AP Div problem

Hello

Im sorry pretty new to the dreamweaver software as im use it to create an ebook of the school, so I will try the best to explain

I created my website background/buttons and boxes in photoshop and slice to the top then added in dreamweaver, I'm now AP Div on adding the boxes so I can change it in dreamweaver, however the ap divs models continue to go diagonally to the left and I can't understand why. I know that its probably a newbie problem but hey im only learning.

I'll post some screenshots of what I want to say and if you need more information please just asked (but explain where you need the photo/information of)

Any help is appreciated, and if you're asking about the screen name her because everything I tried for 5 minutes was taken

Look at this layout for a better idea and tell me what you don't understand.

  • Possible questions DIV: problem of overflow

    I'm building a site that is having some problems. When I open the site in a browser (I use Chrome) runs a part of the text at the bottom of the DIV. This is not how I meant it (there should be about 30px room under the text). I don't know if it's something I could fix with a scrolling code (my DIV is set of heights, so I don't know if there is a better way to do it with scrolling and padding), or if it's just the browser. (I checked in Safari too, same problem)

    Thank you very much

    SO CSS for HTML so little?  Ouch.  And your CSS is very redundant prolix as well. Count how many times you have assigned a font!  Besides, you know that Myriad is not secure for the Web, right?  For those who do not have this installed font will see Times/Times New Roman - not a good swap!  You should always include a family of fonts in your posting so that these fonts are not installed will be ignored in the list. In addition, Myriad Pro (and all multiple word font names) must be enclosed in quotes.

    {#collegesuccess_content}

    float: left;

    height: 560px;

    Width: 940px;

    padding-left: 10px;

    padding-right: 10px;

    padding-top: 10px;

    padding-bottom: 10px;

    background-color: #7DA563;

    do-family: "Myriad Pro";

    }

    It is impossible to elements containing text.  What happens if I decide to make the text to display in my largest browser?  Yep - overflow.  There is no need to assign a height at all here.  Let the height of the content determine the height.  It goes the same for #collegesuccess_body and #collegesuccess_container.

  • Table/div problem with IE

    I build a "Planner" in a table, and it seems OK in Firefox but not in IE. It's a work in progress, but IE does not allow table align correctly and help would be appreciated.

  • Unwanted link appears in paragraphs - AP div problem?

    Hello. I use cs4 on Macbook Pro (version 10.6.8) and develping the site below.

    http://www.gibbstowndentistry.com/

    If you use Firefox you won't see it, but if you are on Safari, you can see there is a link for a whole paragraph in the editable area (underlined).  Yet there is a link in Firefox, you do not see what it (no underscore)

    The link will the box called 'patient account access' which suppose to be from the blue button called "Patinet Login" on the right side.

    First 2 categories on Navi bar (home and offices) had this unwanted link, but the other 3 categories (Dental Service, dental care, contact us) seem OK.

    For example:

    http://www.gibbstowndentistry.com/childrens_dentistry.html

    Each category has a separate template, I therefore template1, 2 are not fair, but the other 3 are OK.

    I can't find why this is happening. If I have to I will make new pages, but I would like to know the reason. Maybe APdiv question?

    If someone can teach me why, I'll be really happy. Thank you.

    For the first issue with links to line 127 of your code, you have a 'a' tag that is not closed (missing).

    For the second question, you need to explain this a bit more.  And I also recommend reading on CSS ( http://www.w3schools.com/css/ ).  You use

    which is deprecated code when you should just be editing the CSS Spry and adding "text-align: center;" to "ul. MenuBarHorizontal a"CSS code (documentation - http://livedocs.adobe.com/en_US/Spry/SDG/help.html?content=WS895F3A6D-6D73-42ef-B568-3D04A BD2F171.html ).

  • Problems using backbone see to add to BBUI display Div in BB10

    I'm experimenting with using views of the spinal column to fill the contents of a BACKUP screen. So I have a screen empty BBUI that contains only the div and screen script tags to load the scripts with the code for views of the spinal column etc. The views of the spine are responsible for creating the bbui divs and adding them to the div. screen bbui I created a controller to handle the onscreenready event and pass the item to a view of the spine.

    In my first experience, I used a view that created an imagelist bbui a collection of the spine (and other views of backbone of sup) and added the imagelist created onscreenready to the bbui div screen Virgin
    It seems to work, but then I realized that the title of bbui created by the display of the spinal column covers the first element of the imagelist.
    So if I had a list of 5, only four components were visible. The five elements would be visible if I not add the title bar. This problem occurs only in BB10. BB6 and BB7 make as expected (tested with ripple and simulators).

    I noticed that the element passed by onscreenready contains the bbui screen, and since I am adding to this item passed to the display of the spine, I thought the error was adding to this and not the screen. Then I tried passing element.firstChild (which is the screen bbui as far as I can tell) instead, but no change.

    My experience was similar, but I used views of the spinal column to generate groups of control and containers for entry. A similar problem with the title bar, but I can not select the input field to enter text. Yet once again, this only happens about BB10.

