• Account Pro DPS and a multi-folio app distribution + analytical

  Here's the thing again.

  I talked to my client and he explained how complex it is to follow each (out of 30) who consults a folio.

  So now, what he would be fundamentally happy just to know the overall time of how long a folio was seen, and also to see what items have been read the most and for how long.

  You need a company for private distribution account.

  You could fake it by using the content viewer Adobe and putting an overlay of web on each page with a link to a web page with google analytic. Which would give you a very basic idea of what is being looked at assuming that each user is online. In addition, you will need to use enterprise.

  I need help. I built an app for iPad unique edition which is a training manual that my client needs to distribute only to customers who have purchased a training course. The application must therefore be distributed privately.

• Company to remove the App Profile Manager - error occurred

  Server 5.1, El Cap 10.11.4

  We recently completely flies over to VPP for our App distribution.  Previously, we did the way of old-skool share iOS applications (download the application on our server after you download it from the iTunes store).

  I now want to delete all old ' Enterprise' applications and just keep my VPP catalog.

  When I select an application, click on the sign - to delete, then I get an error message.

  Any thoughts?

  Sorry, I forgot to mention a critical point.

  If you type the name on the Mail-it app distribution list don't work - the list is truncated. BUT if you enter the distribution list by pressing the symbol 'more' and selecting your contacts, the list will appear I'm in full (except for the first name as I have explained previously).

• Devloper (.ipa) application created to test, but I can't transfer edition simple app to version update

  Hello

  I went through the process of creating the app developer and distribution. I wanted to test the app distribution before putting on the shop online. You must use a license "Integrated single edition App" of Adobe to create the application developer and distribution.

  Once tested, we found a small error. But once I rebuilt the app to create another file to developer to test, I found I could not use the same number series unique edition App, or transfer, or even delete the original file and try again.

  It seems a little harsh that the process to create a test file, but if you use a single edition you cannot change anything at this time there anyway.

  Is there a way to get around this?

  Contact the prouduct support and ask them to restore the license for you. Or better yet sign up for creative cloud, which gives you the ability to create unlimited unique edition applications as long as you keep your membership.

  Apple has a limit of 100 device by provisioning profile for ad hoc distribution. It is a heavy method at best and will not evolve easily up to 1000 ipads.

  The correct solution for this type of behavior you want is a license of the company Apple and DPS. This will allow you to build an application that can be distributed outside the Apple app store, to your employees only. According to the participants to control the level of access to the content, folios can be published as a free public (access control by controlling the app distribution) or published under the title of public/detail using direct right to the API to provide access level connection to the folio in the app.

• Manager profile: some applications push successfully each time, others never push successfully

  I have a cool (from about 3 weeks) version of 10.11.1 the install app server with the configured profile manager and was previously fully functional.  This morning I went in VPP and 'bought' 8 new free applications that appeared in my list of application profiles manager soon after.

  Now, I have 6 apps that will grow to 100% of the time without error of iPads.  One is a company of ipa, is a managed distribution VPP (notability) app, the other four are free apps 'purchased' via VPP this morning (OneDrive, Quizlet, iBooks, K3000 Firefly).  These push and re-grow my devices to test without problem each time.

  However, I then an another five apps that fail every time during the initial registration of a wiping device and subsequent attempts manually, select them and push them into the Profile Manager.  These 5 are another successful distribution VPP app (AudioNote, who was working when pushed since last week), the other four are free apps "bought" the VPP store this morning (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Flashcards *).  These failures are recorded in the "completed tasks" without any details on why he didn't actually and do not appear on devices.

  Until this morning I had only been pushing two distribution managed VPP apps and both worked very well.  This behavior has persisted after a few reboots the server MP, turning off the firewall, etc.

  I turned on logging APNS but do not see anything clearly wrong being connected here in these applications fail.  I don't see anything that seems to be of importance in the /Library/Logs/apsd.log well.

  This has been/is somehow iOS 8.3 related well that I was not really able to determine exactly what is happening.  My test devices were fresh, out of the box with iOS 8.3.  I could go in the app store and download applications that have failed without problem even if so it wasn't simply a 8.3 problem of incompatibility app for these particular applications.  After their passage to 9.1 applications grow now as expected.  I have no explanation for why AudioNote would drive forward to the devices iOS 8.3 without problem but then decided to stop pushing until they had 9.1.  The behaviour persisted many wipes, reboots, and registration so it wasn't just reset that occurred within the framework of the iOS update.

  The only way you can do this with DPS is to create simple editing applications using a company DPS account and use the Apple enterprise app distribution mechanism.

  I have an embarrassing and frustrating problem. My application is already go, I downloaded the .ipa file and tested. It works fine on the iPad. But when the time came to create the app distribution (.zip) file, I get an error 'signature impossible, please try again. '

  I tried, in vain, the following:

  -J' checked my certificates p12. They were valid. I even recreated both times, whenever it has failed.

  -J' I rebuilt my folio twice. I even tried to delete everything except an article then trying to export the application distribution

  -J' renamed the article names just of alphabets and numbers, no special characters

  Yet, despite all my efforts, I get this error. What Miss me?

  Thanks, Neil! You are a God. It turns out that I have an expired distribution p12 by my counterpart outside my company gave me. (The joys of sharing a company account).

• "Unknown type" under my Viewer in sandbox mode

  Is it all just because I'm on sandbox mode or have I missed something somewhere? I double checked the details of the application on iTunes Connect and I have certainly classified as the main class app: 'Lifestyle', secondary category: "kiosk".

  The app development you sideload don't has no categories defined, so what is expected. Apple adds this information when you submit the app distribution.

  2. read the iPad edition guide to create required certificates (attached). It is best if you complete the whole process of certificate on a Mac using keychain Access to avoid complications. When creating certificates, sure to uncheck enable to iCloud. I recommend to have channelled the guide in detail and follow the step by step process as mentioned in the guide.
