Annoying noise

Hello all, my computer Vostro laptop play this annoying sound, everything works apart from this continuous jingle every 20-30 min. It looks like four notes then delay of 2 seconds, then repeat. then he goes on to play again after 20-30 minutes again. Any idea, david

Sounds opened by a right click on the Volume icon on the right side of the taskbar. Then test all the sounds until you find the boring one and change it to None.

whenever I have to listen to music or anything like that and my laptop speakers are on... I won't be able to listen to music instead of that there will be an annoying noise resembles: 'TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT' until I press the mute. But if I listen to music through headphones, I can hear perfectly but I also hear of my fingers typing on the keyboard and if there was someone I talk I'd listen to the echo and and if there was a TV on, the sound of the TV will be higher. I took it to a professional man to fix it and he did. But he continues to go on and on. Any help?

  • Get a clock annoying noise that I can't get rid of

I was very irritating click.  I tried several things, but can't get rid of it. I made sure windows updates are completed.  I tried to cut the system sounds.  I ran antivirus scans.  I run malware scans.  Nothing comes.  I checked all programs and processes running, and nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. I can't watch videos or listen to anything without the irritating ticking noise.  The only thing that has worked is to cut the volume (but then I can't watch or listen to anything because there is no noise at all).

I am running Windows Vista Home Edition, Service Pack 1.

Any ideas?  That noise is driving me crazy!

    Thank you!

  • Annoying noise in Windows 7

When running Windows 7, I get this intermittent noise (iof kind sound like a splat).  It will happen several times for a minute or two, and then it could be an hour before I hear it again.  I tried the selection procedure "No. Sounds" under "Start Navigation" without success.  Pretty frustrating!  Help, please.

Please also note that it is very like that noise could be caused by another application.  Probably, it is a program that is running in the notification area of the taskbar such as Skype or another Messenger or an e-mail notifier.  In addition, the application that generates the sound can run as a system service on a hidden desktop where you can't interact with it.

As the noise you describe does not seem to be all the sounds by default in the operating system, I ask what applications are running or installed on the system.

If it solves your problem, click on the link "Propose as answer" below and vote as useful by clicking on the green triangle for the lelft. Thank you!

When I record any source as internal IDT MIC or stereo mix idt that the record is always of poor quality and reverb and metallic sounds, even when it's a recording internal and mic is disabled I use incliuded reforced his internla with WIN 8.

I'm trying to pilot IDT rollback however is the one and only available at HP. I also tried a full installation with options preset, vain.

Then I installed a new device from creative 24 bit gold USB external, but with the same results once the recording device is always fixed to use an IDT device, so the source of the error is the IDT device. • Satellite L555-10R - annoying fan noise

For a long time, I ve been having this problem with my laptop: when I have a Skype video call, watch TV Online, or sometimes with video files, the fan also sounds as he works hard, and the people I have video calls with also complain that they heard this annoying noise.

But lately it has gotten worse, and sometimes the laptop stops. I guess it's a kind of defence against overheating, mechanism (?)

How to deal with this problem?

    Hello

If you have this problem for a long time, why you didn t contacted Toshiba service and clarify this?
    Warranty is still valid?

  • When I plug my A100-003 on an amplifier, I get a strange noise

When I plug the headphones off-one amplifier, I get a very strange and annoying noise, a noise that resembles a frequency. If I liked - headphone that noise disappears, it only happens with amplifiers!
I'm a dj and I need plugin amplifiers all the time to play my music. Everyone goy no idea why this phenomenon occurs? Is my headphones off and needs to be replaced? * I bought the computer only 2 days before...

    Hello

I know your problem because I had the same.
One solution is to the mass of the laptop with your amplifier. Simply take a shielded wire, connect a tail of the wire to the groundconnector of your amp (usually for your turntable) and the other the tail to a point mass of your laptop. A connectpoint on your laptop can be for example the screws of your serial port or a VGA Port, or maybe with your SVHS-port.

  • Satellite L505-13n makes a strange noise at startup

    Hello

I have a problem with my satellite L505-13n.

Listen to what is the problem:
It makes a very annoying noise when it starts.
This sound comes from the speakers. I can't describe the sound, but I can't stand it!

I noticed that when I move the power wire, the noise changed at the rate lower or higher.

    Could someone suggest me something?
Sorry for my English, if something is frustrating, let me know

    Hello

I don't know if this will be useful, but I found this Toshiba document which provides a solution if you hear a hissing sound coming out of speakers of m.

    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB0402UB0001R01.htm

Disable the microphone volume in the speakers properties.
    This could help.

  • Satellite M40-184 and noise problem

I bought two days ago, this laptop and I already found two problems. The first is that always before the speakers seem to start working a strange noise (ICT) and it is very annoying for me. Is there a problem with the speakers.

The second problem is that when I use the laptop for more than two hours the AC adapter also makes a very annoying noise. He is also very strong (more strong that fans or anything else). Is it normal to do what noise?

    Thank you

    Hi Manos,

I'm not sure of the sound from your speakers, normally I wait till they're totally calm, unless a job is running that use.

Regarding your power adapter, should make any noise at all. It can become hot for what is quite normal. I would recommend the adapter/notebook back to your provider as soon as possible.

    Kind regards

  • M40 - noise monitor

I just bought a satellite M40 and now I noticed that the screen is a low but constant and annoying noise. Is this normal?

At least, I think that it is the monitor, because, if the monitor turns off, as in the setings saving power noise stops and will just start again when he goes.

    Hi Jose,

There should be no noise of your screen at all. I suggest you to return your laptop to your provider to be extracted.

    Kind regards
