  I have a Pro iPad with iOS 9.2.1 succeeding an iPad 2 air. A few applications I had on my iPad Air just won't download on my iPad Pro: The Cloud button is to be grayed out (when I search the app in the appstore) or a download button is missing (using the "my purchased apps") and try to download. Adding to the app in iTunes (button - install) doesn't either even if the application is in iTunes and installation button already exists and can be used. An application specific (but there are others) is Horizon go on the App Store of Switzerland. Years ago I was registered with the German AppStore but I downloaded this app from the AppStore Switzerland. What can I do?

  You have an age category app located in settings > general > Restrictions blocking apps in the store? Horizon GB seems to be rated 17 + in the store of Switzerland.

  I had a problem two weeks where the Frontier Brave app loses the connection to the internet. It requires a download on the app store, then it requires an additional installation. 14% in the download (varying from time to time, but rarely going above 14%) it stops and says that "a connection error has occurred.". Brave frontier was the only application that I had this problem on for more than a week, and then later hero Buster, another app, has had a similar problem. My other apps game (Puzzle and the Dragons and the dungeon bosses, for example) work perfectly well. I have never internet problems on something else.

  The strangest part of this is that Frontier Brave actually install successfully the first time that I downloaded. Later, I had to remove it due to another problem, but when I tried to re-download it, he stopped to install correctly. I looked to see if anyone else has had this problem and I couldn't find anything remotely recent. The application itself seems not to be to blame, because none of the forums dedicated to the game discuss this issue.

  I have tried the following to try to make it work:

• mail loses the connection (ssl, imap) from El Capitan. Still works with Thunderbird.

  Since the update to El Capitan, mail.app loses the card connections. Unlike a similar question here, mail load my new mail first, but then when I try to delete emails, or put them in a different folder, it displays a point exclamation and after a minute or two puts mail in the Inbox. After a trial of second (or fifth or tenth), it works.

  This happens no matter if is iCloud or another card account. And - the same account works well with thunderbird (same settings ssl).

  So it's certainly dependent on the mail program, and it started with the update of El Capitan.

• Application on phones Droid Chase

  Does anyone use the Chase app on their Droid phone? I'm having some trouble and am looking for others with the same problems so I can get Chase to solve.

  UPDATE - apparently something changed in the Chase deposit app recently. Now it works perfectly, taking sharp pictures which are accepted by the Bank. Interestingly, the view of the audit that the picture is taken is NOT in short now (it was), but the result image IS in short. Chase recently made major changes to their Web site and may have made a few changes to this app at the same time.

• Focus between two applications

  I work with both applications at the same time, which is made with CVI and the other not (e.i. Explorer). The application made with CVI every 20 seconds displays a new Panel and take focus (hence the other app lose focus), but I would still keep the emphasis on the second request (Explorer). Is this possible?

  Matteo has given you some useful links if you want to give your app focus.  But when I read your post, it looks like your application takes the focus and you don't want it.

  The attached sample project shows two ways to allow another application to keep focus when your application will normally consider.

  Both methods use the Windows SDK functions (a.k.a. Win32 API) to get or set the foreground window (the one with focus).  The Windows SDK is not installed by default with CVI.  It comes with the full package and the Suite OR developers, but not with the basic package.  If you have the complete package or suite, and you do not have the SDK installed, you just re-run the installation of the CVI and select only the SDK (or Win32 API).

  The basic idea behind the first method is that before you post your new Panel, you check to see which window is in the foreground by using GetForegroundWindow(), then your new display panel and then set previous window of the application in the foreground using SetForegroundWindow().  The downside of this method is that your new Panel has a quick flashing of focus before focus is returned to the other application.

  The second method checks if your app CVI is the foreground window before displaying the new window.  It does not display your new Panel if another application has the focus.  This way you don't get the blinks of update to your application CVI.  Depending on the purpose of your new Panel, you may have to display the new Panel when your application receives the focus instead to wait until 20 seconds to display.

  For demonstration purposes, this sample application appears again just the main draw instead of display a new Panel.  The two methods will be work the same way for a new Panel as well.

  Instructions for running the demo and see the two different methods are on the main Board.  Just build the application and run it.  I tested this example in CVI 6.0 and version 9.0.1.

