  Easy I know, but I couldn't find it.   I am looking for a way to get a @PARENTVAL in another hierarchy of shared members.  If I'm correct or check if the CURRMBR is a member of the alternative hierarchy, ancestor references will only be in this area?

  Yes, it is not the largest element of documentation ever.

  This is perhaps a more useful example.  In Sample.Basic, I created two members dynamic calc:

  "Sales of parent" formula: =@PARENTVAL ("product", "Sales");

  "Power Parent Sales" formula: =@SPARENTVAL ("Diet", "Sales");

  'Régime' is another hierarchy.  Look at the values for the products below.  You can see that with @PARENTVAL, I always get the primary parent of hierarchy, but with @SPARENTVAL I choose the parent sales in a specified hierarchy.  Interesting to note that if the Member is not at all a part of the hierarchy 'Diet' @SPARENTVAL just gets the value of the hierarchy of the main.  It is perhaps which means that the ILO "closest to the basis of events '...  I expect a little #Missing if I ask @SPARENTVAL ("Diet", "Sales") for a product that does not appear in the hierarchy "Diet", but this isn't how it works, of course.

  It seems to me that you try to create the new entity rather than re - using the members list. Follow the steps below:

  #1-début hyperion Financial Management Client (start--> programs--> Hyperion Financial Management--> financial management)
  #2-click on the option manage metadata to the left
  #3-click the open file button (assuming that you have a file)
  #a - browse and locate your metadata file
  #4-click on the item in metadata dropdown box and select entity
  #5-si the Parent 1 Parent 2, Co A, Co B have not been created, create them now. Place Co and Co Abbots and children of parents 1.
  #6-click on the tab indicating the list of members (by default, its member attributes on)
  #7-locate A Co and B Co and drag them to the Parent 2. This will add the Parent 2.
  #8-save your file of course

  You need several hierarchies enabled. 2010 weekend Sam must be stored separate hierarchies.

  BTW - it would be easier and I think on a higher functional level if you have used a dim attribute instead of an alt roll up, but your choice.

  "Full year" is your basic hierarchy.

  Now, suppose that you work for a chief financial officer who is very superstitious and believes that all the months that start with the letter 'J' are bad luck because he had a traumatic experience when he was a kid in July. Anyway, he wants to follow the activity during the months that begin with 'J' and asks you to create a hierarchy of alternative.

  It would be like this

  "Months of bad luck.
  -Jan + (shared member)
  -June + (members in common)
  -Jul + (members in common)

  If your alternative hierarchy consists of "shared" your basic hierarchy. It allows you to group members in another way ("alternate").

  I need to retrieve an alias to a different hierarchy.  Let me explain:

  

  The members of YOUR hierarchy, in the TA_Name attribute are derived.  However, they already exist in the hierarchy of the portfolio.  The only downside is that members of the PFC are different between the portfolio and YOUR hierarchy, as shown above.

  I need to write a formula derived in order to enter the alias in the hierarchy of the portfolio.

  I have it so far, but it only gives me the correct alias for the members of the PPP:

  HierNodePropValue (Portfolio, Substring (Abbrev (), 1, 9), Custom.DRM.GLOBAL_ALIAS)

  Try this-

  Don't forget that your export is expected to use the field delimiter that remains "Tab", everything remains the same until now-

  The Name property has some changes, try this as a derivative 'script '.

  Change all Core.Descr in my script with the name of the Alias property, also ensure that the portfolio hierarchy name is correct, make sure that you replace Custom.ParentTest with the name of your parent property

• HFM another set hierarchy in place the question

  Hello!
  I need to set up another hierarchy who said ' keep company (a company consolidated level) then company B (one of her children) him. I can see how to set up the hierarchy which would add things together, but not how to set one up that would have subtracted from another entity.
  
  If someone has been able to do this successfully? Is this possible? If so, please help :)

  There is no easy way to do it. You couldn't have something with the rules, but I wouldn't recommend it. Why not establish a hierarchy that omits the entity you want to take away or create a new node that does not include it.

• Cannot generate an alt with load rule hierarchy

  I try to use a rule of load to build a hierarchy of alternative to ASO.
  
  I used level build (Lev 0, 1 Lev, Lev 2 and so on).
  
  But when I run it it gives me the error incorrect Parent for each record

  \\Record #3...
  error.
  
  I tried to not build level 0 and only level 1 and upwards and it gives me a \\Column 2 failed Validation. I tried to use the generation to generation and it gives me the same thing. I tried to use only level build for children below the Summit, and it's the same thing.
  
  In the build settings Sun, I put already "allow change of ownership.

