Annoying message: the battery installed on this computer is not genuine lenovo battery

Hi all!

Does anyone know how to pass the message about "battery lenovo not authentic? It will be nice to hide a black with (!) triangle in the status bar as well.

Thank you.

If it doesn't have the typical marks of an original, then it is probably a spare battery.   without seeing a picture of your exact battery, it is difficult to say.

Sanyo does not spare batteries, but a replacement battery could use sanyo cells.   the issue is less with the cells and more with circuit board used since it is what controls the battery itself.   a faulty or badly done battery could cause problems, that's why lenovo recommends against the use of authentic everything except batteries.

the software Lenovo power manager is responsible for the pop-up message that you see.   your only option to prevent the message would be to uninstall the power manager.   If you do, remember to let the power management driver installed as your system needs this.

  • Re: update the Bios Z830 Satellite: "this computer is not supported.

    Hello

I replaced the Windows preinstalled with an installation of Fedora 16, - which works perfectly btw - and hope
to solve the "Windows only Bios update problem" with a Windows 7 bootable USB drive, which works again
great so far, but the BIOS160_EC130_WIN.exe said simply: "this computer is not supported." ...

    Any ideas appreciated.

    Bernd

    Hello

You cannot update the BIOS under Linux and using a victory based version of the BIOS.
You will need to use the image of preinstalled Toshiba.

    Hello

I upgraded my hard drive and recreated my system (Windows 7 SP1) of a disk image. I now get the message "Windows is not genuine", but can't validate online by following the instructions.

I had a discussion with the support of Microsoft yesterday who told me that the problem has been resolved, but - it is not!

FYI I also can't run Windows Update service.

Following other users posts I have tun the MGADiag utility, which is output as follows:

    Hello

    Thanks for the reply.

I checked the logs provided by you and according to my research, it seems that Windows is preinstalled on the computer and in this case, the product key is provided by the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

I would ask you to contact the OEM to get the product key and also for support on Windows activation.

We know the State of the question.

  • This computer does not meet the minimum requirements... when installing graphics Intel HD 4000 for my Dell Vostro 5560 with Windows 7 64 bit

In recent days, I reinstall Windows 7 to my Dell Vostro 5560 and this laptop does not have a driver CD, I downloaded all the required drivers for my laptop directly from the Dell Support Web site. I started to install a step by step. Chipsets, Audio, network, MEI, etc... However, once I try to install graphics, this laptop comes with 2 graphics card, an Intel and another is Nvidia. So, I try to install first Intel. When I click on the exe file, a message box appears saying that «this computer does not meet the minimum requirements...» ». Why is - what happened? I'm sure that my laptop include Intel graphics. Please help me as soon as POSSIBLE. I want to install Windows 7.

Some drivers of today require at least Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5. Is this possible?

It is certainly. AMD demanded 4 .NET. x + for their installer drivers for several years already, but I think they have started including with their driver downloads recently.

-I never noticed if Nvidia use .NET with their drivers Installer, install but .NET 4.5.

Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 of the official Microsoft Download Center

    .

  • This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software

    Hello

I try to install the graphics driver on my laptop Dell Inspiron N5010 (I tried this three R252283, R257270 and R285472). But every time I get the error indicating that "this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software.

Here are the details of my laptop configuration:

Core i3 processor, RAM 3 GB, windows 7 64-bit Operating system

Makes sense, you do not have the integrated Intel graphics card, but rather have an AMD graphics card, install it:

    http://ftp.Dell.com/video/R272410.exe

  • "the settings saved on this network do not match the network requirement" is the message that I get when I try to connect to my wifi

I changed my router to another wireless.  Since then, my laptop cannot connect to my wifi.  When I search my wireless network, it is exed out in red.  and the message "the settings saved on this network do not match the network requirement"... Please help

    [moved from comments]

    Hey Mike,

-What version of Windows is installed on the computer?

This problem usually occurs with wireless networks. I suggest you try the suggestions in http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-networking/the-settings-saved-on-this-computer-does-not-match/a82432f2-9312-480a-b2ea-720033c73387

Let us know if this can help, or if you have any questions.

  • I have Windows 7 genuine, but I get messages saying that this computer is not running genuine Windows

I get the message of Windows Activation technologies "this computer is not running Windows" for the last few days. When I click on 'Set online now' it takes me on the Microsoft site and offers I buy the new sofware. My Windows 7 is genuine and has been installed on my Sony Vaio again, so obviously I don't want to buy it again. After reviewing on community support area, I saw that MGADiag generates a report that could help solve the problem and it is copied below. Any help would be welcome.

    Hello Vik.in,

If you upgrade your Windows Vista,

    1. Open Control Panel by clicking the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
    2. Click on system and security.
    3. Click on Administrative Tools.
    4. Double-click computer management. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    5. In the navigation pane, click on disk management under storage.
    6. Select the volume that contains the existing installation of Windows Vista. In general, it is the C drive.
    7. Right-click on the volume and select Mark Partition as Active.
    8. Click Yes to confirm the action

Note At this point, the existing Windows installation will not be able to start until the remaining steps are complete.

    9. Close computer management.

  • NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT: the driver is installed for this device is not compatible with Windows 7 (from Vista 32-bit)

Hi all, I am interested in my Sony Vaio AR41L (under Vista 32 bit SP2) upgrade to Windows 7, but when I run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor, it tells me that, for the graphics card, NVIDIA GeForce 8400 M GT, the driver "installed for this device is not compatible with Windows 7.

Apparently, NVIDIA is not a solution and sent people to Sony, and Sony say that they have not updated the drivers for Windows 7 and that we do not know when they expect to do...

All known and solved this problem?  Any suggestions would be very helpful!

    Thanks in advance.

  • This computer is not running genuine Windows) x8004fe22

I started the thing, it's SCAM.  I called support and they told me that switching from XP to windows 7 was necessary.  So, I bought a copy of Windows 7 Home.  Then the party began.  THIS COMPUTER IS NOT RUNNING GENUINE WINDOWS.  Support and said thI had bought an illegal copy (NOT AUTHENTIC) and needed to purchase through MICROSOFT.  More money to spend.  So, I bought a copy of Windows 7 Pro.  Well Yes, I still get the same error.  Suppor; t ran the computer for two hours and said that it was my VIRUS program and I needed a better (MORE EXPENSIVE) program.  Hmmmm.  If somebody got this error and actually had it fixed with having to spend more money?  I think request a paper copy of windows, and then remove the hard drive.  Re-install and reload.  Data backup is with my VIRUS provider.

As far as I know, no MS tech is be formed in MGADiag results until they reach level 3 - which is essentially Enterprise support.

I read something like 20,000 reports in recent years - probably 10 times more than anyone else in the Tower of ivory or 3 ;)
