  My subscription to creative cloud updated Photoshop the other day. My iMac is running 10.8.5. Ever since this update, I can't open a JPEG file and get a message indicating "could not complete your request because the file was not found."   The files are not corrupted since I also tried with the old files which, in the past, worked normal and also with a few new files. That's the problem with all the files. JPG works normal in Photoshop and I can even export RAW from LR to CS6 and open Photoshop. But not in camera raw, in the General window.

  No idea what should be wrong?

  Maybe this will help someone.

  In one of the latest entries of Camera Raw, I saved a preset of a few parameters (parameters of export in XML format). These parameters have been updated with the xml format in the subdirectory camera raw. And what makes something for CR faild to load after that.

  I deleted the file and now everything is OK.

  The answer to your question depends entirely on what camera Canon photo come from your CR2 files.

  CR2 is the file used by Canon Camera Raw owner format. CR2 files are different for each camera model which is Canon. As a result, Adobe has update the mounting bracket in the Camera Raw plugin whenever camera manufacturers release a new model of camera.

  Different versions of Camera Raw are supported by different versions of Photoshop.

  It is likely that your plugin needs version of Photoshop Camera Raw updated via help > updates.

  Since I've updated my CC of the PS today, I'm unable to open jpg in PS files, even the JPG files that I had no problem opening in PS so far. Whenever I try, I get the following error message:

  Photoshop CC 2015 is not compatible on Mac OS 10.7.5, however if you only use the version of Photoshop CC, then you can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop back to default values.

  "To re-create the Photoshop preferences files, start the application while pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop settings file?"

  In recent days, Photoshop CS4 began to send me of dialog boxes "Could not complete your request because of a program error" whenever I try to open a non - PSD file.   Please open the folder of the Application.

  Then open the Photoshop CS4 folder and right-click (Ctrl + click) on Photoshop CS4.app and select to display the contents of the package.

  Open the contents of the folder, and then MAC OS and then run Photoshop CS4.

  After you install the latest update for Photoshop, if you have not customized the application for your use, then you can try reset the Photoshop preferences to default.

  Steps to follow:

  So since the last update to the new user interface, I was not able to reframe my documents (patterns of web page) without getting the error "Could not complete your request because the file is not found" - the file is clearly there and can be saved, and I can restart photoshop and open it again without any problem, but still suffer the problem of harvest tool. Also since I shut down my computer and reopened it and it is not resolved. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  Just updated the OS to a MacBook Pro in Yosemite.

  But now I can't make the video in Photoshop Creative cloud (cannot render in CS6 either)

  Instead, get the following message:

  "Could not complete your request because of a program error"

  Already tried to delete the Preferences file.

  Any ideas?
