Any OOB Web Service or HTTP adapter in IOM for Recon?

Are there any OOB, Web Service or HTTP adapter in the use of the IMO which user account data can be compared to a SOA service?

Web service STANDARD is available for commissioning only. This is also mentioned in the Administrator's guide. Not sure if oracle has any future plans to offer it in recon too.

  • access the web service WSDL (https) - ORA-29273: HTTP request failed

    I use 11g (11.2.0.1.0)

    I've already implemented a function that access a WSDL service, sending a XML request with answer. It is an HTTPS service and I had successfully setup the configuration of the ACL.
    Wallets and certificates were also imported according to the needs.
    However, it has stopped working and I get the following errors, which I can't find out why?

    ORA-29273: HTTP request failed
    ORA-06512: at "SYS." UTL_HTTP", line 1130
    ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist

    The same service works perfectly for an another database 11g...

    Any ideas?

    ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist

    This error means generally that the socket connect command failed, because the host name has not be resolved to an IP or IP connection failed.

    What is the URL that you use? It contains a host name? If so, how PL/SQL solves that one IP (use utl_inaddr.get_host_address () to determine that)?

    What is a valid IP address for the host? Connectivity to this IP address works of your Oracle (test using telnet on port https to IP) Server?

    Looks like on this server host name resolution is not working / configured correctly (saw that the code works on other servers).

  • Via HTTPS Web service call

    Hi all

    I use Weblogic 9.2 with the default configuration of the keystore & SSL. The Web service client is generated using the 'Clientgen' Ant task, I can invoke Web service using http without problems, but when you use https, it is always rejected, basically I know not what system for the customer properties, here is my last desperate attempt:
    System.setProperty("weblogic.webservice.verbose", "true");
    System.setProperty("java.protocol.handler.pkgs", "weblogic.net");
    System.setProperty("weblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore", "config/DemoIdentity.jks");
    System.setProperty("weblogic.security.SSL.ignoreHostnameVerification", "true");
    System.setProperty("weblogic.security.SSL.TrustKeyStore", "DemoTrust");
    System.setProperty("weblogic.webservice.client.ssl.strictcertchecking", "false");
    System.setProperty("ssl.debug", "true");

    Stub.class.cast(port)._setProperty(Stub.USERNAME_PROPERTY, "weblogic");

    ISODocument isoDoc = new ISODocument();
    isoDoc.setMti(new Integer(200));
    port.balanceInquery(isoDoc);
    And here is the exception that is thrown in the client:

    Hello

    To call your web service via the SSL protocol, the simplest is to use only the following code snippet:
    You used the threshold:
    System.setProperty ("weblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore", "* config/DemoIdentity.jks" *);

    instead of DemoIdentity.jks, you provide the full path and the file name of the DemoTrust.jks file as below:

    System.setProperty ("weblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore", "* D:/wls103/wlserver_10.3/server/lib/DemoTrust.jks*");

    Hope this will solve the problem.

    Thank you

  • Adapter of Jena and SPARQL web service end point

    If I understand correctly, with the Jena java map interface, the client can connect to Oracle RDF data directly. Why is it always the web service SPARQL endpoint point? Demand for adapter request Jena on the client side has to go through SPARQL Web service first and then road to Oracle Server? Or query with SPARQL should go through webservice and not SPARQL query directly go to the Oracle Server?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    You are right that a client can connect to Oracle RDF directly through the adapter of Jena. The reason to provide a SPARQL web service end point is to give the flexibility and additional interoperability. With the SPARQL web service endpoints, you didn't even need to write code to interact with the underlying database Java. It also facilitates the SPARQL Federation much.

    It will be useful,

  • Access Web Service via POST - missing parameter

    I'm trying to access web services using the Http Post method, but I'm System.InvalidOperationExeption: missing parameter: ID

    Nitin

    Now, I found the solution.

    The problem was the URLEncodedPostData. If I use just string.getbyte (), it works.

  • Microsoft Active Directory Web Services - 2008 R2 edition

    Hello

    I'm updating the information for the employee on Active Directory (which is on the 2008 R2 version). My research on ADWS, I realized that there are some available in the version 2008 R2 of ADWS web services that are accessible to the public. But I have not any clear documentation confirm us. We try to access any account management Web service via http or soap

    NET. TCP: / /: 9389, ActiveDirectoryWebServices, Windows, AccountManagement

    via a browser after you connect to the host via the VPN network. But it does not work. What I feel is that this service must be hosted on a Web like IIS server for it to be accessible to the public via the Internet.  Like this instead of net.tcp

    http://: 9389, ActiveDirectoryWebServices, Windows, AccountManagement

    But the client side, host of this service indicates that it is hosted on IIS. Could someone please guide me if something is missing here?