    If I do not use backbone and enter items manually in the form as usual, it works as expected.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    I posted this question on github and it has been fixed, so no need to workaround more.

  • Problem of PlayBook and DIV

    Hello

    I am developing a basic application by using the web development kit and I'm running a problem with some divs.

    I have a div that displays a button, and when you click the button, the div is hidden. The button calls a javascript function that affects the hidden div visibility.

    The code works fine when I test it in IE, Firefox and Chrome, however, when I download the playbook Simulator, by clicking on the button has no effect, that that is the div become hidden.

    Anyone has any suggestions as to why this might be?

    Thank you!

    I have the same version of Simulator.

    At this stage, it is difficult to determine what went wrong, when you try to implement your example.

    For what it's worth, here's a zip of my implementation of your exact example. Maybe you can use it to understand what is the problem with yours?

  • Problems with left and right Divs

    Hello, I have returned, to see if everything is OK if I could receive assistance with the same subject that I posted previously that came to no conclusion. I try to have two div to the left and right of eachother, which automatically stop the footer. Here are my problems with the following code:

    1. for some reason, the left div is located in the upper left and right div located on the lower right corner

    2. the divs do not automatically stop at the foot of page and corresponds to the amount of pixels in "min-height".

    Demo page: http://www.expertpcguides.com/web-contributors.html

    Paste the following code in my .css document

    #left {}

    Clear: both;

    Background: url ('www.expertpcguides.com/mg/Left.jpeg');

    min-height: 610px;

    Width: 150px;

    float: left;

    }

    #right {}

    Clear: both;

    Background: url ('www.expertpcguides.com/img/Right.jpeg');

    min-height: 610px;

    Width: 150px;

    float: right;

    }

    Paste the following code in my html document

    "<div id="left">< /div > .

    "<div id="right"> < / div > .

    Infact to reach the boxes of such height you'll probably have to use display: table;

    This means wrap any 'left', 'boxcontent', 'good' section in another

    :

    Then, using css:

    {#displayTable}

    Display: table;

    }

    #left {}

    Background: url ("http://www.expertpcguides.com/img/Left.jpeg");

    Display: table-cell;

    Width: 12%;

    }

    #right {}

    Background: url ("http://www.expertpcguides.com/img/Right.jpeg");

    Display: table-cell;

    Width: 12%;

    }

    #boxcontent

    {

    Width: 76%;

    Display: table-cell;

    padding: 30px 25px;

    Thnx

    The main problem is that you used APDivs (position: absolute). By definition, they are positioned an accurate measure of the edge of the window of the browser at any time.

    You 'can' fix without having to rewrite your entire page (which would be my suggestion).

    Add this right after your

    And then add this just before your

    tag...

    Absolute positioning should almost never be used for the layout of the main site, you should take the time to learn how to use floats, margins and padding to position elements instead, but the above should get you going with your current code, just change the 950px to the actual width of the page you want and it must be centered.

  • Div display problem

    I'm having a problem with the index page to http://http :// www.pixelsandpaper.com/stANNES/St%20annes/index.html which is in a temporary location.  I put the container div to 960 px wide and took the left and right margins to 20%, however, when the page is displayed in Chrome there is a move marked to the left of the screen.  The other 2 pages of the site have the same parameters but appear very well.  In other browsers, the left display is not too obvious, but it's still there. I use Dreamweaver CS6

    Maybe someone can tell me what is the problem. I appreciate your comments.

    Pat

    View the source code on two different pages... Home and features for example.

    CSS properties to .container are repeated in several places. I would recommend that you consolidate all of these different .container in one place rules.

    In any case, on the features page, you have the set to 25px; margin-top

    . Container {}

    Width: 960px;

    margin-right: auto;

    left margin: auto;

    top of the margin: 25px;

    }

    If you have all the rules for .container in one place, it's much easier to troubleshoot.

    Best wishes

    I'm trying to figure out how to remove the div that the pagecontent tag adds to my Web site. As you can see here the grey box dark under the product is added by a clearly labeled div of footer. • AP Div overlay problem

    I'm creating a Web page using divs PA.  I created the first div and put a picture in it. No problem.  Now I want to add another div, put a picture in it and put it on top of another div.  Whenever I try to drag the second div on top of the first, dreamweaver moves it to the closest edge so that they do not overlap.  This problem does not occur if I manually change the code; the div moves on top of the other div when I change it in the code, but I can't make it work simply by dragging it.  I tried to change the z-index, no luck.  I went back to the old Web pages where I did and it worked very well, in hopes of understanding what I was doing wrong.  As soon as I adjusted the div, dreamweaver the moved immediately outside the boundaries of the div, that they were on top.  Code is below.

    If you put this in a file in dreamweaver and preview, you can see that the div with the text it displays on the top of the div with the image in it; as soon as I try to adjust the positioning of the div with text, dreamweaver it moves outside the div with the image boundaries.  Thanks in advance.
