Any significance to the folder names?

I have just flashed the new fuse to the latest version of the firmware of my wife.  I changed the mode of meteorological service of the Canada.  Now I'm ready remove all music that came pre-installed on the "rocket" because they are all in MTP mode.  When I delete existing files, it is important to keep the same folders and folder names?

As if I want to install pictures and video files, they into specifically named folders to read correctly?  If so, what records are crutial for keep?

The "rocket" will find your content just about anywhere, if folder names are not that critical.  However, content placed in the files of audio books and Podcasts is treated specially.  But no worries, the "rocket" automatically creates the standard for you files if they are missing.

Hi, when you try to copy a folder with lots of subfolders, some files don't copy.  I get a message that the folder names are too long, and the only option is to ignore these files.  Anyone know the maximum folder (and also) name length that will copy windows 7?

    Hello

    a. What are the data you're trying to move?
    b. what operating system (for example Windows files) files?
    c. What is the method that you use to copy data?

Windows 7 supports filename up to 260 characters. I would ask you to decrease the characters in the file name and then try to copy the files.

Let us, run disk checking hard disk utility and then check.
    Here's how:
    1. open the computer by clicking the Start button, click computer.
    2. click on the drive you want to check, and then click Properties.
    3. click on the Tools tab and then, under check for errors, click Find now. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
To automatically repair problems with files and folders that the scan detects, select automatically fix file system errors. Otherwise, the disk check will be a problem, but not to fix them.
To perform a thorough check, select search and attempt to recover bad sectors. This analysis tries to find and repair physical errors on the disk itself, and it may take much longer to complete.
To check for errors file and the physical errors, select both automatically fix errors in file system and search for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.
    4. click on start.

Depending on the size of your drive, it may take several minutes. For best results, do not use your computer for any other tasks while it checks errors.

Important: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.

    I hope this helps.

  • Prefixing 'My' in front of the folder names, Explorer causing bad paths

I have an external hard drive with three folders and seen in the Windows Explorer, they are named 'Documents', 'My Music' and 'pictures '. After that WMP began failing to find the music on my drive, I removed and added the folder to my library and noticed the road now omitted the 'ma' - 'H:\Music '. Of course, a list of dir in a command window shows not 'My' in front of one of these folders.

What is the problem? These are not associated with my current user account, but is there some other baggage that makes the names are not displayed correctly? Any suggestion why the Documents folder is not affected in the same way? It has already forced me to recharge my library of music once - should I just change names from folder to something like "Musik" so that Windows don't screw with it?

    Hi pdizzle,

I suggest you rename the files to my music etc. on the disc.

If the problem persists then I suggest you scan the computer for malware infections or viruses and remove all infections, check if it helps.

  • The list of virtual machines, data warehouses and the folder name by cluster

Hello!!  I hope someone can help me with a PowerCLI script that can pull the info from the object into a file, txt or csv.  In order to get our environment cleaned before our next year Dr. with MRS, I want a list showing each VM and the data store (s) in that it is the name of the folder in the virtual computers view and models.  We keep our VMs organized by creating folder names that correspond to the application running on the virtual machine.  I mention a SRM than last year because our protected groups matched groups of our table of 3PAR Rcopy.  However, we have added over 200 new virtual machines from this era and the members of my team essentially placed these new virtual machines on the first available data store that had enough free space.  Unfortunately, we are not using storage profiles... it's scheduled for next year.

Information extracted would look like the following:

    ServerName Datastore folder name

    Server1 LUN0 ActiveDirectory

    Server2 LUN0 ActiveDirectory

    Serveur3 LUN1 ActiveDirectory

    Server4 LUN3 Argo

    Server5 LUN7 Argo

    LUN6 Lockbox Server6

    LUN5 Lockbox Server7

    Serveur8 LUN9 Citrix

    etc...

Any help with the extraction of this info from vCenter would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Charles

You can redirect the results to a CSV file, for example

    Get-VM |Select Name,@{N="Datastore";E={[string]::Join(',',(Get-Datastore -Id $_.DatastoreIdList | Select -ExpandProperty Name))}},@{N="Folder";E={$_.Folder.Name}} |Export-Csv C:\report.csv -NoTypeInformation -UseCulture

  • The Acrobat 9 batch - get PDF files of the folder names?

    Hello

Can someone give me an example with the use of batch (when the value of a specific folder/files) for a list of the names of files in this folder? I was not able to find examples online. It does not seem be any batch built in sequences that automatically do so I guess it will have to be done with javascript?