    Thanks a bunch!

  • Problem with creating Web Service Client using Oracle JDeveloper

    Hi all

    I am trying to create a Web Service Client using Oracle JDeveloper. The property of the compiler of the project I updated JRE 1.4

    When I run the web service client, he gives me a lot of errors saying:
    ' Error (32.2): annotations are not supported in - source 1.4'

    I wonder why JDeveloper uses annotations even after that I set the compiler property to 1.4

    I'm following this link to create the Web service client:
    http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/forms/WebServices-forms-11g-094111.html

    Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you
    Scott.

    Scott, when you run the proxy Web service in JDeveloper, you will see a bunch of jars listed in the classpath in the Journal JDeveloper window.
    All of these classes must be in the classpath of your server when the class is deployed there.
    Note that by default, I don't think they are going to be included in the JAR that you build for the proxy when you deploy.

  • Flex to the problem of web service communication

    Hi, just like the title of State, I have problem during the web service-> Flex communication. I use class WebService ActionScript, to establish a connection with her, but I had a strange behavior. When I try to access the remote web services (particularly: http://109.74.206.146:8080/jax_ws/quarkservice? wsdl ) of my Flex Builder IDE, all is well. Even more, when I spend my folder and click ProjectName.swf project folder, without any server runs on my pc, the file is executed, communication with the web service is impeccable performed and response is retrieved. However, when I try to export a release build and to my Tomcat localhost, or if I try to copy ProjectName.swf to any other location on my drive, since the location of the project, where is stored, I got:

    Thus the same file committed since the FlexBuilder or invoked directly from the folder of the project, where it resides, works perfectly. When I try to call from a DIFFERENT location, including deployment on my local Tomcat (or even just my office), I got the above exception. So, anyone know what is the problem? Thank you

    There is an implicit approval when you run the application in Flex Builder. Outside of Flex Builder, if the call to the Web service is not mandated by LiveCycle Data Services, Flash Player security will not allow the connection the remote service.

    Try to add a crossdomain.xml to the ROOT.war of your respective application server. Something like that...

  • PHP generated Web Service

    Hello guys!

    IM new to flex and the web service and I would like to learn more about Adobe Flex auto generated PHP web service.

    I would like to ask if this kind of web service that has been generated automatically in adobe flex in PHP (wsdl? soap? xml - rpc?) I would like to review the PHP web service generated to adapt to our needs (passing certain parameters and returns a data table) what are the things that I should study for me to do this? I know how to code a bit in PHP and MySQL.

    I hope you can help me with my problem. Thank you guys!

    Hello

    Flex can generate code stub Flex of WSDL definitions. So you get a nice and simple access to a SOAP client layer.

    On the other side, FlexBuilder can generate a small PHP class to access a MySQL database. This generated class uses simple HTTP and no SOAP/XML-RPC at all

  • URL of the Web Service, LV2013 vs LV2012 length limits

    (* CROSS POST: http://lavag.org/topic/18435-web-service-url-length-limits-lv2013-vs-lv2012/ *)

    (* Please answer in this forum.  I scored the other thread for responses here. *)

    A that someone noticed a reduction in the limit on the length of the URL for the Web Services between the versions of LV 2012 and 2013?

    Under LV2012, a RESTful web service seems to accept URLS with lengths at least as long as 4096 characters.  With LV2013, the maximum length of URL seems to be 511 characters for RESTful web services as the project item. Unfortunately for me the project, I have converted just travel on this issue. My goal with posting this request here is my understanding of this limitation before deciding the best way to modify my code.  Certainly using POST instead of GET with a long URL is an option, but again, I am looking to understand the change in limitation before choosing a solution.

    To illustrate, I enclose three projects for the most part identical, demonstrating the issue.  In each case, the project contains a webservice consisting of a single VI, 'ComputeLength', which takes a string as an input parameter and that returns the length of the string.  The three projects are the following.

    1 LV2012 RESTful WebService.

    2 LV2013 RESTful WebService.

    3 LV2013 article project web service.

    The web service contains a single VI.  For the relaxing examples, the web service is started by selecting deploy menu of right-click Build specification.  For the example of project item, the web service is started by selecting start in right click menu position of work/WebService. The use of this example is shown with the following URL:

    (Note that the port is 8080 for both relaxing examples and 8001 for the project web service point if used in debug mode, which is the default value for the statement above.)

    http://localhost: 8080/webservice/computelength? string = 1234567890

    And the output looks like this.

    Workaround.  Apparently from 2013 of LV, there is a default limit of 512 to the length of the URL.  The default limit can be overridden as described below.

    Martin

    He is Brian in the technique of applications for National Instruments. I am following up about the 511 character limit in your Web Service HTTP request after the port number. After some research, I realized that the problem is related to a web site by default, the setting of the server called "LimitUri", which limits the maximum length of a URL. The default is 512 characters long that's why we are seeing this problem.

