  Pivot table-> column measures->, click on more Options-> Format positions-> in the Custom CSS Style (HTML only) Options-> check use custom CSS Style

  Yes. As narrated by Sunil, you must change the property view as of column DESCRIPTION Standard report column if you use the component view. If you use Page Designer view, and then set the column of Type plain text and No special escape characters .

  I am trying to create values of percentage based on the count aggregation.
  
  For example in the 11g Sample Sales Data Model, I added 3 logical columns, Order_Count, Orders_Shipped, OrdersShipped %
  
  As follows:
  (1) Order_count
  Derives from physical mapping of count (Revenue.ORDER_NUMBER F1)
  
  Shipped_Count 2)
  It's an expression derived for add a filter on the order_count of order_status. So I did this:
  Filter ("Sample Sales".) "Revenue of F1" "." " Order_Count"using"Sample Sales ". "' Revenue from F1. ("' Order_status ' = 3-expedie ')
  
  (3) % OrdersShipped
  Again, it is an expression derived from calc the % of
  "Sample Sales". "' Revenue from F1. "" Shipped_Count "/" Sample Sales ". "' Revenue from F1. "" Order_Count "* 100
  
  In my analysis, the Order_Count and the Shipped_Count display correctly.
  
  However, the % OrdersShipped always displays as 0.0000%.
  
  I changed the format of data for the % OrderShipped to a type of percentage with 4 decimal places.
  
  I also tried to add the % column analysis directly instead of the DM by doing this
  "Basic facts". "count_shipped" / "core facts". "" Order_Count "* 100
  
  Yet once, it appears as 0.000%
  
  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  DB,

  Try multiplying the numerator and the denominator by 1.0. This will throw your integers to floating-point numbers and your result will display correctly.

• Apex 4.2 - column HTML expression

  I have a (classical) in 4.0.2 Apex SQL statement with the next column

    decode(some_col,NULL,NULL,'class="foo"') foo

  This column does not appear in the report, but the value is used to construct the HTML Expression in another column that appears. The HTML Expression goes like this

   <img #FOO# src="/i/menu/add-small.png"/>

  It is a CSS snippet that img.foo styles as needed.
  
  In v4.0.2, this is made in the form

   <img class="foo" src="/i/menu/add-small.png"/>

  But in 4.2, it comes out as

   <img class=""foo"" src="/i/menu/add-small.png"/>

  Notice the doubling of the quotes. In addition to being the invalid markup, the CSS is not kick in if the element is not get made.
  
  Is this a bug? Either my app just against the ongoing effort to generate markup more meets standards? Is there a solution?

  Hi Vikas,

  can you please check what type of ' display under "your column"foo"is. Is - this "show as text (escape special characters, no State not sure)".

  For security reasons (to avoid possible XSS attacks), need to improve automatic column values avoidance, if a column is used as the value of substitution (in expressions of HTML and other places). Type "display as" the substitute column defines if the value must be escaped before replacement or if it should be used without change. So in your case if you change your column "foo" to "* Standard report column *" you should get 'foo' without the quotes escaped. To my knowledge, this security change was introduced in APEX 4.1.

  If I'm on the wrong track and it's not your symtom, can you please create a test on apex.oracle.com case.

  I get great help from this forum and I am very frequently. This time, I have a question about Tables, how to manipulate fields in a table using JavaScript. The requirement is as follows, I have a Table (100rows x 3columns), and few of them are hidden in the page layout. The first column contains the values of text such as sequential numbers, (the first column is visual index, 1, 2, 3... 100). now, I'm trying to write a script that replaces or substitutes the first column values in the text areas of space. Can you guys help out me if you do a script? or give me some resources where I can manipulate the fields from the table using JavaScript?

  It seems that the table is static and will always three rows during execution. In other words, the user cannot add more lines. If this correct?

  You need not resolve the nodes in this case, because you are referencing fields and specific lines.

  Because the script is located in the square, which is in the same container as the table, the following would erase the contents of the fields in the second column:

  Table1.Row1[1].TextField3.rawValue = null;
  

  Your script accesses an object in the second row called Cell1. This seems to be a text object has no property .rawValue If you want to change the value at run time, you will need to change this to a TextField object.

  In addition, looks like that is not an object in the second row (Row1 [1]) called "Cell1". It seems that the first object is unnamed. This will also cause the script to fail. When debugging, it is useful to use the JavaScript Console to see the (control + J) errors when previewing the form or in Acrobat.

  Today, you have only 3 months JAN, Feb, Mar. Is it always the same number of columns. What happens if several months ago we added this line?

  Your data is really coming from relational source or some sort of text file?

  There is a better way to do this in narrative using HTML mode, if your condition is just to show them in several lines and do some math.

  Go to Narrative display;

  In the prefix, use

  In the text box 'Story' add something like that

  
  
  

  As a suffix, use

  You can also add simple calculations like sum etc at the bottom of these lines as the overall totals.

  Yes, it can be. Click on a column and go to Format values > additional formatting Options > width. Try putting 50%, 60% if you want to, they grow.

  Header Format similiarly will work for the size of the header.

  I have the aggregation of data on my PivotTable set to display totals for all rows and all columns. But they appear exactly like all other cells. To distinguish them clearly, I want to change the color of this entire column and the row that displays totals at the end of something different - say "Grey".

  Is it possible to do this?... preferably without binding the bean pivot table,...

  DataIsTotal metadata allows you to set a color if dataIsTotal is set to true.
