To be honest I n don't know what you mean.
What software are you trying to download and where to download them? What OS do you have?
Can you post a screenshot screen or something else?

I put t know what internet browser do you use, but I still use Firefox and never had any problems with this browser.

    Hello

I have a Satellite Pro A200 PSAE1E that came with Vista on it, I reinstalled Win XP Pro installed with relevant drivers download Toshiba page but cannot get working shortcut keys.

I installed the controls and the driver, but that doesn't seem to work. Saw an ad on "common module" somewhere, but can't seem to find any links to download on the download page.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you very much

    Iain

The control utility and driver controls allow you to customize and TOSHIBA special button preset settings. But it is not a FN keys!

You must install the Hotkey utility if you want to use the FN keys.

    Another tip:
It is important that all Toshiba drivers and utilities are installed in the correct order.
On the Toshiba driver page, you will find a txt file called installation instructions.
Please install all drivers and tools in the order mentioned in this instruction!

Sorry Michael, but it has nothing to do because the graphics card can not be upgraded. Unfortunately the L10's small budget machine, and because of this, there is no better card inside.

  • Satellite Pro U400 - How can I get the native screen resolution for external monitor?

I have a samsung syncmaster external screen connected to a Satellite Pro U400.

The resolution of the screen goes up to 1280 etc. but the minimum samsung is 1440 x 920 (ish I forgot).
How can I get the samsung to display full screen expanded to save my eyes of the realativively small screen internal?

    Hello!

Have you tried to update the display on your laptop driver? Check the Toshiba site for an update:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

In addition, it would be interesting to know if you are running the factory settings or you have installed your own version of Windows?
And what operating system are you using? Have you installed all Windows updates?

For external LCD, monitors, you must set the screen refresh rate of 60 Hz.
And if you want to change the resolution of the screen, you must select the second monitor in the graphics options on Windows.

  • Satellite Pro A300D - where can I get driver ceiling microphone?

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro A300D. I upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista, but lost my Toshiba built in software while doing so. I can access my webcam via applications such as Skype, but my microphone no longer works.

Where can I find the driver for the webcam/microphone software that I had before the upgrade?

    Hi PyroTails,

The built-in mic is part of the webcam, which means that you need to download the driver for the webcam that you can get here:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

After installation, it should be possible to use the internal mic. :)

  • Satellite Pro 4600: How can I get my wireless to turn on?

    EIS,

Sorry to ask the most basic questions, but I just inherited a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600, on the back side of the laptop, I have the following information:
    CEL 750 / 128 / 20 GB / 14T

On the left side of the Panel, there is a wireless - switch this switch, how can I get the built in wireless to work please?

    Thank you.

    Hi mate,

Firstly: are you sure that you have a wireless card installed? This is the first question and perhaps the most important of them. Not every Satellite 4600 has been bundled with a wireless card and a switch wireless on the left side says nothing.

I know it s hard without technical knowledge, but what you can do is download the drivers from the Toshiba Drivers and Downloads 'Archive' wireless, turn on the wireless switch and check if some materials are recognized. If Yes, then welcome to the wireless world. :)

Would like to hear some comments from your part Thx.

Tried to upgrade RAM from 1 GB to 4 GB.

However, I can't the A100-PSAAPE post with 4 GB on board.

It works well with a single module (in each slot) and pointed out 2 GB of RAM.

TOSHIBA knowledge base makes the following reference:

    * Requirements for the use of 4 GB of main memory *.
+ The BIOS must support the memory remapping feature. +
+ The memory remapping feature allows for the segment of system memory which was already crushed by +.
+ PCI configuration space to be remapped above the 4 GB address line. +
+ The newer BIOS versions support this feature. +

As far as I know, the Satellite Pro A100 was equipped with Intel 943GML Express chipset.
This chipset supports the same specifications as the chipset Intel 940 GML and chipset theis max 2 GB of RAM.

  • Satellite Pro P100: Where can I find the software pre-installed?

Hi all, today I got my satellite pro p100-327. From what I read in the manual of the recovery cd provided is just a copy of windows? If I want to reinstall windows where all programs preinstalled on your laptop can be reinstalled from? Is it possible to make a bootdisk as such?
    Thanks for all the help.

I'll try to bring light on this case
The Toshiba Recovery CD contains an OEM version of the Windows XP operating system and all Toshiba drivers, tools and utilities are part of this CD.
Simply said, after using the Toshiba Recovery CD, you get the laptop with the factory settings.

If you only need drivers Toshiba or tools, you can create a CD of tools & utilities own.
This option is found in the Toshiba support--> Protect Fix & -> Create sub drivers & Tools CD

All the drivers are also placed on the page of the Toshiba driver

  • Satellite Pro U400-142 - can't get Draft N to work

    Hi guys

I just bought this pathetic machine; I wish that I n t now...
Really, I went instead of speed wireless 300Mbps...
In any case I have a belkin N1 wireless router and this laptop I tried everything to get the project speed N, but it still remains on 54 Mbps...

According to the small computer in the taskbar... I've configured the belkin router... and have changed virtually every setting in the "network connections" for the wifi N card installed on this laptop.

I can't let him go all 54 Mbps more quickly then... There was a moment, when I saw the speed to jump up to 270Mbps for about 3 seconds, then returned to 54 Mbps...

Someone at - it similar problems and how they sorted it?...

    Cheers.

    Hello!

Have you tried to update the driver for your laptop WiFi? Just check for an update from Toshiba Web site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

As I already wrote in another thread, you should look for an update of the firmware on your router. This could also solve the problem.

I have a Satellite U400 (it s similar to yours) and I can use the speed N project without problems. :)

    Good bye

  • Satellite Pro P300 - 23L: can't get screen Toshiba Leading Innovation

This is a cut and paste from a previous post, but the one I'm having a problem with today (save me typing again!):

When I start my laptop, it stops on the first screen of the Toshiba innovation and only gives the opportunity to do two things. That's what he said to prevent the page * "Press F2 to enter Setup, F12 to access the selection of Multiboot Menu" * I tried both. I pressed F2, I press F12 and no one bothers me pst screen

-When I press on either after the Toshiba screen is visible, they do nothing
-If I press "F2" at the start, upward, the instructions at the bottom of the page says "Please Wait". However, I waited for hours and nothing ever happened. The "Please wait" message just sitting there.
-If I press F12 during startup, upwards, the instructions at the bottom of the page says "press F2 SETUP, Entering boot device selection menu... "Then he is there and does anything just
The screen Toshiba Leading Innovation remains all the time.

I have tried removeing the battery and draining flea power - this does not solve the problem.

When I restart the laptop, I get the situation according to the line 1 above. No amount of tap F8 does nothing... I'm still back to the page of the main Innovation of Toshiba.

The fan works, but the HARD disk led never sparkles.

    Any suggestions please? Thank you

    Hello

If the laptop is unable to pass the home screen Toshiba (POST-puissance on self test) then this behavior of the laptop is mainly related to a serious hardware problem.

The defective HARD drive would not cause such a problem, because even if the HARD drive is faulty, the laptop must be able to pass such screen...

So I guess there is something wrong with the RAM or the motherboard.
Here you can check how to remove the RAM modules and insert the new memory:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/CRU9902O80001R01.htm

If the problem is not related to defective RAM, then other parts like the motherboard (maybe module BIOS EPROM) must be verified... but such verification requires additional special tools and that's why I think it would be a job for a laptop technicians...

    Hello

No you can not use more than 2 GB of RAM. You can upgrade the laptop up to 2GB (2 x 1 GB).

    > What happens if I add e.g. 2 x 2 GB?
