  The conversion to WORD (if you converted before you opened in WORD, because WORD does not open PDF files to my knowledge) is a luck of the draw. Two options are generally available, to keep the page layout and to maintain the flow of the text. The provision creates a bunch of text boxes in WORD with your information. The stream format does not text boxes. If the PDF file has been create from WORD with all tags (using PDF Maker), then the conversion can be almost flawless. If it was printed to PDF format or the markup turned off, then you are function Acrobat (or export) try to interpret what is necessary and the results is often not great. An article that almost never comes out right are equations.

  If you scanned the document, then you have an OCR option, but don't expect great things. You must always keep the originals of your documents. Reverse engineering function, a PDF to WORD is a dangerous practice.

  Got a new computer, Photoshop disabled on the former, then downloaded and activated without any problems on the new computer.  He checked automatically updates available, and when he finished treatment through them, he said that everything has failed.  He suggested the problem setting in the list, but there is no error code and no problems listed. I am at a loss...  Have tried both a download and it does not help.  Of course this doesn't seem to be a recurring problem with many versions of Photoshop, but I can't seem to find a viable solution to my problem.

  Content should always be deleted by adding tags, but it can appear so because - as you note - objects can hide behind other objects. In theory, you can bring out them of hiding to rearrange things in the part of the order, but I have much more luck using the content pane - it provides a level of much finer control. If the text is hidden behind a shaded box, for example, I'll move the box over the text in the content order, then usually convert the box to an artifact if it is already.

  Hi all

  I use RH7 on a Windows XP Professional platform.

  I am generating documentation and indentation in the table of contents generated in the document is not the same, not even close, as the project.

  I tried to use HTML heading levels maintain checkbox, but while titles fonts are better, indentation in the table of contents for the document is getting worse.

  When I disable this checkbox, it will give me a decent indentation in the table of contents, however the fonts used for headings in the document are sometimes more small then one used for normal text.

  Does anyone has an idea how I could fix it? I don't want to do too much formatting in the Word document either, because it takes a long time.

  As you can see, this is what I have in the TOC and the body is as described above.

  If you select HTML to maintain levels, you will always get the above with the titles of books but third topic will become a heading 1, as it should with this option checked.

  I maps to a Word template where the TOC styles are defined to be indented as above. Maybe you have to match to a Word template, or if you are, you just need to tweek styles in it.

  I see that you have lines in the ADF.  I would like to help!

  I recommend to remove the ink cartridges and perform a power reset.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

  First of all: this has nothing to do with InDesign, it has to do with your OS, so second: what operating system? Windows or Mac because to solve this problem, we need to know which. It's your operating system which has lost the connection with your program and document files.

  Thank you. It turns out that simply remove this additional path variable does the job. I used that in an earlier version of my code and I forgot that this is. My syntax also seems to be right.

• When you use quite imposing, more the file obtained only receives a Temp name that will be sent as a document name.

  Our company has recently updated form Acrobat 8 Professional for Acrobat Professional XI. We also use him very imposing more plug-ins in both versions. Now, when quite imposing and the resulting file is only given a name of Temp that will be sent under the name of the document to the printer unless the imposed document is the first recorded. This was not the case in Acrobat 8 Professional. I've attached screenshots which shows an example.

  Adobe and Acrobat do not control it. The name of the file and its location is quite a large function.

  I have the document with a series of master pages and paragraph styles. I wanted to move them in a blank document, as well as a few pages of the original document.

  In the new document I loaded master pages and paragraph styles, and everything seems to be okay. I moved a few pages in the document and paragraph styles do not seem to get the same thing. It seems greater than in the original document line spacing, but I can't find what the problem is

  It's really annoying, since the point of the whole of paragraph styles, it's that they ensure consistency!

  What can go wrong with it is that the paragraphs are aligned on the grid of reference set in the preferences.
  Two different documents can have two different settings for it. Check the baseline grid in preferences and adapt one to the other setting.

• The use of Javascript to reset a form during the loading of the document

  I am trying to reset all the field values in an acrobat form default values, when the form is loaded initially.  I am trying to use the resetForm() method in a document-level script, but not having a chance.

  I was able to reset the fields after the user input such as a button that resets the form or script will reset a form before you import the data in the field... but I have to make sure that all data is removed from the form when the form first loads all

  Any ideas?

  You don't need a script to the folder level. Simply embed the resetForm() command

  in the document. It will launch when the file is opened.
