Apex 4 or 5 zoom function and macros and update questions

Presently, got open users in Excel via odbc tables and I want to transfer to Apex.

1. How can I reduce the Apex down police according to the Excel zoom feature so that more data gets to the screen.   I want a LOT of data on the screen, Ive got some end users who wish to up to 100 + rows and columns of 30 +, they don't mind the size and readability, the screens are big and have macros that are constantly highlighting changes to data they are interested in what brings us to question 2

2. how macros script to Flash color changes.

3. how data streams constantly modify data in a table live the Apex report and apply these macros.   Refresh rate?

IM in dev with version 4, but if a feature isn't available until the level 5 I can hold off.

Hello

All the above mentioned requirements can be done in one of the APEX, version 4 or 5.

1. it is a change of POLICE CSS based on the model of HTML page, and it is supported in the APEX 4 and 5 times.

2. for changes from flashing color macros (formulas), you should design your SQL query and insert various HTML tags in SQL query results.

3. updating of the page tables, can be programmed using jQuery functions.

So, basically we expect 5 APEX as your condition does not use what is explicit to APEX 5.0 /.

Thank you

  • APEX 4.2 translate data 'function and Global Variable declaration '.

    Hello everyone,

    I use APEX 4.2.1.00.08 and I wonder if there is a way to translate "Function and Global Variable declaration" textarea. Any other script text box is available for translation, but not this one.
    I know what the code is loaded on the header, but may contain important alert messages of global functions.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Grandmaster,

    "Function and global variables declaration" contains the JavaScript code, that is why it is not wise to include in the standard translation process.

    In my opinion, you have several options to access your translated messages:

    -) Use Application-> Substitutions or
    -) Store your message in the form of component shared-> SMS and and assign it to an application with the APEX_LANG element. Api MESSAGE (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E37097_01/doc/doc.42/e35127/apex_lang.htm#CHDBCEAB)

    In 'Function and Global Variable declaration' use substitution syntax to replace the value. For example:

    var myDeleteMessage = "&G_MY_DELETE_MESSAGE.";
    ...
    alert(myDeleteMessage);

    where G_MY_DELETE_MESSAGE would be a part of the application or the request for Substitution.

  • Windows Vista Zoom function

    Does anyone know how to disable the function of zoom on Vista?  I have absolutely no use for it at all - my vision is very well!  I have a mouse on my computer and just use the touch pad.  The slightest movement activates the zoom function, and it drives me crazy.  If I can't turn off the zoom feature, simply honestly to get rid of Vista.

    Hi Cameron Turner,

    Thank you for using the Microsoft Windows Vista Forums.

    Follow the instructions below to turn off the Magnifier.

    1. click on start > Control Panel.

    2. click on "ease of access Center.

    3. under "Ease of Access Center", click "optimize Visual Display".

    4. make sure that the "Enable on the magnifying glass" is unchecked.

    5. click on "Save".

    6. restart the computer.

  • Oracle form functions and procedures in the APEX, how?

    I'm working to recreate in the APEX, already existing read only forms in Oracle Forms. Report features interactive APEX among other things, in fact worth as well as to target a different audience than utilizies versions of Oracle Form. Versions of Oracle Forms use a lot of pre and post query triggers, PLSQL functions.

    In Oracle Forms that places, these functions can be found in the "Units of program" section of the form. A feature typical of this kind, based on a particular Mission ID route, collecting names of regular passengers, is shaped with a comma and a space after each of them, in a single string that is returned and displayed the list of passengers of a line.

    I have all of this written code so I can move most of the main request of the Oracle form in an interactive report. These functions and triggers called in the form of the "Units of program" section of the Oracle form rather than stored in the database schema in a package, where they would go inside the APEX? Can I create a 'shortcut' in the APEX and call it from the interactive report "Source Région"? I can create the PLSQL function at the level of the region of the interactive report or page level? Or, my best bet creates a package that is stored in the database, all these functions and/or proecedures I might need the original form of Oracle?

    Some advice would be greatly appreciated.

    RLBickham wrote:
    I don't think I've been pretty clear in the description of the specific thing I want to do, simply, it does not reach the level of forms of conversion of the APEX. It is basically a problem of PLSQL function.

