  The 100 MB System Partition is created by Windows 7 during installation and it is usually hidden in almost all cases. What might have happened in your computer, it is that, somehow, a drive letter has been assigned to that partition, and this is why it is displayed in the window of your computer. You can delete the associated with the System Partition drive letter on your computer to make this new hidden partition. You must not remove or make changes within this partition, it will leave your computer in the absence of priming.

  To remove the drive letter of the System Partition:

  1. click on Start, type diskmgmt.msc in the search box and press ENTER to open the disk management window.
  2. right click on the partition system booked about 100 MB of size in question and then click change drive letters or paths.
  Note: Be careful here, do not make any changes to the drive letter assigned to the other partitions in the computer, which would be a disaster.
  3. then in the pop box - next up, Select the drive letter assigned to the partition, and then click Remove.

  RNR does support only 1 location of target, in your case, local backup or USB.

  If you change the location to the USB, it will ask "delete backups on Local.  If you say no, it will keep local backups and start on USB. View backups should ONLY list target current place of residence.  In your case, USB.  You said delete Basic, yes he deleted based on USB.

  Go to the RNR, menu, advanced and post a screenshot of the view backups.  Do not use the main pane.

  (1) change the local location.  You can remove LOCAL.  Then replace location USB.

  (2) uninstall the RNR.  This will remove \RRbackups on drive C.  Replace.

  The main panel (simple opinion) may use registry values to list all backups while the Advanced menu should list ONLY the target location.

  Someone at - it thoughts on installing the LR2 program on an external hard drive to store all the pictures and projects about it too so.  If you do this you just plug the external hard drive into any pc or laptop and have your program and photos with you, even when you're traveling?  If I had to do this where would be the best place to put a back up of all my work to?  the local drive or dvd?   Ive not heard of people doing this, so I wonder if this isn't a good way to do.  Most often, I hear of just using the external dirve for one rear device.

  Yes, in the application of the LR of the internal (boot-generally that it is starting, which is) is the way to go.   What is your external drive only has 1 TB of storage?  You have found the warning because the 900 GB in iCloud and the size of your current library on the external hard drive will not fit on the disc. If you have a disc, use a drive twice the size of your library of Photos, so you will not miss storage in the years to come. Any drive that you use with pictures must have Mac OS Extended (Journaled) file system.

  iCloud library does not know, the pictures are identical. It will download all the photos in the library moved to iCloud and check if they are duplicates.   I would like to just launch Recovery to restore the HARD drive to its factory condition. If the recovery fails, you can try to delete the partitions with FDISK from a startup MS-DOS disk. Free bootdisks can be found at www.bootdisk.com

  FDISK can also repair a Master Boot Record by running this command: FDISK/MBR
  But it is not 100% reliable, it could cause more harm than good.

  1. what type of drive is D? Is - this another partition on the same disk?

  2 Windows operating system you are using?

  You can change the location of the disk to save the data in the d: instead of C: and check if it helps.

  a. navigate to the location (username) C:\Users\.
  b. right click on the folder that you want to change the location, and then select Properties.
  c. click on the location tab and change the location to D: drive.

  d. click on apply and Ok.

  I have a HP Compaq laptop. I use this laptop for 4 years. I have 4 local drives.
