on presentation of the Mac App Store has been updated there is a little more than two months, recent changes in the recent SDK:

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/Flash-Player/KB/posting-air-app-Mac-app.html

    It must be current, even if I think I see typo in one of the appeals of command line that mentions "textcodesign", when it should just be "codesign".

  • Flex AIR for Flex Mobile

    I made a Flex AIR 4.5.1 for office project using Flash Builder 4.5 and I want to convert a Flex Mobile for use on Android.

    Is this possible?

    The answer to your last question is no, it does not work like that. The final construction must be configured and optimized for the target platform.

    What you need to do is put a little thought into the design of your project so that you can split your shared code that is platform-dependent code. Shared code would go in a separate and is library project used by your main application.

    You then create a project (or the configuration, if you are using a build advanced environment) for each platform that you plan to deploy to (desktop, mobile, web, etc.). The main application should contain little or no code. Above all, it serves just as a wrapper for the shared library code. This allows the application to be configured and optimized for the target platform while allowing you to use a library shared between platforms.

  • Twitter Feed within a Flex/Air Application

    I'm trying to move forward an appilcation I created so that it integrates a live webcam that is twitter account when users access the application their own Twitter account is shown it contains and is updated live.

    I have no experience in using either twitter itself or how to integrate twitter feeds specifically in a flex/air application and I was wondering if someone can tell me exactly what I need to do to get there?

    Another addition that my client asked is the use of live images. The application itself is basically an interactive favorites with users clicking menu on and adding links to sites within the app. Each of these links is represented by an icon that is actually a screenshot of each site. I want to change this so that those images, direct change AS the site themselves so that they are constantly updated. Is this also possible at all, and if so someone can give me advice on how this could be done?

    Put it in a flex RSS reader

  • Running files in Flex/AIR

    Hello.
    I created a simple Flex/AIR application and I wanted to start a presentation power point the application when the user clicks a button "launch". I need not the presentation power point to run in my application, it can work on the desktop (Windows XP). Wasn't sure if it was possible to launch files from AIR.

    Thank you.

  • Flash, Flex, AIR, which is best for the production of small interactive applications?

    Hello

    I posted on the flash forum but really looking for comments of flash, flex, users of AIR so

    I'm looking for ideas of forums with advice on which of the current technology of Adobe (CS5) is best suited for creating of small interactive applications/packages by users who would not no matter what coding background and very little interest in learning about coding.

    The idea is that users would know base drag & drop development and perhaps expand to include certain scripts base over the elements of it. The ability to develop applications for a range of (mobile office, Web site, computer) access points would also be an added advantage

    Over arching idea would be to let users create apps/programs/packages quickly on any topic they like but not to bog them down with coding

    What are technologies CS5 would be best for this

    They were technically "released -" but are not yet shipping.  I consider the release when they start to ship, but is usually around a month from the 'official' version until they have begin to ship and are actually released.

    The online store has them all in pre-order at the moment and said that they are supposed to ship around mid-May.

  • How to convert project based on the web/flash flex AIR project

    I created a new project using Flex Builder 3. When he was asked to select the type of application, I choose the web application (ie, run using flash). Now I also want to make the application as a desktop application (i.e. based on air demand), is there a way to export or convert my existing application based on flash to become an AIR-based application?

    In general, it is possible to switch between applications based on flash and focused application on AIR on the fly, i.e. without creating a new project and by copying all the files to the new project.

    I don't think you can do it on the fly. Usually create us new AIR and copy paste the code.
    I hope this helps.

  • Behavior of the XML in Flex vs Flex/AIR class

    Hi, I created a small application without AIR which simply wraps the text value of a TextArea in a XML tags using the XML class (and the 'escape()' function) as shown in the attached code (see "application not PNEUMATIC").

    The resulting XML is as follows (when seen in the debugger and recorded by the PHP script):
    < list >
    < element >... .text value of TextArea... < / point >
    < / list >

    In my real application, I then sends this via an HTTPService to a PHP script on my server. The PHP script receives the XML code in its entirety, no problem.

    When I wrote an equivalent (same code) AIR application (see "AIR Application" in the attached code), the XML formatting becomes (when seen in the debugger and recorded by the PHP script):
    < list >
    & lt; point & gt;... text value of TextArea... & lt; / point & gt;
    < / list >

    When you send this through the HTTPService, the parent < list > tag is removed, which causes the PHP script to fail.

    Is this a normal behavior and is there a way to get around this? I looked in the forums, but any reference to this strange behavior between AIR and no AIR Flex change is not found.

    Anyone else has the same problem?

    Thank you

    Marc

    Hi rtalton and thanks for the thoughts. This got me thinking about how the XML class constructor and appendChild methods should be called and found the question.

    It seems that appeal to the "appendChild" method AIR produces a result different than when not in the AIR, which is curious in itself.

    However, I changed my code to be 'good' according to the documentation, and it worked under AIR and airless. Here's what I changed:

    The appendChild method is now called as follows:

    list.appendChild ({escape (taText.text)});

    The quotes have been removed and I'm dealing is no longer the XML as a string.

