No previous difficulty following links via Firefox. When I click on the down-pointing triangle, a popup opens with content; However, when I click on 'Open with Firefox', the window closes. In the same 24 hour period, I tried to enter data in a form online with the same experience. By clicking on the link produces the above error message. By clicking on the triangle pointing open down the form, but the form closed when I tried to enter data in the fields. Thank you.
It was very good work. Play well.

Hello Tazdmx83,

This problem usually occurs on wireless network connections. I suggest that you turn off any wireless security feature by following the steps below.
1. click on start and control access panel.
2. double-click on network connections
3. right click on the wireless adapter and select Properties.
4. Select wireless networks, click the name of your wireless network and choose Properties.

6. Please try to connect.
If the problem persists, I suggest that you remove the connection and re-create the wireless network connections. The following Web site can help you on the creation of the wireless connection.

I can't connect to shared network computers. Not a problem already before the update to OS X El Capitan. The computers appear in the Finder under heading Shared, but when I try to connect it says connection failed. However, under Parallels Windows 7 I can properly connect via the shortcut or mapped drive. Any suggestions?
El Capitan is a bit fussy about safety. Try
Finder > go > connect to server...
and enter the address of the server explicitly in the dialog box that appears.

original title: Win xp family is unable to connect to Win 7.
I have a win xp top of tower that connects wireless to a belkin router cheap
I have a laptop Win 7 pro that is connected to the router.
The Win 7 machine is NOT configured to House groups.
We are all on the same workgroup.I added the user name of the XP machine the machine to Win 7 pro with admin rights.
I shared a folder on Windows 7 and added the username and gave read/write rights.I don't have a software firewall.
When I try to connect through Explorer win via the Working Group, I see the Win 7 machine (10 seconds).
I see the folder 'User' that I can go and I see the folder I shared but I can't access it. Access denied...What happens on Earth!
I solved this problem to upgrade to Windows 7 Pro.
Now, if someone could answer just my Q on WHS 2011... What would be fantastic :D

This note also appears when I try to doownload a new font.
If it is a typo and the name of the file is really cscdll.dll, this file is a Windows system file and must be located in C:\Windows\system32.
Do a search on your entire drive for cscdll.dll.
cscdll.dll should be protected by Protection files Windows system, but if he somehow has been removed, you can have a copy in C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386.

What should I do when I can not enter a password when you try to connect to a wifi network
I'm currently traveling but I am unable to choose a network from the list of networks that appear. (I entered it from a family computer.) Then when I click on connect, it takes me to the screen to enter the password. However, it won't let me type the password. I tried to copy the password of a MSWord document and it copied 8 nine characters, but still wouldn't let me add the last character. Any ideas?
I must point out however that I have just went to Starbucks and was able to connect to their wireless network without having to enter a password, and I don't have a problem connecting to my home network either. Thanks for your help.
Jim

This give a try.
Start button > select RUN > type of services. MSC
The following services are required by the Windows Update process.
In the services (services.msc) management console may NOT be * Disabled * in the startup type.
They show a manual or automatic startup type.
Here are services and their startup types:
Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) manual
Automatic encryption services
Remote Procedure Call (RPC) automatic
Restoration of the automatic system of Service
Another suggestion: browser in Internet Explorer > main menu Tools/Options Internet > Security tab / click the Green Trusted Sites icon / click Sites.
Click 'require a server secure (https :) for all sites in this zone' to * clear * the selection.
In the ' add this Web site to the zone: "field, add these entries to the list of"Trusted Sites"- type
http://download.windowsupdate.com (click to add)

Click OK. Apply the changes.
Also, make sure that you are connected with administrator rights when you access Windows Update.

It is a POS system where a machine acts as a server. 2 machines are on their own network.
When you share the folder on the server, make sure that you set both the regular folder permissions and share permissions (on security and the sharing of the folder properties tabs). The two sets of permissions must be set to allow access.