  Having said all that, I have a question for you.   Why your application CVI shows a new sign every 20 seconds?  You can update an existing panel without using the DisplayPanel command and forcing the update to your application CVI.  Do you need a new Billboard?  And what happens after 20 seconds?  The first Panel again get hidden or destroyed?  Are another new panel displayed?

  There could be something even easier, you can do without one of these SDK, as do not use DisplayPanel if you need SetCtrlVal.  (But this model made for a writing exercise pleasure).

• First JavaFX application with time sequential process

  Hi all

  I'm working on my first JavaFX application.  I have a user (view) UI elements in place, I have a controller that works properly (with the exception that I will mention below), and I have a model that works properly (processes data correctly), but the model code was written to run under a user interface.

  What I want to do is the following.  When the user clicks on the "Run" button, the user input is passed to the model via the controller and the data is processed.  It's a do - once a sort of thing where the input is transformed into the output and that's the end of it.  The user interface can be reset and new entry provided, and all this happens again by clicking the run button.  Here's the problem: the treatment has several steps that need to occur in order, but some may take some time.  I want to provide feedback via a message (what is done) and overall progress via a progress bar (the two items in the current user interface).  The problem is that I am still very confused on how to accomplish the user comments.

  The user interface was built in SceneBuilder, and I attributed to the onMouseClicked event to call the runButtonClicked() method in the controller.

  The runButtonClicked() method calls the private methods that run the processing steps (I'll do something more intelligent exception - please ignore that for now)...

  Each of the calls in try-catch are tasks that need to be linked in the order listed.  Some of them may take a long time (for example, collectDescriptors(), evaluateSamples(), and writeResultsToTextFile().  The work is not done in the controller.  The controller creates instances of classes that do the actual work (this seems to be a departure from most of the tutorials I've seen - it seems the model and the controller are mixed in the tutorials).

  I would like to alert the user about this step is execution (by means of a message in the user interface) and at what stage of the process as a whole is in (through a progress bar).  It would be nice if the progress bar might reflect the status of each individual step (back to 0 at the beginning of the next step), but given the bar just reflect more all the advances (e.g., how many six steps were finished) would be sufficient.

  I also want to be able to manage a Cancel key event and just stop the whole process and reset the app (lose whatever work has been done is OK).

  -I can truly say what should be the best approach.  None of the examples in several tutorials, I went on that have really touched on this type of sequential process.  I would like suggestions.

  What you describe is a quite classic case to use the utility javafx.concurrent (task and Service).

  Your application is a perfect fit for the use of these services, which will provide you with:

  1. an execution thread concurrent to run your journal of the current process

  2. a feedback mechanism of thread-safe for the progress that you can link to a ProgressBar for interactive progress feedback.

  3. a feedback mechanism of thread-safe for messages that you can bind a label to your interactive status feedback.

  4 code example that illustrates the ability to cancel and restart the process.

  5, a setter callback method of success that can be configured to provide a result and decide on the success.

  6. a reminder Set accessor method failure which can be set to make an exception and to take measures in case of failure.

  Task and Service samples

  There are a lot of examples of tasks if you search for task of JavaFX.

  There are also great documentation in the javadoc task and Service .

  Here is an example of using a service of JavaFX.  The example is a bit old and uses does not use some new features of the API such as setOnSucceeded or setOnFailed, it also uses models of generator now frowned upon, however, the bulk of it is still relevant to what you want.

  Here is another sample more complicated to make 300 cards off screen and save the files in JavaFX, although I doubt that your task should be as complicated and probably a unique control service is all you need, in order to not pay too much attention to the more complicated example unless you need this kind of functionality.

  Here's another simple example for Re: create several parallel tasks into a single service, which shows in fact sequential and a side event of the stage of the tasks within a service.

  Progress can be reset between the steps, so that the message indicates the current step and progress indicates the status of the market rather than overall progress.  You can expose different processes for feeding of the overall progress back in addition to the progress of the step.

• Strange problem with the keyboard event listener

  I have a full screen touch app. To close the application, I set an event listener on keyboard for the key "0". I don't want the press user due to some restrictions Alt + F4 key combination. Problems begin when the application loses focus. Here's the code;

  I just moved from the Italy towards the France, I opened a bank account and intended to close my bank account in Italy.

  What I discovered is when you change the region in the Apple Store (which you have to do, since the credit card must belong to a bank in the region) do you lose all your purchases made ahead.   Are you logged in using the same as before Apple ID? Under the "iTunes and App Store", you can check in the settings menu.