In the end, I need to automate a process (I was hoping to create a batch sequence to do this) which will allow me to invite a user to choose a record source to PDF files and then based on this selection, run a Javascript that I create, which will merge all of the PDF files in this folder into a new PDF apply some culture settings to each page, and then ask the user where to save the merged PDF file?

Has anyone ever done something like this? I'd love to see an example of how this could be able to achieve.

    Thanks in advance.

Have you tried to create a batch process to test (now called 'Actions')?  Actions in Acrobat 10 has the 'Merge all the files in the folder' option, and batching in previous versions has always included a commad culture page, but also an option to ask the user where to save the file.

  • Cannot change the folder name of the user, i.e. the C:\Users\user name (folder name)

I got a new computer w/Windows 7, but Set - up guy was working on 2 computers and put the wrong name in this machine slot 'username '.  All seeking answers to correct (my machine automatically books with my ADMIN correct name but doesn't let me change an incorrect name in the USER file), I came across this on VISTA.  It also applies to Windows 7?

"What you see is the reference in the"C:\Users\user name"folder. While you can change the registered owner and the name of the user account, you cannot change the name of the folder 'C:\Users\user name'. The only way to do this is to create a new admin account and delete the one in a new. »

If the solution IS identical to that of Vista, the instructions on the following link apply?
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/93026-user-account-delete.html

Yes, the solution is identical to that of Vista, and apply the instructions at this link.

Create a new account with the correct name and delete the old account.  If you wish, save the old account during erasing files and copy them into the new account.

    Hi Peter,.

Unfortunately, you cannot change the color of the font of the text in the file. You can use your favorite search engine to find the third-party software that supports this feature.

  • How you can display the details-the folder name, the date, labels, size, type when displaying folders as large icons?

    Windows 7
How you can view the records/document details-name, date, tags, size, good guy that watching a records/documents too large, medium or small icons?
I have to be able to sort the records/documents while in the large, medium or small icon view I have in Vista. I can't settle unless I'm in the Details view. I work with graphics mostly, so I need to see while I sort.

Even if the headers are not visible, you can sort/filter/group by those details by right-clicking on an empty spot in the folder and choose the fate/group that made a right click menu.

  • Add the folder names in the path of the image as keywords separated from image metadata

Hi all, I tried to find a solution online and customize the amazing Paul Riggott script, but I'm not able to make it work the way I need.

I have my customer images organized in the structure of folders and subfolders. For all images (thousands of files in the subfolders a lot) I need a script for Adobe Bridge to take all the way from the image, separated from individual files paths file and store these records in the form of keywords separated in the metadata of the image.

For example, I have the image.jpg/Work/Job01/share/Photos and image B.jpg file in the folder/Work/Job02/PartB/Photos. After I run the script from Adobe Bridge on file/work, I want to have for the two added images keywords

    Size: Work; Job01; Share; Photos

    Notice: Work; Job02; PartB; Photos

As 'Work' and 'Pictures' folders are usually present, it would be nice to have the opportunity to put these two exact strings in script and exclude keywords added, but it is not necessary :-)

The bellows of script adds one keyword ~photos/Work/Job01/share/Photos, for what is necessary is to divide and make key words separated substrings. This would allow me to move pictures anywhere and still be able to filter as a group structure (as number of employment, or part name).

Please, could someone show me how to update this script? Or is there another solution that I just haven't found yet?

    Thank you, Petr

  • Run as administrator does not not for files bat inside the folder names with special characters such as)

    Dear all,
I am unable to run any file beats with "Run As Administrator" when the bat file is present in a folder that has (in his name.
    For example: I main.bat in d:\test (_8july) \main.bat.
The content of main.bat is like that.

    c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe /C "e:\test.bat."

The content of test.bat is like this:

    echo 'test' > %temp%/test.txt
    pause

If I double-click main.bat, I can see the file text.txt being created and 'test' written in it.
If I click with the right button on main.bat and select 'Run as administrator', cannot run the file beats and I get the error "d:\test" is not a recognized command.
    How to handle these situations?

If I run as c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe /C 'd:\test (_8july) \main.bat' to 'Run' in Start menu cannot run little. It gives the same error "d:\test" is not a recognized command.
    If I run as c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe /C "" d:\test (_8july) \main.bat"" it can work and works very well.
So, the question is when we choose 'Run as Administrator', it takes the file bat as insead "d:\test (_8july) \main.bat" of ""d:\test (_8july) \main.bat" is there a work around for UAC, we can pass the correct string