    There are several ways to modify the URL length limit depending on how you use your web service. If you publish the web service using the Application Web Server can change "C:\Program Files (x 86) \National WebServer\NIWebAppServer.conf" and add "LimitUri 4096" at the end of the file without the quotes.

    If you run the Debug Web server simply by clicking start on the web service, and then change "C:\Program Files (x 86) \National 2013\resource\webserver\niwsdebugserver.conf" and add "LimitUri 4096" at the end of the file without the quotes.

  • HP ENVY 5660: My printer cannot connect to Web services

    Hello

    When I tried to implement Web Services, I got an error.

    The error is "server problem. The printer could not connect to Web Services. The server may be busy or temporary unavilable. Try again later. »

    I am connected to internet (WiFi) and the Internet connection is not a problem.  I had this problem for 2 days. I would be grateful any advice.

    Thank you.

    I've done your instruction, but I always had the same problem. However, after I print web access test report has changed the date on my printer, and auto power off is activated, my printer could somehow related to web services. Thank you very much for all your advice!

  • Web service for private cloud OPA connectors

    Hello

    1. is there a pre-configured for Oracle HCM web services connector? The documentation (which is a web service connection?) specifies that "predefined web service connectors are available for some Oracle applications."

    2 are PL/SQ skills necessary to query and update the data source (Oracle), or the structure of connectors contains of classes/methods/etc, that to do this at a higher level (i.e. just by specifying the details of db connection & fields)?

    I am aware of the example of project (that I'll study in parallel), but just ask quickly here as well.

    Thanks in advance,

    Razvan

    I'm not aware of a web services connector pre-built from Oracle for HCM, but it is possible that there is something developed by a partner of Oracle.

    The structure of connectors is really an architecture and a set of definitions of the web services any connector must support. It is possible to build a connector that uses the JDBC API, PL/SQL, other Java API, or call other web services. The main requirement is that it should provide a mapping to something that resembles the structure of the Table/column/line/field expect web services of the OPA.

  • "Unauthorized" error when you use native Web services

    Hi community

    I'm using Oracle 11 g 2 (11.2.0.3.0) and to try my first SOAP using XDB request

    I followed the instructions at [using Oracle Native XML Web Services DB | ] [ http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E11882_01/AppDev.112/e23094/xdb_web_services.htm#ADXDB5677 ] and have traveled the many threads on this topic and am stuck again.

    The steps that I followed:

    Logged in as SYS:

    -Configuring HTTP access

    EXEC dbms_xdb.setHttpPort (7776); -I was initially using 8080, according to samples, but I changed to a port that I knew that nothing else has used

    EXEC dbms_xdb.setFtpPort (2100);  -Don't know its purpose, but anyway

    SELECT dbms_xdb.gethttpport () FROM dual;

    -Result = 7776

    -Check installed XDB

    SELECT * FROM dba_registry WHERE id_comp = "XDB".

    -Result = identifiant_composant = XDB; Version = 11.2.0.3.0; Status = VALID; Schema = XDB; Procedure = DBMS_REGXDB. VALIDATEXDB

    -Configure the Servlet ORAWSV-

    -Native web services are implemented using the servlet to "orawsv", which must be configured in the xdbconfig.xml file stored in DB XML itself.

    -This can be done using the DBMS_XDB on the package, as shown below.

    --

    DECLARE

    l_servlet_name VARCHAR2 (32): = "orawsv";

    BEGIN

    DBMS_XDB.deleteServletMapping (l_servlet_name);

    DBMS_XDB.deleteServlet (l_servlet_name);

    DBMS_XDB.addServlet (name = > l_servlet_name, language = > 'C', dispname = > descript 'Oracle query Web Service,' = > "Servlet to make queries as a Web Service", schema = > "XDB");

    DBMS_XDB.addServletSecRole (servname = > l_servlet_name, rolename = > 'XDB_WEBSERVICES', rolelink = > 'XDB_WEBSERVICES');

    DBMS_XDB.addServletSecRole (servname = > l_servlet_name, rolename = > 'XDB_WEBSERVICES_WITH_PUBLIC', rolelink = > 'XDB_WEBSERVICES_WITH_PUBLIC');

    DBMS_XDB.addServletSecRole (servname = > l_servlet_name, rolename = > 'XDB_WEBSERVICES_OVER_HTTP', rolelink = > 'XDB_WEBSERVICES_OVER_HTTP');

    DBMS_XDB.addServletMapping (template = > ' / orawsv / *', name = > l_servlet_name);

    END; /

    -I added ServletSecRoles for... _WITH_PUBLIC, and... _OVER_HTTP after initial sample didn't me give a result
