  The online app generator is not for iOS apps. There is no way around this restriction for iOS. You must use a Mac to create the application, although the content itself can be created under Windows.

  I seem to have a problem of creating an Android application of in DPS App generator. I wonder if someone could help see if I am doing something obviously wrong.

  With my app work (which works fine in the Preview on the Viewer application), since InDesign I then...

  1. select my Folio and the menu «Create App»

  2 when the Builder App Launches, I only see the option to create an iPad app. If I logout and back again using the same account, I can see a list of previously created applications. I can select "create new" at the bottom of the screen and go through all the steps correctly (app name, icons and splash screens etc.) and without error.

  3. I then finished creating the application and I'm able to download the .apk on my desk (after selection of the .p12 and the password)

  4. when I load this on my Nexus 7 and run, I get the splash screen and a white screen

  Here's the thing... Although I seem to have created an Android application, I don't know if I have actually , as I have not see any references to the Folio at the start of the version of Android (step 2 above). In addition, the file size seems too small for the included assets. I have created an 'empty' app that includes only the icons, the splash screen and the name (if necessary).

  For the record, the account I log within the App Builder is a DPS Professional Account.

  Using the workflow 'Create App"from the popup menu in Indesign is the workflow for a unique editing application integrated. And currently integrated unique edition app is not supported on Android, but because of that when you go through your workflow, you will only see the iPad and not Android app option.

  If you create an Android app, it must be a multi issue about where you post your your dahsboard folio and publish the same Folio to the distribution of Adobe server. And that you specify the ID of title as ID where you published the folio in your application builder when you create your android application.

  You can register a test of this new product of Digital Publishing Solution at http://www.adobe.com/go/dps , which will allow the use of the web version of App Builder for 30 days. There is no trial available for the previous product in Digital Publishing Suite.

  Then you need to either:

  (1) sign up for cloud creative then you can build a simple edition approx. attention however: this approach will no longer valid as of May 1, when we withdraw support for a unique creative cloud and unique edition apps are only on devices iPad.

  (2) sign up for a full license of DPS. You can request information on prices using Adobe | Request for consultation.

  After connect with my dnuee account and click on "Activate app", there is this message: "Activate your unique editing application by purchasing a serial number of Adobe store."

  I removed the DPS Builder app, restarted my computer and re-installed generator app DPS to try to solve the problem but it is not helping.

  Someone knows how to fix this?

  I already found the solution to this problem: first remove all the old plugins DPS (CS5 and 5.5) using the uninstall en then remove the app Builder.

  Reinstall the App generator and redo the folio. This method allowed for me.

  When I select Create from Indesign to create my application iPhone app, it goes to the app DPS constructor and then set to default iPad. How can I change to create an app instead of the iPad app? On the left side on DPS App Builder, I see the iPad and the details of the App. According to the guide of the Adobe, there is another screen that you select the type of application (iPhone and IPad).

  Do not use the command Create App. DPS App Builder from the Applications folder. Then log in with an account that has the role of DPS App Builder. You need a Pro or Enterprise subscription to create an application that works on iPhone and iPad. Create an application for both, not separate apps.

  I did a little simple RSS applications (mostly for my own use) by using the web portal APP generator. I am registered and approved on the supplier portal, have my signature keys and have parameters of payment information. When I go to submit one of these applications, I get an error of Mippin screen:

  "Sorry, that there was a problem with the page you requested, (sic) this problem were reported to the technical team of Mippin."

  Is there a problem with the site, or I do something wrong?

  I hope just a finger problem on my part.   When you try to connect to Blackberry App generator

  I have an approved provider account.  When you try to "forgotten password", it says "no user with this email address was found.  Also try regular BBID.

  This "App" generator uses different credentials for access?   If Yes, where can I register for it?

  Last weekend, I created an application using the App Builder - and I'm sure that when I click on submit, set vendor ID and it was loaded into my provider portal.

  I went to 2 more Monday, they are in my account App generator as show "In Review" after showing "Subject" - but neither in my supplier portal.

• Animated border OAM appearing pixelated in app Android DPS

  Recently, we have deployed the iOS and Android apps via DPS on a web server for deployment internal to a company (for one of our clients). The problem identified is the main menu, appearing with heavily pixelated assets graphics (only in the Android version of the app) - this was built using edge animate and published under the title an OAM.

  We have implemented patches CSS in the OAM, tried all options of scaling in DPS, reissued several times, updated versions of Viewer app and republished the apps - still no luck. As you can see, is that certain assets that are pixelated - we even tried to replace these png with alternatives - no luck.

  Can someone please help find a solution?

  So it seems a miracle happened. The content viewer has been updated to version 31.0.1.0.d0e628e from one day to the next and he completely solved our problem - maybe a bug known?

  There are two different platforms Android - Amazon and Google. DPS apps support in-app purchases for individual sheets in both platforms, but DPS apps support subscriptions than on Amazon. Support for the Google game subscriptions should be available later this year, if everything goes as planned.

• How to move an application from a mac on the DPS App generator on another mac

  When I try to download the Developer application, after adding new UDIDs for the certificate configuration, I get an error indicating that the application was built on another machine. Everything works fine once completed the original Mac I did build on. (This was created on a machine "freelance design" and it must now pass to the machine of the company. I tried to delete the app and start again, Ute the "Delete" option is grayed out. Using simple editing application.

  If you are a subscriber to creative cloud, you must have installed InDesign on the new Mac. Then you click "Create App" for Panel Builder Folio in InDesign on the new Mac.   I have problems to create my test application in DPS App Builder.

  I can create and send the app (InDesign CS6) the manufacturer folio - on the generator of the App from the DPS, but when I reached the last screen nothing shows up under "Downloads" area Type app only appears as "unique edition integrated app" and directs me "activate app" and buy a serial number, which is not what I want to do. I just want to download on iTunes to test on my personal iPad.
