• Streaming problems within Windows Live Movie Maker in Vista

  I have Vista Service Pack 2. I imported my Toshiba Camileo S20 camcorder .avi files in Windows Live Movie Maker.  I have problems with the broadcasting project.  The voice and video are not synchronized.  Also the video hangs during playback.  I don't know why this has started happening since I use this software for a few years and have the same computer, Windows updated constantly, and have never had this problem before.

  When I save the movie and Windows DVD Maker allows you to create and burn a movie to a DVD, the film is not too clear during playback on my TV.

  I'm not too knowledgeable about the software verbage and what are some programs, for example, "codec".  So if you can help me solve my problem in simple terms I would appreciate it.

  I did a restore to factory settings to enter my computer because I didn't have a password.  I put video files on my computer, but they appear as files of Windows Live.  When I click on them, they go to Windows Live Movie Maker.  How can I convert the videos to the files that will play in Windows Media Player?

  Is there a way I can control zooming in on a photo and the progressive zoom on in Windows Live Movie Maker? I want to plan big zoom on a face and gradually zoom back to the overview.  In the help topic it is said to use the icon MORE, but I can't find that in the Pan and zoom toolbar.

  I'm angry. I am trying to set up a family video Christmas and notice the limited amount of manipulation that has Windows Live Movie Maker. I think remember me the XP version allowing the video to be accelerated or slowed down. I tried to change it on my old computer, XP version cannot open.   Sorry I should have been more specific.  Movie maker is part of the "windows Essentials" and that should be in your control panel.  If you have other parts of windows essentials (like windows live mail), you can delete just the Director.  If you have only the Director, you can delete it all.