    I have an interactive report which is currently 90 percent of what I want however, each line, which represents a Mission may have several feet. Each arm has two places or ICAO codes attached to it. Based on the number of Mission, I want to loop through the array of leg, collect all the codes of ICAO for this Mission, put them together in 1 variable separated by a coma and add this variable to display the columns in this interactive report as the last column.

    In Oracle Forms, I have a function registered in the database, which is called in the main query. Maybe I ask a question that does not need to be asked, but anyway my question is can I put this function currently in the database somewhere within the interactive report and somehow reference it via Http, or should I just stick with set of functions and procedures in the packages stored in the database and called the conventional way?

    You could switch the function to the database and call it from the report query, but it sounds as if it were superfluous. In the report query using any form of Re: 4. How can I convert rows to columns? is appropriate for your version of the (unspecified) database.

    When you have a problem, you will get an answer faster, more efficient including information as much information as possible from the outset. This should include:

  • Full version of APEX
  • Complete operating system DB, version, edition, host
  • Architecture of Web server (EPG, SST or APEX listener/host operating system)
  • Browser (s) and version (s) used
  • Theme
  • Model (s)

  • Region/section type (s) (particularly as to distinguish if a 'report' is a standard report, an interactive report, or indeed a 'update report' (i.e. a tabular presentation))

    With APEX, we also had the chance to have a great resource in apex.oracle.com where we can reproduce and share problems. Reproduce things is the best way to solve most of the questions, particularly those relating to the layout and Visual formatting. If you expect a detailed response it is appropriate that you take on an important part of the effort by getting as much as possible with an example of the problem on apex.oracle.com before asking for help on specific issues, then we can see firsthand.

  • Scene Builder: zoom-in and zoom-out functionality

    Anyone know if it is possible to zoom-in and zoom-out the entire scene with SceneBuilder (version 1.0 - b45)?
    In my application, I have to manage custom controls with small dimensions of installation (up to 20 x 20 px), and it would be very useful feature and make life a little more easy work at the pixel level.

    If it is not possible in the current version, is it possible to see this feature in future versions of stage Builder?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

    No, it is not possible in this version. If you work on a Mac, you can easily zoom in using the zoom of the system. Press the CTRL key and use the mouse wheel to zoom in on any part of the screen. I don't know if windows has a similar feature if.

  • Each page is a zoomed out, and if I Zoom it, it is a normal size for a while, but when I close firefox and open it again, it has zoom out again, I have to zoom each page everytime I open a new page.

    Each page is a zoomed out, and if I Zoom it, it is a normal size for a while, but when I close firefox and open it again, it has zoom out again, I have to zoom each page everytime I open a new page.

    How to use Zoom?

    The function Zoom of Page Firefox does a level of field by field to save favorite settings level users zoom, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox. Try these extensions:

    -> Default FullZoom Level 4.5

    -> NoSquint 2.1.2

    Check and tell if its working.

  • AutoScale after Zoom Pan and change the axis interval

    I'm trying to connect the axes x many ScatterGraphs and I was wondering how to restore the graphics to their original point of view drawn once a user has made a lot of zoom, pan and axis range chages.  Basically how do you perform an autoscale on one axis without having to cancel each operation individually.  In the old graphic activex controls, there is an AutoScaleNow function that has done this.

    Also, how to cancel a change of range that has been achieved through code?  If interactively modify you a range, it seems the SHIFT-RIGHT CLICK to cancel the operation.  If the event of range change is captured and applied to the other charts, it can not be canceled.

    Use ScatterGraph.ResetZoomPan () to cancel all zoom, pan and change of range in a scattergraph operations. This will cancel the range changes made in the UI, but not changes made through code. To changes in the code, you will have to manage undo operations. You can store the original lines and go back to those who, when necessary. Or you can force a re-AutoScale by changing the mode of scale axis as shown below:

    scatterGraph1.XAxes [0]. Mode = NationalInstruments.UI.AxisMode.Fixed;
    scatterGraph1.XAxes [0]. Mode = NationalInstruments.UI.AxisMode.AutoScaleLoose;
    scatterGraph1.YAxes [0]. Mode = NationalInstruments.UI.AxisMode.Fixed;
    scatterGraph1.YAxes [0]. Mode = NationalInstruments.UI.AxisMode.AutoScaleLoose;

    Hi, compare the zoom slider and a padlock, in the library mode is absent from my main screen and doesn't appear in the second window, if this field is selected.  It's a change with LR5.6, or do I have to do something to select this feature?  I find the comparison function much easier to use on the main screen, rather than in the second window.