  To create another hierarchy using level of generations, you need to have the cumulative primary and the other in the files (at least 1 for the primary level) using Cameron favorite sample basic database, if we want to create the hierarchy product for drinks carbonated diet a level build methid file and rule should look like to (Note I do not know if the product numbers are actually coupons for basic example)
  In my example, I'll use
  100-10 = cola (no hierarchy replacing)
  100 20 = diet Cola
  200-20 = root beer diet

  LEv0, LEv1, Prouct Lev1 product, product
  100-10 100
  Soft 100-20 100 diets
  Soft 200-20 200 diets

  Of course, you could add more to the file as properties, additional levels, alias, etc. but the format should be like this.

• Can I refer to a rangelist in a hierarchy of shared member?

  I would like to make the sum of a series of accounts based on one hierarchy, not the main hierarchy.  In the hierarchy of the main, they are 1,5,4,3,2, and in the alt hierarchy, they are shared in the good order of 1,2,3,4,5.  If I reference the rank 1:3, how can you ensure that I get 1,2,3,4 and not 1,5,4,3?

  Background:

  Basically, I'm trying to map a sum of numerical range of account numbers in general ledger to another account of management based on the members of the other 2 dimensions.  The main problem I have is that, as I have not found the function that can sort in alphanumeric order a list within a selection of members, and my GL accounts are not in the order in the hierarchy of main due to a reorganization of their parents, I loaded as a sorted list of platform of shared to another hierarchy members.  Now, I just @LIST (1:3, [the optional to use as reference parent node]) function.  I guess another way of asking the question might be: how to reference the member names in Essbase as digital beaches as you would in an ERP?

• 11.1.2.2 shared member / issue Ad-Hoc hierarchy

  First post here... hope I give enough information.

  We have recently upgraded to 11.1.2.2.

  When retrieving a Ad Hoc which was already built and comes from 11.1.2.0 several times, several Member in the excel worksheet names are passed to a [parent]. format [child].  Pursuit of the investigation, these members that have changed are shared members and the being displayed was a common parent.  We could enter the name of the parent member, but he always comes back to the [parent]. format [child].  It seems that if an Ad - Hoc contains a shared member is to convert all members that exist as a member shared somewhere in the main lines in this format.  He is also behind those rows to lose their force excellent formulas.

  My guess is that it's perhaps related to essbase now supports duplicate names in the general plan and that the parent is required in these cases to differentiate.  However, we have not enabled on this schema of databases of duplicate names.

  Is that what anyone has experienced similar behavior, if yes you have a solution or a correction which took care of the issue?  Did I miss an option in SmartView?

  Anyone know how to load another hierarchy of attribute dimension interface ODI? I guess they allow replacing hierarchies in the dimensions of the attribute?

  If you're talking about created a hierarchy of shared so no it is not possible that you should not be able to do in planning.
  If it's just another hierarchy in the dimension of your attribute then you should be able to charge members of parent/child to build using ODI.

• Moving rows in a DataGrid by using another control

  I have a datagrid with data I need to prioritize. It must be done with the possibility to highlight any line in the datagrid control, and then clicking another control containing upwards and downwards and the arrows to start & tobottom, will set the priority by moving the highlighted line upwards or downwards in the datagrid. Can someone consider a possible solution I have not met all messages with this type of requirements and think that coding will be well beyond my basic knowledge of Flex.

  It is difficult to tell if it s a defective GPU or the internal laptop display.
  You can try to connect an external monitor to the laptop to check if something appears on the second monitor.

  If you see any picture or anything else so I guess that the graphics card is dead.
  This could be the case value because the GPU is fixed on the Board and that's why the whole motherboard replacement would be necessary.

  Seems you have to reach a point of service authorized in your country for the control of the laptop and the diagnosis of the error.

  If the warranty is valid everything should be done for free!

• Several roots of QML

  What is the best approach for scenario where, since the launch of the application, I need to make a pre-treatment and display the user interface which is not at all linked with the user interface of the application.

  Specifically, I need to make the database integrity checks (when the application is started) and view the user with the message / dialogues in case it came from the db.

  I want to my C++ do this logic and if necessary creates QMLDocument root with a QML file specific and actionable in this QML file back to C++ and create another QMLDocument with a main application root and QML files.

  So I would not complicate my QML mainshaft with QML unnecessary objects that only use at the start and a clear separation between the main application and the boot process.

  One approach is to view a worksheet on the application startup, then reject and destroy the sheet when it is no longer necessary.

  You can describe the entire sheet in qml or create a sheet of .cpp, and then load a page of qml using QmlDocument then add the page to the sheet and so on. Basically, all objects can be instantiated from qml and then destroyed when is no longer necessary.

  It should also be possible to replace the scene of enforcement by another hierarchy of controls by calling request: instance()-> setScene() but there will be no transition animation in this case I think. It is possible to animate the transition manually, but it's going to require more work.
