  Hi all

  I am trying to create a route for the updated plan overlay direct semi. Currently, I'm trying to understand how the game a value in pixels in the command ForeignWindow transperant so I can draw my lines inside, then superimpose on mapview. It appers that the only possible pixel values available are between 0 and 255, which leads me to believe the transparency with this control is not always possible because with this limit, I can even clone the image under my control.

  Is there a way I can manually pull on any other control to achieve the desired effect?

  Pixels have an RGBA value, where RGB is the color between 1 and 255, and A is the alpha value, carried out by Alpha Composition. For each pixel and it associated the pointer, R = [point], G = [pointer + 1], B [pointer + 2] = and a = [pointer + 3]. Focus on changing the alpha value of your pixels.

  On a side note, I tried to do a very similar thing on another project. I don't know that it is possible, in some way, with a bitmap image.

  I'm hoping to create an interactive map, where if you hover over a part of the photo card appears.

  Many years ago, I used to be able to design a similar thing using the Macromedia Flash software, I realize account changed to Adobe Flash, then animate CC. This sounds like something that I would be able to do now in Adobe animate CC and if so, I am easily able to save interactive as HTML5 file, so that it can be viewed on different devices?

  Yes, you can use animate pro for this.

  you would animate pro and start creating an html5 project.  your interactive map could be created using any code if you use the buttons to the constituent parts of your card and add the popups for the frame.

  If you want it to work with touch devices, you probably want to use the code to toggle popups on touch or mousedown events.

• Any attempt to create results by "Access denied" error zip file

  Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.  I am logged in as administrator.  UAC is not active on this machine.

  Any attempt to create a zip file results in a dialog box stating "unable to complete the operation.  Access is denied. "

  If I select a file or group of files/folders, do a right click and say 'Send to Zip', I get this error.  Interestingly, while the error dialog box is still open, the zip file will be displayed in the current folder.  Clicking OK in the box dialog error cancels the dialog box and deletes the zip file.

  This seems to be some sort of permissions thing.  Can I create a zipfile by clicking right in the Explorer window by clicking on "new", then "compressed (zipped) folder", and it will create the file very well.  I can even give it a name.  Any attempt to copy anything in this new zip file generates an error "file not found or no read permission.  Try to delete the zip file says 'you need permission from administrators to make changes to this file.
  So now, I open the properties for the zip file and go to the Security tab.  It was there that I discovered that this file has no owner are entrusted to him.  I can then change owners, add my name as the owner of the file, assign full control to myself, apply the changes, and now the zip file can be read/written/removed normally.

• Interactive map with Flash

  I'm a bit new to Flash.
  
  I am creating an Interactive map of the State of Tennessee, reflecting every county in Tennessee. Below the interactive map will be a list of the names of all counties. When a user places the mouse over a name, then the county on the map will change color. Essentially a substitution effect. When the user clicks on the name of the county or county on the map, then the user will be directed to a page that displays information about that country. The information is retrieved from a database.

  I would like to start off the coast with a detailed map of good quality in tennessee that all counties marked on it and is of a size suitable for your final flash. Then put this in Flash and use the drawing tool to draw around a County, press F8 to convert it to a symbol, converts it to a button and then use keyframes in the button to give it different roll on, and then click effects. Repeat for all counties, delete the original image that you used to draw around and then you have an interactive map. You can thenassign actions to buttons which loads to the top a movie clip under the plan and that fill with the contents of your database. I did something to it earlier, and even if it's your time shouldn't be too difficult for you. He just keep this high building of button and save and test regularly.

  Use a multi state object. According to how many point of interest you want on this map, it can become quite involved.

• How to create an interactive PDF with variable data

  We basically have a "mail merge" to our list of customers with an interactive PDF file (including videos, menus, etc. - not only form fill and web links) to create a single PDF that contains several pieces of mail... one for each customer... with each total mail being customized for this customer.  Customizations would include different greetings (Bob dear, dear Dana, etc), as well as the different graphs based on unique data to the client, photographs, etc.

  I saw that InDesign and Acrobat Professional can be used to create an interactive PDF (such as http://tv.adobe.com/watch/ask-the-adobe-ones/14-calling-rufus-about-interactive-pdf-making).  But I don't understand how I can insert data into a database, csv, excel etc. in the PDF file file so that each page, or each set of pages in the PDF file can be customized.

  Can someone tell me a tool to use for this?

  I'm new on this and didn't know InDesign could do a data merge, thank you for pointing that out.