    The padlock and the cursor should show on two screens, but maybe you have the toolbar hidden. Try pressing the button T a couple of times to toggle the toolbar.

  • apex.jQuery is not a function

    I searched the forums without much joy. If this has been previously validated with a solution can someone point me there. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Praj,

    Well if it works, then it must be some kind of colission or conflicts with your different javascript libraries that you use. It's almost impossible to debug via the forum. If there is a conflict, you might want to try to reference your custom first, libraries then the apex files as I am pretty sure apex uses jQuery.noConflict)

  • Script for Zoom In and Out at specific intervals

    I've dabbled with javascript in the past, but I'm a total newb to Photoshop scripts.

    What I need is a script I can use to zoom in at specific intervals and another to zoom out to the same frequency.  I intend to use these two scripts in conjunction with configurator to make some buttons to do the tasks.

    For example...

    Current zoom is 30%.  Zoom in Script has an array of zoom levels: 12.5%, 25%, 50%, 100%, 200%, 300%, 400%.  The script should detect the current level of zoom in and find the next higher zoom level, 50%, and then assign this new zoom window.

    Similarly, Zoom out would do the same operation by selecting the next zoom low, 25 percent.

    That's all in order to get back some of the features of CS5 CS6.  I used the menu to zoom at the top of the screen TO move preset zoom levels when you draw on my Wacom Cintiq. This Configurator Panel would give more this feature back.

    One of you gurus of coding can help me with this?  Or at least give me a hint on how to handle the zoom percentage in Photoshop using javascript?

    Thank you!!!

    Matt

    That should do it...

    main();function main(){/****************Use either zoomIn();zoomOut();**************/if(!documents.length) return;var zoomLevels=[12.5, 25, 50, 100, 200, 300, 400];zoomIn();//zoomOut();

    function zoomIn(){var zoomLevel = getZoomLevel();for(var z in zoomLevels){    if(Number(zoomLevels[z]) > Number(zoomLevel)){        setZoomLevel(zoomLevels[z]);        break;        }    }};function zoomOut(){var zoomLevel = getZoomLevel();zoomLevels.reverse();for(var z in zoomLevels){    if(Number(zoomLevels[z]) < zoomLevel){        setZoomLevel(zoomLevels[z]);        break;        }    }};function getZoomLevel(){var ref = new ActionReference();ref.putEnumerated( charIDToTypeID("Dcmn"), charIDToTypeID("Ordn"), charIDToTypeID("Trgt") ); var desc = executeActionGet(ref);return Number(desc.getDouble(stringIDToTypeID('zoom'))*100).toFixed(1);};function setZoomLevel( zoom ) {     if(zoom < 1 ) zoom =1;   var ref = new ActionReference();    ref.putEnumerated( charIDToTypeID("capp"), charIDToTypeID("Ordn"), charIDToTypeID("Trgt") );    var getScrRes = executeActionGet(ref).getObjectValue(stringIDToTypeID('unitsPrefs')).getUnitDoubleValue(stringIDToTypeID('newDocPresetScreenResolution'))/72;    var docRes = activeDocument.resolution;    activeDocument.resizeImage( undefined, undefined, getScrRes/(zoom/100), ResampleMethod.NONE );    var desc = new ActionDescriptor();    ref = null;   ref = new ActionReference();    ref.putEnumerated( charIDToTypeID( "Mn  " ), charIDToTypeID( "MnIt" ), charIDToTypeID( 'PrnS' ) );    desc.putReference( charIDToTypeID( "null" ), ref );    executeAction( charIDToTypeID( "slct" ), desc, DialogModes.NO );    activeDocument.resizeImage( undefined, undefined, docRes, ResampleMethod.NONE ); };};

