  How to solve this error?

  "Cannot perform the operation. The document or folder may have been deleted, or you may not.

  "Caused by: oracle.stellent.ridc.protocol.http.HttpProtocolException: Http status: HTTP/1.1 302 moved temporarily".

  Your connection to the repository is probably incorrect.  Since you don't seem to be authenticated before the request, the system redirects you to a login page of the form to function, which can not handle the RIDC call.

  ' Change the connection of your repository of "http:///cs/idcplg" to "http:///_dav/cs/idcplg.  Now you can pass your credentials from the user by using the basic authentication scheme, and the redirect will not happen.

  I'm having a problem with IE not displaying no not my content in an IFrame - due to the EI trust don't not cookies from the Apex.

  This issue has been resolved on the Apex forum in 2009 - https://forums.oracle.com/thread/887792

  That has not fixed it :-(

  However, I used to inspect response headers and found that unless the page I was trying to access has been LOGIN_DESKTOP so the answer has been: 302 moved temporarily

  Hi Umer,

  According to customer relationships I would expect that there are no conflicts or compatibility issues when you upgrade to point 4.1.1.
  Only in the field of custom authentication schemes it might be hickups because this area much changed in 4.1.1
  but it really depends on how your custom authentication scheme consistent standard is.

• Performance (listener APEX) glassFish and ADR issues

  We have a number of applications available APEX to APEX Listener installed on 4.1 GlassFish (Open Source Edition). The APEX is version 2.0.9.224.01.07.

  Any installation is using the default values, the documentation available now.

  The problem is that after a while (two days, maybe weeks) the answer is really slow, which means you have to wait a few minutes to change pages or get the application to react. While everything works normally by another instance of GlassFish and auditor of the APEX, which means that everything is ok with the database and the problem must be with the GlassFish and/or listener of the APEX. After you restart GlassFish domain things to improve for a while, but finally that we are facing problems of performance even. There is nothing suspicious in the newspapers of GlassFish, and we do not know where to look further.

  I tried the web search for more information on how to configure GlassFish and APEX listener for the documentation and production environments, but did not find much. We increased settings memory JVM for GlassFish to 2 GB, but I would like to know is there something else about the GlassFish settings (son HTTP, JDBC, pool etc.) we could do to avoid the problems described, or is there a way to detect what is the real problem. Any suggestions or pointers to relevant documents?

  For ADR + Glassfish performance should be on two fronts:

  • Side of GlassFish:

  As you use 4.1 GlassFish (Open Source Edition) you should refer to the official documentation for Glassfish 4.

  But as I've used Oracle Glassfish Server 3.1 which comes with the integrated tuner. I just follow the following documentation:

  • Side of ADR:

  The performance tuning side ADR includes the correct JDBC settings in the ADR configuration files.

  So, set your ADR for instance so that you get the performance you want. For this you will need: change the JDBC settings-> load/stress test and repeat this operation.

• APEX Explorer objects shows nothing

  Hello!

  I have a problem with the object browser which only shows the "Object browser" topic and the bar gray with the + - button and footer but nothing between (only white space where normally the select list for the table, view... and other data is displayed). All other things work normal. The problem only occurs in a single schema and a single user. With another user, or in workspaces one other on the same PB, everything's fine. IM using APEX 5.0.0 on 11gXE with ADR / Tomcat. I tried to rename the user that works, but when I rename the user to the wrong username or create a new user with the defective username of the object browser is defective. I have tried different browsers and computers and clears the cache and data Web site, change the user rights, to delete and recreate the user... but nothing solved the problem. Someone at - there idea has what to try next?

  I understand the 'problem '.  There is a bar very think vertical collapse on the side left you need to open.   I guess that for now its status retain in the sessions.

• AddressBook issues when moving from T5 to Centro - strange characters

  I installed the Palm Centro (5.4.9) software today and populated with the information of my Tungsten T5. First of all, I had a problem with the sync (the issue of database Trace of Pm), which I could solve with the valuable information that found in this community (I installed the run).

  Now, I have another question. The address book has been transferred smoothly to the new Palm Desktop, but in the computer Pocket (AddressBook as Contacts), that all the records are there, strange characters appeared: in edit mode, instead of the names of some fields (Mobile, Fax, address, city, State, etc.) it shows a sequence of several zeros, square, capital we and number 8. In the display mode, these characters are transformed into a sequence of zeros.

  My OS is Windows XP Pro SP2. My Centro is a Brazilian operator (in Vivo).

  Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

• Skillbuilders modal page at the Apex 4.1 plugin issues

  I applied the Skillbuilders modal page plugin in my application. Everything works fine except that when I close the popup - window is not getting updated my parent window.
  I put the dynamic action - Auto Close modal and you - update on the parent page report.

  You're all set. I put the link of the event for you DA from the album Live to Bind. This is necessary because the living places of event on the document element bindings, but seems to only listen to events fired on his descendants.

  I also fixed a bug in the JS that displays the success message. He now calls empty() to avoid adding duplicate success messages.

• Upgrade of the APEX v3 for 4 issues

  I am trying to improve Apex v3 to v4, and we have the following questions:
  
  * The buttons do not work (doesn't do anything when you press on)
  * The show change the links appear automatically, and the arrows of edit link appear blue.
  * The values not being saved on the session.

