• Why can I no longer updated my Site created with the Muse?

  I had Adobe Creative cloud for a few years. I also have a Web site (http://www.amazineasheville.net) created with Muse and hosted by Adobe.

  Meanwhile, I could easily make updates and publish them on my site.

  Suddenly, three or four weeks, I no longer can get my updates of the website published on my site. Instead, I get the display options on a site that uses a businesscatalyst extension. I can't post to my actual website address.

  No matter what selections in the menu of Muse that I choose, I can't have my updates published on amazingasheville.net. Since June 19, I couldn't update my real site, just the version Business Catalyst of it, which is not visible to the public.

  What has changed? That's happened? What is going on?

  I don't have a site program that does not allow me to make changes easily!

  It had to do with the folder on the server. The Options menu after I clicked on publish showed a certain folder, and told me that I should just leave this entry blank. That seems to make the difference.

  Nancy, I think you were on the right track on the problem.

  There is also a new update (I remember correctly, it's dated July 20) dreaming that I saw for the first time today and applied, and which also seems to be involved in the solution. The person who called me Adobe said there have been some problems with the Muse that resolved the last update.

  I'm a writer, mostly books on the retirement and travel, not a Web site developer or graphic designer, 80 or 90% of Adobe Creative Cloud is so over my head and little value convenient for me, but to get a few components of CC I need, I have to buy a subscription to the whole.

I know that you used to be able to make this years on FB with tabs reveal, but now they want to sell ads and campaigns, I'm doing this on the side of the site of things.   Not sure exactly what you're asking, but if I understand the way I think you are trying to say, and then using the widget ToolTip Composition should work for you.

  Are you talking about placing Google map on the Mobile page created in Muse? If so you can do this by either using 'Google Map Widget', either by placing the "Embedded Code" created in any site map.

  If you use BC, then you can directly publish the site of BC and then make it direct to the admin site.

  After that add the domain and GoDaddy, use BC nameservers and point the domain to BC.

  Like creative cloud subscription offers you 5 free sites with Muse that you can use for your site to make it come alive, you don't have to pay anything.

  But if you plan to upgrade your site to a different plan of site, then you will need to do so separately from British Colombia.

  My company is looking to create a page that uses the functionality seen here for a section of our Web site:

  Finally, we want the user to select a region/location, select a category and have then to generate a PDF or PDF for the user to download. Now it comes to the database. But I think that there must be an easier way to have this type of functionality within the Muse or Adobe CC in general.

  Nope, can't do At least not if you insist on the use of this type of selection process, with form elements as these check lists:

  

  Forms of the Muse still miss on this type of data entry form...

  Rather than use a form to indicate the selection and let it work with a process database, you might consider creating a navigation system technically complex, but visually compact to let the user run through a sequence of pages, to finally find their way to the desired and downloadable content. But I bet there will be another problem growing, as it is tedious to link all the PDF files for each page at the end of the line, or the maintenance of this content.

  Maybe some third-party widget can achieve something like that, but there is no much, and they cannot be modified in many ways to fit your need. Most of them talk about e-commerce (shopping cart typical stuff), disappoint users through collections and not so restrictive browser search with the criteria selections. But feel free to take a look at this: Adobe Muse basket with Ecwid.

  The HTML contains no pretty logic beyond rendering web pages. Everything else should be added using extensive scripting or by using the dynamic backends. So no, you can't do this kind of thing with vanilla Muse or for that matter vanilla HTML.

• Lock the images to the edge of the browser?  Is this possible with the Muse

  Can someone tell me how to lock and image to the edge right and left of the browser window?  I have pictures that I want to appear as if they come out on the side of the browser on both sides.

  In Muse I placed these images at the edge of the browser window and the 'line' goes red, I thought meant lock to the size of the browser.  However, this is not what is happening.  It seems in Muse, but when I download on my server the images float in the middle of the screen.

  Is there a solution to make it work?

  Im not a web guru, but I figuered how to solve this isue on cc updated muse 2015

  Go to the properties of the page

  Uncheck the Center horizontally

  and the padding value 100 left

  I did and once I started to draw inside the box everything has started to align with the left right etc..

• How can I get the url query string data to a site created with the Muse? It is not module_url works in Muse.

There is documentation on the use of module_url, but documentation is vague and it's not really show in use in the Muse Awards Business Catalyst. Is there an easy way to retrieve the values of url string that does not script require extensive coding?

  Muse is strictly HTML and CSS and a little Javascript. To use URL parameters as you learn on would need a kind side Server advanced such as PHP which is out of the reach of Muse. Essentially of Muse is not the right tool, you use to achieve this.

  This works for you in Joomla because as Wordpress and they are written in PHP.

  I built a website for a client, using Adobe Muse, which is hosted by Business Catalyst. On the page of the site contact us I placed an Adobe Muse 'Single Contact' widget/shape with 3 three fields: name, Email and Message. The form worked as expected until the end of December 2014. Since then, the information in the 'Email' field are changed.

  
  

  The site has four different e-mail accounts through Business Catalyst. For the sake of discussion to call them:

  The Messages from the Simple of Muse's Contact form are sent to [email protected] .  When emails are displayed in Business Catalyst "Webmail" e-mail address that was entered in the field "E-mail" from Simple Contact Forms does not appear in the field "from". Instead, the "from" field shows that the e-mail was sent from may[email protected] regardless of what was concluded, by the sender in the Email of the Contact single form field. It don't make any difference this provider of e-mail address is entered in the field - AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, Roadrunner, etc - they are all changed to [email protected]

  
  

  Similarly, when the client tries to respond to the request of the customer the field 'To' is filled with Mail-4@website not the sender e-mail address is entered in the field "Email" in the form of Simple Contact of Muse.

  The e-mail field you see in BusinessCatalyst is not filled by the customer in the e-mail of the form field.

  As far as I understand it, it is the e-mail ID used to publish the site through Muse. So change 'to' email field in Muse won't change 'from' email in British Colombia.