  • Zoom in and out the image

    My teacher went to the bed, but I thought try and move forward.  I'm a bit stuck well.  I have an image gallery that loads the images on the media of miniature sizes.  When one of the images is enabled, I darken the background and Tween Lite allows you to zoom the image.  To do this, I essentially clone the bitmap of the original image, place it at the exact location of the original image and use it as my Zoom tool.  My method is

    private function modelClicked(e:MouseEvent):void
            {
                stage.addChild(screen);
                var item:ModelsItem = e.currentTarget as ModelsItem;
                var originalBitmap:Bitmap = item.bitmap;
                clonedBitmap = new Bitmap(originalBitmap.bitmapData.clone());

                stage.addChild(clonedBitmap);

                var rect:Rectangle = originalBitmap.getBounds(stage);
                clonedBitmap.x = rect.x;
                clonedBitmap.y = rect.y;
                clonedBitmap.width = rect.width;
                clonedBitmap.height = rect.height;

                TweenLite.to(clonedBitmap, 2, { x: (stage.stageWidth - originalBitmap.width) / 4, y: (stage.stageHeight - originalBitmap.height) / 6, onComplete:zoomInFinished, scaleX: 1, scaleY: 1 });

            }

    This works well.  I added an event for when the zoom is complete.  The reason is that if the user clicks on the mouse anywhere on the screen, the image should zoom out and all appropriate measures taken.  So I don't

    private function zoomInFinished():void
            {
                trace("Zoom In Finished");
                stage.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, mouseClicked);
            }

    And then

    private function mouseClicked(e:MouseEvent):void
            {
                trace("Mouse Clicked");
                stage.removeChild(screen);
                stage.removeChild(clonedBitmap);
            }

    I can't know what to remove and what to add.  I now remove the dark background (screen) and the clonedBitmap (which I don't want loads and loads of bitmaps if the user click on the small image several times).  I think I should also remove the MouseEvent.

    What happens now, is that you click on the small image that zoom in to enlarge.  When you click on the larger image, it disappears and you return to the original gallery.  However, if you try to click on another small picture, nothing happens.  Is the method that I initially put a MouseEvent on small images

    private function populateItems():void
            {
                for (var i:int = 0; i < Math.min(COLS * ROWS, data.picture.length()); i++)
                {
                    var item:ModelsItem = new ModelsItem();
                    item.data = data.picture[i];
                    item.x = PADDING_LEFT + (i % COLS) * (ModelsItem.ITEM_WIDTH + GAP_HORIZONTAL);
                    item.y = PADDING_TOP + Math.floor(i / COLS) * (ModelsItem.ITEM_HEIGHT + GAP_VERTICAL);
                    item.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, modelClicked);
                    itemsHolder.addChild(item);
                    sp.source = itemsHolder;
                    items.push(item);
                }
                sp.verticalScrollPolicy = "on";
                sp.horizontalScrollPolicy = "off";
                sp.update();
            }

    So I don't know if I should somehow invoke this EventListener on all points again?

    No matter what valued Advisor,

    Nick

    You must remove the eventListener in its handler function, so it triggers only once.

    private function mouseClicked(e:MouseEvent):void
    {
        stage.removeEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, mouseClicked);
        trace("Mouse Clicked");
        stage.removeChild(screen);
        stage.removeChild(clonedBitmap);
    }

  • I can't find the tab display to Zoom in and out! My small got policy and I do not know how to enlarge without zoom!

    My policy on Facebook got suddenly very LOW. In the past, when this happened in Firefox, I simply went to the bar and clicked on DISPLAY and then zoom in or out. NOW, there is NONE of the old wanted and loved tabs at the top of the new horrible page. WHERE is the DISPLAY tab or the zoom FRONT and ZOOM back tab?

    Usually, you have the orange Firefox button or the classic menu bar, but not both at the same time.

    You should be able to switch at the back of this way:

    If the classic menu bar is not displayed, press the Alt key to display it, and then use

    View > toolbars > Menu bar

    to make it persistent. It should replace the orange Firefox button. To switch back, uncheck the box

    View > toolbars > Menu bar

    Does it work?

    In addition, you can zoom in now the CTRL key and scrolling your mouse wheel. It is an adjustment of finder, but can be more difficult to control.

    Maybe keep a logical button/contol and connect it to enlarge the property indicator of the image factor.