  My guess is the IMAGE_PRIFIX too. We had the same problem. I created a separate instance to upgrade our dev environment and changed the Image directory for versions 3 and 4 of Apex to use the same Web server. All you need to do is change the directory of the image, go to components that are shared for the application. Then, definition, change the prefix of Image on this page.

• Safari to Internet Explorer browser compatibility issue

  I recently learn some basics in Dreamweaver MX and CS3, I have developed a website and im having a problem with one of the pages in internet explore the topic page of city-room dining. I created the site by slicing my drawing in photoshop and creating a table in dreamweaver in the same width in pixels, and then insert the jpg files in the table, the cell with the flash is transparent flash over image bg of a cell, I did something similar for the text box on each page... I think this is where the problem is city meals page as I have to text boxes , for some reason, they appear in safari but internet Explorer the table cells seem to be thrown everywhere, if anyone has any suggestions in what I have to do this would be greatly appreciated

  Certainly, but the text in absolute positioning containers can be embarrassing as well.  Do it the way I suggested.  Your page will be expand vertically if the text is resized, you will therefore need to accommodate in your table background (i.e. having the unified image as I suggested, use CSS so that it is not the tile, * and * specify a background color that is consistent with the lower part of the image so that as the table grows vertically the background color is seen below the image).  But things are not all broken on you.

  When I was looking through different discussions and guides, I met the checkbox corresponding names of painting as 'g_f01' - 'g_f50 '. And so far I have seen that these names are derived from the name of the element in the generated HTML code, for example:

  The array of names apex_application.g_f01 - apex_application.g_f50 are used for tabular forms.

  What you have is a page element. And a box page can be referenced to use as any other page element. Especially with his name.
  In your case P6_ANSWER.

  There is one thing to look out for. If the LOV you defined for the page box element has multiple values. Then more then 1 box will be shown for this element of the page. And the values saved are stored in the element in the form of colon delimited values.

• Catalog issues and moving Images...

  
  Since I started using Lighroom, I kept all the images in one catalog on my laptop hard drive. It was time to change that and move all the images in my NAS, plus a copy of the set on another external drive to backup and keep copies of images on my computer laptop for when I am disconnected and I want to show my best work.

  Seemed the only way to do was to use two catalogs, so I created a new one for the images on the NAS.

  After checking that everything was good and make a backup of the catalog of cell, I copied the main folder of images and the sidecars on the NAS. Then, I opened the new catalogue which was empty and all imported from the new location.

  So, now I have two catalogs and both saved as catalogs and full picture sets so I'm good no matter what. Let's call them portable and network. I haven't deleted anything on the laptop.

  Network found not alone the images, but anyway 21 rather than on the laptop. Can't figure out how the number of images might be different, but they are. Not really a problem, but a curiosity, no?

  All changes are here. Images seem identical laptop. Keywords, image titles, records - all perfect.

  But here are my questions:

  I lost my edit stories. I mean, if I compare a RAW image edited on laptop. I can see the original image before I started to edit it. It is sometimes very useful. On the catalogue of the network, it shows the current image and does not have the original song. The mobile catalogue shows the origin and current state.

  And I lost my collections. Not the end of the world, but would be so nice to not have to rebuild these.

  So, is it possible to get these two back? Suppose, a moment, two catalogs are identical (although there is this difference of 21 image). Can I do something with the catalogues or the Previews folder that would bring back the collections and the original images of pre-Assembly?

  I thought it is worth the visit until I started to delete images in Lightroom on the catalogue of the laptop and continue editing on the catalogue of the network. No matter what? Export as catalog and replace the .lrcat and rename? Copy it to the root - pixels.db? A tip?

  And last, if someone reads, a feature request:

  It would be nice to have a preference to select the number of backups to keep. For example, if I could fix it to ten, I would never to worry at all about the backup after each session and want to remove older backups is more necessary.

  You probably imported pictures in the 2nd catalog. Once you have pictures in a catalog, you should not never import again. Never re - import!

  Go to your original catalog, select the images that you want in the 'new 2nd catalogue' and then file-> export as catalog

• HEAD APEX http request behavior

  We have encountered a problem with APEX and how applications respond to http HEAD requests.  Initially, we are requested if it was something in our APEX/ADR/Tomcat configuration, but have now turned up a similar behavior in other places.

  For example, look at the output of these:

  In summary a GET to the URL request Apex returns a 200 response (or an intermediary 302), but a HEAD request to the same URL return 404.

  A client of ours uses the http HEAD requests to validate published URLs and triggers a follow-up error if a 404 error.  In our case, the URL is exposed through an APEX application and the 404 is encountered.

  Please can someone explain what is happening here and why.

  I have good and bad news.

  Good news: you have helped to identify a bug (Bug 20601219), filed against Oracle REST Data Services.  Not short, there is no support for HEAD when you apply through the gateway PL/SQL (the piece of logic that makes the call to the APEX engine).

  Bad news: until this is resolved in a future release of Oracle REST Data Services, we are not aware of any type of workaround.  Using mod_rewrite or any other technology to rewrite to convert the HEAD request to a GET request may * not * be enough.