    So, while I was there, I changed the call to the constructor as follows:

    list = new XML ();

    Same here, no longer treat the XML as a string.

    Thank you

    Marc

  • If someone managed to play Stagevideo with 4.6 Flex / AIR 20 +?

    Our project IOS Flexmobile plays beautifully for many year and updates of Air StageVideo.

    That is until we have created a new version with AIR 20 (and 21, 22Beta)

    No code changes were made to the AIR 19 SDK version that plays the video scene perfectly.

    Here is the error:

    StageVideoAvailabilityEvent returns 'available'.

    If we try to attachNetStream, but nothing.

    However the StageVideoEvent. RENDER_STATE returns the status of make StageVideo (software/hardware):not available

    (StageVideoEvent.RENDER_STATE event.codecInfo had the value null and event.colorSpace was "unknown")

    We use vimeo for video pro and began compiling under Windows with FB 4.7.

    The IPAD 2 is running IOS 9.2

    We use the standard StageVideo code swamps:

    protected function onStageVideoAvailable(event:StageVideoAvailabilityEvent):void

    {

    If (event.availability == 'available')

    {

    stage.removeEventListener (StageVideoAvailabilityEvent.STAGE_VIDEO_AVAILABILITY, onStageVideoAvailable);

    SV = stage.stageVideos [0];

    sv.attachNetStream (ns);

    sv.addEventListener (StageVideoEvent.RENDER_STATE, onRenderState);

    sv.viewPort = new Rectangle (point.x, point.y, kvidFrame.videoWidth, kvidFrame.videoHeight);

    stageVideoSetup = true;

    {if (NS)}

    NS. Play (getSourceDef (videoToPlayVid));

    this.setStyle ('backgroundAlpha', ' 0.0 ')

    }

    This is resolved.

    Turns out that you can't broadcast no HTTPS stream spent AIR20 +.

  • Edge animation to Air

    I can compile a project dashboard animate in Adobe Air. Any page or info pointing to this possibility?

    Att.,.

    Edwin Merced

    I see. You can compile html in AIR, so, theoretically, you should be able to compile AIR dash:

    http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/air/samples_javascript.html

    Note that with the new creative cloud distribution, which allows faster new deployments of feature, I'm sure we'll see many new things coming from Flash, html5 on. Don't give up on it yet!

  • SQLite error in Flex/Air application:

    I'm doing a simple query from inside and demand for Air SQLite:

    Statement.text = 'SELECT Ingredient' +
               'FROM Ingredients'+
               'WHERE FoodCatagory_FK = 6'

    It works fine when I exicute the query in SQLite Manager, however in the Air, I get the following error:

    SQLError: 'Error #3115: SQL Error.', details:'near 'FoodCatagory_FK': syntax error', operation:'execute', detailID:'2003'

    Don't know why it doesn't work, it seems pretty Strait forward.

    Thank you

  • Flex Air App... and SQLite

    I was hoping that someone can point me in the direction to learn the SQLite on Adobe Air... I need something simple to start... Most of what I found is quite complicated, and get kind of confused...

    You create the database running?

  • Flex, AIR and the video streams remotely

    Lets say I want to connect two AIR applications, running on two computers of different work and video stream directly from one to the other. How could I go about this? Would it not possible to use the NetConnect and NetStream classes?

    Documentation of NetConnect said basically, that if its not connect to FMS, it can connect to a local file or a file on a Web server. However, the same documentation also says that the command of the connect method parameter is of the following form:

    protocol:[//host][:port]/appname[/instanceName]

    so, I wonder what protocols are supported? would be TCP: UDP or: work? (I doubt it because it seems that it requires a file name for access instead of just a port)

    Since the support lock frame writes to a file, I thought it might be possible to connect two clients with the help of the Socket classes and then write the incoming stream to a file, which could then be read by NetConnect + NetStream.

    It seems to me terribly backwerds and he brings on another problem on the client sends the stream, if I use NetConnect + Netscream to connect to a file and uses the features of transmission/dissemination, he actually write to this file? And besides, wouldn't be a writer of blocking? Ffrom looking at this part of the framework, I really suspect adobe wants me to use FMS full stop (I mean, how it would be difficult to offer a generic binary stream?) ... which is fair play, but it has no presence for any AIR application that needs to send his our video directly to another customer. You might think, why not 'just' to use FMS, but the thing is:

    Why would a: I? It's 1-to-1 very simple 'power' flow? Why put a server between two clients just for fun?
    B: video could stick as a Bloodsucker a little bandwidth on the server, the bandwidth costs money, internet bandwidth of customer connection are free of charge in most cases.

    All that being said, I don't know much on FMS... He would let a customer enroll in a stream on the server, and then have other clients connect directly to that customer by subscribing to the feed? or steam should go well the server?

    Anyway, any input would be appreciated, the question is really quite simple. Direct video connection between two clients of the AIR... thoughts?

    Hello

    You can use RTMFP and stratus FP10 for this.
