  If you have Microsoft Security Essentials, AVG, McAfee, Norton, etc. installed, they have a conflict with Windows Defender, or turn it off.

• Remove Windows Defender security system in my HPXT249EA

  I have the above computer which my ISP is Virgin Media cable.  The Action Center tells me that I'm under Virgin Media security Anti-Spyware and Windows Defender.  It is said to run two programs at the same time can slow down your computer.

  Unfortunately, I can't find the Windows Defender program to remove it.  I open the programs and features page of the Control Panel, and I'm not sure that I have Windows Defender.  Any help to find/identify what program gives me Windows Defender would be appreciated.  I'm not in my first youthful glow!

  Another way to disable Windows Defender is as follows.

  Open windows control panel, open administrative tools, and then open Services.  To the bottom of the list, you should see an entry for Windows Defender, cela a right click and select Properties.  In the properties windows use the drop-down list next to startup type select disabled, and then click apply and then Ok to save the setting.

  Restart the PC for this change to take effect.

• Does anyone know why Windows 7 Ultimate using all the available RAM. Have 8 GB of memory and resources system shows 99% used. When I close the memory use programs remains at 99%. How free memory is no longer used by the closed programs.

If fol files do not exist, Windows Mail will import e-mail messages too, but it will not sort them to the directories.

  These 2 files are normal for any installation of Windows.

  $recycle.bin contains data relating to the trash and the System Volume information contains the Restore Points to restore the system on each disk.

  Normally, these folders are hidden by default.

  In file Explorer, click the view tab in the Ribbon toolbar.

  In the Options Menu, select folder and search options.

  In the Folder Options window, select the view tab.

  Select the option do not show hidden files, folders, and drives.

  Click apply/OK.
