For example he downloaded a free trial of Coverxp and he seemed to download ok and asked if he wanted a shortcut on the desktop. He said yes to the shortcut, and as I say, it seemed to have installed ok.

  The iicon office never appeared and the Coverxp in all programs also shows empty.
  This is the case for most of the things it has downloaded, such as the trial version of Winrar.
  In programs and features uninstall, applications are here. In my view, this could be a security problem.

  First I put t think it's a problem of Toshiba.
  I recommend saving the downloaded packages somewhere on the second partition.
  Then go to that partition and unzip the package.
  Then follow the installation instructions.

  By the way; shortcuts on the desktop can be created manually.
  Simply right-click on desktop and create a new shortcut and point to the exe of the installed software.

  I'm doing a transition screen animation but I can't find a way to do the same thing, doLayout method is. I work with OS 4.5 on Curve 8300 and the doLayout method does not exist in the API.

  I tried updateLayout, invalidateLayout doPaint and nothing works. I don't want the screen to be visible before the end of the transition, so I can't use the Display.screenshot () method.

• Remote debugging active but no access to the block diagram

  I have an executable running on a target that I want to debug. I enabled debugging in the build properties, I enabled debugging in vi properties. I can connect from the development computer to the exe.

  But the option to switch to the block diagram is simply not there (see photo). I know I am a first not who has this problem but I couldn't find an answer.

  Without being able to see the block diagram, a 'debug function' is totally useless!

  I use Windows 7 Professional and everything seems to work very well. I joined my new Transcend f25 USB (300g) to use for backups. I copied on about 20 concerts of archives and had run Windows it's first backup.

  Everything seemed fine, and the available space on the disc is now about 230g, that sounds right. The problem is I see only empty folders on disk!

  Now, I know with certainty that the files are there because I tried to plug the drive in an old laptop XP - bingo there was all my files! Can someone advise me? This seems to be a configuration problem, or maybe a drive error. The files were there when I added in the first place, however, is very strange!

  How can I see my files? Help!

  Check the disk for errors by using this procedure.
  1. open the computer by clicking the Start button, click computer.

  2 - Click on the drive you want to check, and then click Properties.

  3. click on the Tools tab and then, under check for errors, click Find now.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  To automatically repair problems with files and folders that the scan detects, select automatically fix file system errors. Otherwise, the disk check will be a problem, but not to fix them.

  To perform a thorough check, select search and attempt to recover bad sectors. This analysis tries to find and repair physical errors on the disk itself, and it may take much longer to complete.

  To check for errors file and the physical errors, select both automatically fix errors in file system and search for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.