  However, we currently produce hundreds of thousands of personalized daily electronic documents, a PDF file or Web user interaction (no, this isn't spam or junk mail).  Our customers have asked us to focus on the generation of personalized interactive PDFs and I fear that the volume could overwhelm InDesign.  My other concern is that all of our work performed automatically (we run hundreds every day) and it is not possible to have a person to sit down, then run InDesign manually for each job.  Our standard operating system need a certain version of unix (AIX or linux), although we can perform tasks under windows if necessary.  It seems, as InDesign will fit in this environment?  If not, is there something else out there?

  I have Adobe CC and would like to know the best way to create a map that you do Pan autour, perform a zoom and zoom, with features on this topic (such as bus lines, trails, parking, locations, etc.). I heard of the OSM in InDesign, and integration of Google maps in Muse. But I want a combination of these things. It must be in a format that works in the form of web content, so that the user can click on things to highlight and zoom in for what they are interested in and pan around. It would be useful to use Google Maps as a basis if possible, and then add my own details (such as the lines of bus etc.). I could create a map at the base from scratch but understand this would lengthen the process significantly. This would require training in animation software, or web site design? And is it available on Lynda.com? I already have a subscription.

  I think that Flash Pro (soon to be renamed to animate CC) is what you need.   Yes, it will probably training. There are a lot of tutorials for Flash Pro on Lynda.com.

  So, what are the exact steps series that follow you until the moment of the accident?  Also, could you send a copy of this report to crash OS X to [email protected] ?  You can find this file by launching /Applications/Utilities/Console.app and open the 'diagnostic user reports' whirl down on the right column.  Drag the most recent crash of hearing report in an e-mail message.

  One thing to try as well.  Open Finder, click OK in the menu bar, hold down OPTION and click on the "Library" folder (this is a hidden default folder).  Then go to Preferences/Adobe/Audition/5.0/ and find an old one called "shortcuts" and rename the "Shortcuts.old" then start hearing and try again to create a shortcut.  Is there a change in behavior?

  I'm doing a GREP style to one of my paragraph styles, which will take the text from the beginning of a line to a colon and define a character style to it for "BOLD" in this part.

  I don't think I got the syntax right.  I put ^ \:~h and ^: ~ h in the box ' text', thinking it meant "beginning of line until character ':' and at the end", but none of those who gave me the results I want.  Thanks in advance for the help!

  Your trial:

  ^\:~h

  1. you need to escape from the colon. It is one of the few characters who don't not need to escape and make them literal. (It doesn't hurt, you mind, but cleanliness etc..)

  2. you don't need a ~ h - you only need that if you want to scan up to a manually "nested in the Style end here" code.

  3. you need to allow a couple of characters between the beginning of the line and the colon. You can use the wildcard character 'not at all' (and use the shortest match, because otherwise it will engulf all until the last colon):

  ^.+?:

  or be literal and don't allow 'Not' and a single digit:

  ^ \D step:

  Either one will work for you.

• Filter with interactive map problem

  I created an interactive map with filters for points on the map using the visible if/else statements.

  The problem is that some of the points belong to more than one filter (health, education related, etc.). So the filters act correctly when selected and deselected one at a time, but do not see the map appropriate points if more than one filter is selected.

  Create a new movieclip.  copy the image at the top of the key and paste this image into image 1 of your movieclip.  which frame label "unchecked."  Create a blank Keyframe (for example, in box 5), label it "verified" and paste the...

  in fact, how could create a frame of ticked off the box?  that would not work with a single button.

  What you need to do is to give them a unique class name. Then, you must have the code for each of them.

  My MapViewer Version: Ver11_1_1_7_B130111

  I created a Google Map (with the Source as "Google Maps" map Type) in the map viewer Oracle and I could see google map in Oracle Map Viewer (using 'show Map').

  I wanted to show a theme of map of the village on the google map above in a web page and I use Jdeveloper to integrate with data from the Village map viewer. I could see that the google maps within Jdeveloper however when I run the code Jdeveloper google map does not appear within the web page.

  I tried with Oracle Maps, Bing Maps as 'source' in the map viewer and tried to integrate within Jdeveloper and achieved the same result (white screen). However, when I tried an another mapviewer (Base map ELOCATION. OracleFMW MapViewer House WORLD_MAP) I could see the map on the web page.

  I could get all the other basic maps (created with "internal" as the source of the map") on the web page, so there is something that I'm missing with Google Maps, Bing Maps, Oracle cards. Could you please help me what I'm missing or point to a resource to help?

  You need a newer version of JDev (like 11.1.2.x.x or later).

  Geomap DVT (if that's what you use) includes a local copy of oraclemaps.js.

  This must be a newer version.
